I've stayed at a variety of Marriott brand hotels during my travels. This was the second time staying at an AC property last month. WOW....what a wonderful stay!
When friends and colleagues ask me about my travels, I always say, "what makes a hotel great, are the staff." From front desk, to the servers/hosts at breakfast, and housekeeping, the service was phenomenal and personalized. A big shout out to Daniel, Andrea, and Joanna at breakfast. It was great to see them almost every morning, always with a smile. I enjoyed our conversations. Furthermore, the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Make sure to order the avocado/poached egg toast. Amazing!
After a few days of getting settled, there was an issue with our room. The front desk, without hesitation, handled the situation professionally and quickly. The attention to detail was exceptional. Thank you for that.
The hotel itself is a newer property. It has direct ocean views and close to shopping, restaurants, grocery, and most important, the miles of parks that are connected by walking and bike paths that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Everything you need is within walking distance. As with other AC hotels, the decor has a minimalist modern design. Housekeeping does a great job with the upkeep of the building and daily servicing of the rooms.
The fitness center, though small, is located on the top floor and offers the basics someone would need; cardio, hand weights, and a multi-purpose strength training machine. The center overlooks the city. Hand towels, water bottles, and apples are available. Nice touch!
I'll be returning to Lima shortly. And yes, I'll be staying at this hotel again. I can't wait. :)
