I had a fantastic stay at AC Hotel The property is beautifully designed with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that feels both stylish and comfortable. My room was spotless and comfy. A special shout-out to O’Brien, the staff engineer, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. He needs a promotion. The night entertainment in the dinning and patio area was lively. Overall my stay excceeded my expectations. Room 439

We had an excellent experience at the AC Hotel, thanks largely to our waiter, Shaair. From the moment we was seated, he was very polite and attentive, taking the time to listen carefully to our questions and preferences. When the menu navigation wasn’t initially clear, Shaair patiently explained how to access and navigate it, making the process easy and stress-free. He also had a great sense of humor, making light jokes that added to the overall experience without ever being unprofessional. His waiter etiquette was top-notch, and his warm, friendly approach truly elevated our dining experience. Outstanding service all around.

​As a Jamaican national, I sometimes anticipate being treated "differently" than international tourists when staying at local resorts. However, I am delighted to report that my experience at the AC Hotel, Kingson, was exceptional; I was genuinely treated as a valued guest throughout my stay, and I felt completely comfortable. ​The staff was notably outstanding: ​Andrew, who handled our check-in, was great. ​Our morning waitress, Alicia, was excellent. ​Kudos to the management for cultivating such a well-trained staff. ​The only reason I would not give the property a perfect 5 out of 5 rating is purely due to the lack of a beach directly accessible from the hotel doors. ​Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

My friends and I came to Jamaica for a class reunion event the weekend before Hurricane Melissa hit. Our flights home were canceled, and we ended up having to ride out the Category 4 hurricane at the AC Marriott in Kingston. We are so incredibly blessed we were held up in this very modern hotel with impact windows—we felt safe and secure the entire time. The lobby also has a great vibe! The staff was exceptional in every way during a very stressful situation. The briefing by the General Manager, Koen Hietbrink, ahead of the hurricane was excellent, preparing us for every possible scenario. Assistant Manager Suelan Ford was awesome, constantly checking on guests in the lobby and assisting with any need. A special mention to Alexandra, a host in the hotel restaurant, who truly treated us like family. She always greeted us with a smile and was so helpful, even checking on us in the lobby when we weren't in the restaurant area. Chef Stephan was great and very accommodating with the special hurricane menu. The food was excellent! The entire team was incredibly accommodating, bringing us games to play to keep our spirits up. During the hurricane, we lost power for no longer than a minute about five times before the generator seamlessly kicked in. While we are doing well here, it is heartbreaking to see the damage in Western Jamaica. Please keep Jamaica in your prayers 🙏🏾. Thank you, AC Marriott, for taking such great care of us!

I had a reservation for one (01) where my host Alexandra was awesome from making the reservation to getting me seated, was an experience, I chose to dine alone but she made me feel like I was among friends. My pics, my birthday music, she was spot on. Was an experience with her. Food was good, big up to chef Stephaun and the lounge manager Mr. Clarence Taylor did a great job to ensure I enjoyed my birthday reservation.

My stay at AC Marriott Kingston was quite enjoyable, and overall, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kingston. The accommodations are comfortable, secure, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The room décor is modern and nicely done, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room also includes convenient amenities such as a mini refrigerator stocked with water, a coffee maker, an in-room safe, blow dryer, iron, and sufficient electrical outlets with USB ports for easy device charging. Although the hotel is a popular hotspot in Kingston meaning there’s always entertainment and a lively atmosphere—you never miss out on feeling safe. Because the hotel attracts visitors who come specifically to socialize, there is ample security in place. Access to the guest room floors is restricted to registered hotel guests only, which added an extra level of comfort and peace of mind. My room rate included breakfast, which I appreciated. The breakfast offered a decent selection of Jamaican options, and you also have the flexibility to order additional menu items if you’re in the mood for something different. The staff was generally pleasant and accommodating, though there is some room for improvement in consistency. That said, one of the absolute highlights of my stay was the exceptional service I received from O’Brian (Brian). If you visit, ask for Brian he truly goes above and beyond to assist guests in any way he can. His level of care and attention made my stay memorable and is a big reason I would return. The location is very central and convenient. Using Uber to get to events and nearby points of interest was easy and hassle-free. As a bonus, there is a BMW dealership just steps from the lobby if you feel like treating yourself, as well as a Starbucks on-site for coffee lovers and quick breakfast or snack options. Overall, this was a 5-star experience, and I look forward to staying here again whenever I’m in Kingston.
