We stayed in this hotel on September 8 for a couple of nights. The hotel is beautifully situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean with Larcomar right next door, and Lovers Park just a pleasant stroll away. The receptionists were wonderfully friendly, and I truly appreciate that they moved us to a room with a view the next day, after I requested it. ||I would have given this rating a perfect 5 if not for the disappointing service I received at the restaurant during breakfast and I want to call it out. The server named Alessandra/ Alexandra was unfriendly and displayed noticeable snobby attitude including eye rolling. She neither welcomed us nor offered a drink and kept walking past us while attending to other guests in neighboring tables. Despite the good food, her negative vibe really left a bad taste in our mouths. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, but if you are unhappy, please don't bring that energy to your innocent paying guests! ||I spoke to one of the assistant managers at the front desk and mentioned our bad experience. That said, I would still recommend this place, as I understand that the majority of the staff do not behave this way. ||To management, may I suggest ensuring that staff with the right temperament are placed in guest- facing roles. AC Hotel Lima Miraflor is a 4-star hotel, not a motel, and guests deserve consistent, professional service - especially at the start of their day during breakfast.
