A Catastrophic Family Experience
I recently stayed at the AC Marriott in Tudela with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of catastrophic. What should have been a pleasant family getaway turned into a nightmare due to the substandard conditions of the hotel's restaurant.
Upon our arrival, we decided to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, expecting fresh and well-prepared food. However, the first red flag was the complete lack of other guests— the restaurant was entirely empty, which should have been a warning sign. The meals we were served were clearly not made with fresh produce; the quality was extremely poor and left us feeling uneasy.
To our horror, just a few hours after dinner, both of my children became violently ill. They suffered from severe vomiting that lasted for two days, completely ruining our trip. As a parent, it was devastating to see them go through such a terrible experience, especially knowing it was caused by something that should have been safe— the food provided by the hotel.
What makes this situation even worse is the hotel's complete lack of concern and responsibility. Despite witnessing the distress my family went through, not a single staff member reached out to us to check on the health of our children. There was no apology, no offer of assistance, and certainly no follow-up after our stay. This level of negligence is simply unacceptable.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families. The health and safety standards of their restaurant are clearly far below what any guest should expect. And the management takes absolutely no accountability. My advice to future guests: avoid the restaurant at all costs, and reconsider staying at this hotel altogether if you value your family’s well-being.
