The best hotel in Montana hands down ! The staff are SOO kind and respectful and very helpful . The woman Christine the waiter at breakfast was so sweet and you can tell she wants to make guests experiences extra special and memorable. And she does ! I travel a lot for work and have been too many hotels . The hospitality of the staff location of the hotel, the delicious well thought out breakfast and comfort of the beds is top notch to say the least 🤗

Our son was married in Missoula and all our guests stayed here. We held the welcome party in the bar and it was a huge success. Ashley in group sales was wonderful to work with in getting our room blocks and setting up the bar for the party. The banquet captain and his team could not be more accommodating. The bartenders were amazing, and so friendly. We had about 100 guests and everyone was served quickly. Highly recommend the Marriott for a wedding and welcome party.

I stayed here for one night on a work trip and booked under the government state rate. Upon arrival, I was told the hotel does not actually offer that rate even though it is listed online. This created a $60+ price difference which was frustrating since I can only book hotels within per diem when traveling for work. The front desk staff were kind and apologetic and I understand it was not their fault. I requested written confirmation that they could not honor the booked rate and shortly after I received a call to my room letting me know management would honor the price which I truly appreciate. However this issue clearly is not a one off as the guest in front of me experienced the same problem and was offered a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Thank you to management for ultimately honoring the rate but I strongly encourage updating the website to reflect accurate pricing so other guests do not face the same situation.

The staff were lovely, the valet parking efficient (self parking was offered), the roof bar was fun, and breakfast not bad; that’s the best bits. The room was terrible for a hotel of this supposed quality: tiny window, very noisy due to a fan 3 floors below! No drinking water, no hot chocolate, only bedside table and charging points was squeezed between the two beds. Full speed internet cost an additional $4.50, but given that the free was ok why bother - it just made the setup feel cheap. Worst was the filthy base to the shower - no idea when that was last cleaned, see photo. Would I stay here again? Not a chance. Quite possibly the most expensive hotel in Missoula yet one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in.

Google
This place has the initial image of luxury and quality but lacks it once you actually get inside. No bottled water in the rooms, poor working toilet, noisy thermostat, valet staff hard to get ahold of, no breakfast due to a undisclosed maintenance in the kitchen. Will not return for $311 a night!

Stay here often and would've given 5 stars but on my last visit they had NO hot water. They had known this was problem at least a day prior and they never called us to let us know to make alternate plans. I expect more from any hotel at that rate.

Google
One of the best hotels in Missoula. Lots to do downtown. Polite and courteous staff. Be aware there’s no parking, you have to deal with that yourself or pay to Valet the car.

This was my first experience at this hotel and I will always come back. It’s absolutely beautiful and clean, wonderful food options. BUT it was Leanna who works at the front desk who went above and beyond to help me. When you are away from home and need an advocate, Leanna has your back. Thank you to her for making me a customer for life.

Yelp
Beautiful classy hotel in a great location. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly and efficient. Valet was never outside but was quick when called. Room was beautiful, bed is comfortable, shower was large and had good water pressure. Roof top bar was great too! Bartenders were great and the view was amazing! Gym was also good!

Yelp
The location in downtown Missoula, can't be beat. The service is friendly and the beds are comfortable. It is weird that they have the coffee setup near the "closet" as it doesn't have any plugs and you have to move the whole thing to the desk. But they had coffee and a fridge, and that is always appreciated. Also lots of plugs on the nightstand. I appreciate that. The lighting in the bathroom was not great for applying makeup. And the rooftop bar is small and you don't get 360 views. Also, you have to be in the right elevator to reach it and it can be confusing. I did enjoy my stay here in Missoula. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful and the shuttle to and from the airport was timely.

Yelp
Accessibility, booked an ADA room and now they say there's no record of it. Can barely use the toilet because of how narrow the room is, have to use one in a stairwell. Also really hard to even get onto their WiFiIf you are in a wheelchair this is not the hotel for you.

Yelp
Just wonderful! Beautifully designed modern hotel with a newly opened rooftop bar on the 7th floor and delicious breakfast options. Bed was comfortable, I especially loved the textured top sheet that went over the comforter! The rooftop bar only serves drinks but the lounge on the first floor does have a tapas menu. Views of the sunset were gorgeous. Drinks were more expensive at the rooftop bar than my bar of choice down the street but the ambience really elevated the experience. Get the breakfast! It ain't free but it's so worth it! Brie, manchego, prosciutto, the best croissants ever, churros and so much more were available at the self serve bar. On their menu, I highly recommend ordering the Cazuela dish. Perfectly crisp prosciutto on the bottom with egg, cheese and garlic aioli on top. Such creamy goodness! We ordered it two days in a row! Compliments and shout out to Chef Sarah who was the sweetest ever. We loved having the chance to speak with her at the end of breakfast. She gave us some recommendations around the city and really made us feel welcome. Would absolutely stay here again!!!!! Hotel parking is not free and no free airport shuttle available but a car is not needed to explore since downtown Missoula is so walkable. We reserved a third party airport shuttle service elsewhere ahead of time.

Yelp
3.5 Stars this Trip.. Love this location still... I stay here when I'm in town visiting my daughter who goes to UM! I did however have a couple of hiccups this trip which kinda surprised me, however still a very well deserved decent review. Can't say enough about the Customer Service at the Front Desk, Valet, and the Bartenders are legit! I'll be back. Peace... Frankie G.

Yelp
Location is the only thing the AC Hotel has going for it. We were in town for my son's wedding held at Caras Park, and my wife and daughters (AKA wedding party) were locked out of our room because staff timed out our card keys even though we were staying two nights. ALL of the girls' stuff was in the room as we had all been over at Caras Park all morning setting up. I had to race over from the venue and speak directly with rude front desk staff who failed to apologize for the error. We ended up being 45 minutes behind schedule for the wedding. As one of the priciest lodgings ($340+ a night) in Missoula, breakfast is $16 a head, and the beds are ridiculously poor. We won't be staying at the AC in Missoula again, as the exceptionally poor staff could have been heroes but chose to be zeroes. In a highly competitive lodging market, there are far better choices in Missoula, especially in this area. Look for either the Wren or the Residence Inn @ The Mercantile, which are both on the same block. The Wren is a cross between US Forest Service and REI with a very cool outdoor vibe, and the Merc/Residence Inn is gorgeous. In both cases, the staff at both hotels during previous stays was exceptional, and the AC management team should take note and do much, much better.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel recently after attending an event nearby. Loved that the hotel was within walking distance from all the shops and restaurants downtown. Also, loved that the hotel offered airport transportation to the Airport nearby. The rooms were spacious and very modern. We also had breakfast at the hotel. They offered a quick buffet like option of the standard fruit, yogurt, pastry , coffee and juices. You could also order something a la carte. I had a hot egg and cheese sandwich. It was convenient since we really didn't have time the next morning before our flights to go walk to a nearby restaurant. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I ever come back to area.

Yelp
I was very impressed my entire 5days there! From the moment I stepped out of my truck someone was there asking me if I needed help. Every person there had a smile and it felt very welcoming! The second day of my stay housekeeping came and cleaned the entire room! Very friendly staff! Workout room had what I needed and was very clean! Only negative was I wished they had dining. would recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Missoula!!

Yelp
Is it true that you can only get an upper floor here unless you are an "upper elite" member ?

Yelp
Great location, close to restaurants, shopping and campus, great property, rooftop bar was perfect! Rooms were very clean! Staff was great too!

Yelp
Wonderful stay would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area! Will be coming back

Yelp
Stayed here last month for one night after a weekend glamping event. Nice hotel. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping which was nice. Hotel was clean. Hotel employees were nice. They had breakfast which was pretty good. Not free though. Think it was about $14. I'd stay here again if in the area.

Yelp
The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were beautiful. We had a really great time in our vacation to Montana. Thanks, AC hotels!

Yelp
Just spent three nights at the AC, and it was terrific. Clean, stylish, comfy, well-equipped room in a Covid-safe environment. Nice bar in the lobby (I was hoping to try the rooftop bar but it isn't open until July), and very friendly service. It is in a great location that makes all of downtown walking accessible. A nice addition to Missoula Update a month later: My second trip to the AC. Still looks great and I love the room, but I had to knock off a star for growing pains. Very long check-in time, had to call the desk three times to get an answer, and the person I spoke to was much less friendly than my previous encounters. Feels like they are a bit understaffed, and some of the people need more training. Hint to management.....teach staff to treat guests like gold, not like an annoyance. But overall still a great place to stay in Missoula.

Yelp
Sadly I did not have an opportunity to stay here. I had my dog with me and when I approached the chec-in desk I was told they don't allow dogs. I was suprise to hear that having stat at other Marriot Hotels. When i I asked where the policy was the Receptionist said "I don't know but you can look it up online; or you can go next door the other hotel. They take dogs". My reply was well I guess I won't be staying at a Marriott tonight and her reply was " I don't get paid enough to care". After speaking with her supervisor via the phone she continued insulting me by say may I should read the rule on like next time before coming into a hotel. I have never in all my life (I'm 42) had such terrible custome service. Nor will I support the AC brand in The US going forward.

Yelp
Very great location downtown. Room was ample and great night of sleep. I enjoyed a nice walk throughout town. The bar had some terrific cocktails. I recommend walking through the adjoining hotel to view the art and pictures. Pretty fun. It was a special occasion and I banked some points for a single night stay. If I had to pop straight cash for a night there's a 50/50 chance I'd stay again unless the price was more in my $120-140 range but I believe this one is much steeper normally.

Nick P.

Yelp
So, a king corner suite is a modestlysizeroom with a queen bed; when I told the front desk I had booked a king sized bed I was informed "that is a hotel king" - no that's BS... Sorry Marriot last time you see me, my 'elite' status doesn't deserved to be hoodwinked by you... there are better options

Yelp
This NEW HOTEL is amazing! Sparkling clean, wonderful service across all departments, great location, and just overall 110%!!! Breakfast is $12 and includes the special - casuela with whole cage-free egg, manchego cheese, and prosciutto. DELISH!

Yelp
Nice place right in the middle of downtown walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. I'll stay here again. I'd recommend.

Kendyl T.

Yelp
Room was clean and simple. Not a fan of the laminate hardwood floors, but was fine. Comfortable bed and pillows. The A/C unit in the room was awful. Sounded like a jet plane warming up and it would come on seemingly every few minutes. So loud and obnoxious all night long. Also bring your own shampoo/conditioner as theirs is super smelly, although the shower is very nice. This hotel is attached/right next to their Residence Inn and I would much rather stay there.

R R.

Yelp
This property does not care or appreciate their customers. The staff is unfriendly, and not helpful. I would leave 0 stars but am forced to leave at least one. There are specifics but management tends to bend terms to meet their function. I will NEVER stay at any of the AC Hotels because of the property in Missoula.
