Staff is super nice and speak English. Walk to City of Arts and Sciences. Easy taxi to Old Town. Very safe area. Rooms are very small and narrow but nice enough. I am a platinum elite lifetime member. I would give 4 stars but they allow smoking on the terrace. I went outdoors to read a book with my son and every single guest around us lit a cigarette forcing us to inhale poisonous air. What could have been a lovely breezy evening instantly ruined by SIX TABLES OF SMOKERS!!!! II wish Marriott would respect the non smokers instead of relenting to the smokers who are rude and have no concern for their own health much less yours! I will never give any business great reviews if I am forced to breathe smoke which is not my choice. If they want to smoke they should go stand in the street. I get so tired of smokers. Really sick of this policy.

In general it was a pretty nice experience, the staff downstairs and general housekeeping were really nice, helpful, and most are comfortable speaking English As per usual, the rooms are much much smaller than what is shown in the pictures (cant be too surprised since this seems like standard tactic for hotels). In addition, our room was said to have WiFi, but since we were high in the building it was pretty much unusable. Not super necessary in this city but we do like to watch something before sleep. Maybe add another router at the top of the building? Or just dont advertise the room as having WiFi when it's barely effective for using Whatsapp.

In my view, they’re a solid 4-star. I would say this hotel is good for short-term business trips but not for romantic getaways. All the basic amenities are here, the rooms look standard (the only unique aspect was probably the see-through sink), and the service was simply polite and professional. I did not find the room to be too small, as others have said in the reviews. Given the dimensions of the overall hotel, the layout of our room was okay. The best attractions to see near this hotel are the aquarium, arts and sciences museums, the IMAX/3D theatre, and Queen Sofia’s performing arts centre, all grouped together a few blocks away. Besides those buildings, you may not be able to see many exciting things. The neighbourhood this hotel is in felt quite residential. For food, we only had McDonald’s and the hotel breakfast (which was delicious). When we were taking a walk around, I had a feeling that it wouldn’t be easy to find a welcoming restaurant.

We were robbed in our hotel room Your security key allows you to go ANY floor. The robbers got into our room (locked when we left for the beach), ripped the metal safe out the cupboard and then smashed and opened the safe. Stole $4,000 in engagement and wedding rings. Left our passports thank goodness. Hotel didn't take this robbery seriously they offered very little sympathy or reactions. Reported robbery to the Police. I won't stay at this again. I now don't feel safe at AC Hotel Valencia. If you stay at this hotel keep all your valuables on your person - the room safe obviously is not secure (see photos)

The queen room we had were slightly smaller, in terms of size, but clean and neat. Bathrooms were good and the breakfast was great. Within 10 minutes to major landmarks.

Valencia I stayed at this property for a week and want to give recognition to three phenomenal employees: Jorge, Yu and Lorena. Each of them sets the bar high for what every Marriott employee should strive to achieve in customer service. The room was average and aside from the occasional loud vehicle and motorcycle noise on the street this property was quiet. There is a beautiful architecture display a couple blocks away. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, massage, and cafés all within a few minutes walking distance. There is a gym on the top floor with a terrace and view of the general area.

Google
Solid Marriott hotel for a decent value. Location is decent depending on what you want to do. About 15 min walk to the cool museum area or 25 min walk to the beach...but the old town area is like 50+ mins. Rooms are more modern...wifi and AC work. Has nice common area, bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Good value...would stay here again.

Nice City Hotel with Great breakfast, nice Rooms and extraordinary staff! Spent a vacation with my Partner there for our anniversary and Even got an Upgrade for the Special occasion, thanks again to the Team! The Gym had a great view and Overall the Hotel is very close to everything Important. You can reach the Garden, oceonografic easily by foot. Would come back anytime when in Valencia!

Yelp
The location is more towards the port than the old town. But is easy enough to get back and forth. The hotel property is in good shape. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. The breakfast was very good.

Yelp
RUN FAR AWAY! If I could leave than 1 star I would. I stayed at this property over easter weekend and it was a DISASTER. At check-in I requested a room with AC and working wi-fi but neither one of those basics amenities were given to me. In my opinion, the worst is with the AC. Per the manager of the hotel after serval complaints in person and by phone call is that they do not have a functional AC per room. They set temperatures by why they see fit by chunks. Ex. I was on the 4th floor to the left of the elevator and the hallway and my room was blazing hot. Def over 88F. At their best solution was "open the windows and if its too cold (bcs outside it was cold and wet) we can offer you more blanket. I feel that this Hotel is a disgrace and is def deceitful by offering basic amenities of AC and not stating that is subject to "luck" of which area of the hotel your room is designated. Basically roll the dice to see if your room may be really cold or really warm.

Yelp
We stayed at this Marriott property while visiting Valencia, Spain . We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Altor was phenomenal upon check-in- he even gave us a map and reviewed some " Must See Sights ". He also upgraded our room, which was amazing. As Mariott Bonvoy members, we had a $20.00 credit per day, which we used towards breakfast. The Breakfast is a " Modified Buffet" and was pretty good. We really liked our room. The views of Valencia were superb. The bed was very comfortable too. I really liked the window that could open for fresh air. The bathtub was a big plus! The hotel is well situated, and is close to the bus stop, as well as shopping and restaurants. All hotel staff were very friendly! We had a great stay

Yelp
AC Hotel Valencia is located close to the main shopping district in Valencia, with Zara and Aqua (a big mall) a few blocks away. You can walk maybe 10-15 minutes and get a view of the City of Arts and Science. My breakdown of the review: Rooms: Comfortable beds, plenty of shelves. 5 stars Bathroom: Huge and clean, and it has face towels! (Notable since 2 out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Spain didn't have them!). 5 stars Food: The breakfast buffet selection is very limited in options, but quality wise pretty good. The best items are the Spanish Omelets (both vegetarian and meat versions good). For our arrival dinner they cranked out one of the best pork dishes we had - like a braises piece of pork shoulder that was super tender and juicy. 4 stars.

Yelp
The AC on Avda. de Francia is a pretty solid hotel all the way around. Rooms are big by European standards, and they are kept impossibly clean. The wi-fi is included, unlike the AC in Madrid, as is breakfast. Breakfast even includes eggs and meats cooked to order in addition to the carb fest on the buffet line. Nice touch. Sadly, the wi-fi was a bit sub-par, occasionally disappearing for 10 minutes or so. The location of the hotel is not the best, but there are some solid restaurants and the necessary shopping nearby. You will need to find a way to get to Old Town Valencia, though. It's too far to walk. Every employee I interacted with was fantastic, from the maids to the front desk to the people in the breakfast room. For $80 (US) a night, this was a steal. I would stay again without giving it a second thought.

Yelp
9/30/2012 Good location, but get with the WiFi program! Gold / Plantinum Elite get no real special perks, but service was really good and they accommodated with the hotel short comings.

Yelp
Good hotel and kind desk people. WiFi only in the lobby.

Yelp
I guess I was thinking this was in a little nicer section of town. The room was Ok, and the front desk was helpful (Kevin in particular). Good location if you want to go to the Oceanographic. The weather was unusually wet and cold, so maybe my slightly negative attitude is due to that. Again, everyone has been so lovely on our trip.

Yelp
modern, comfortable, clean, very reasonable (paid 10k mariott points/day but can be had for less than $100/day through hotels dot com) great breakfast (E15 i think), free parking on the street, free wifi (in the lobby only, pay in rooms) overall very satisfied. a couple nice neighborhood restaurants down the street, the oceanographic 3 blocks away. direct bus to city center stops in front of hotel. if it's raining when you arrive, park your car under the overhead before the entrance. since there is no drop-off zone right in front (or anywhere except their parking). parking absolutely not useful since street parking is free and plentiful in a 1 block radius. ah, did i mention it has free minibar? as in: you drink (soda, juice and beer), they replenish daily and it doesn't cost one red cent (or yellow eurocent:)

Yelp
Outstanding front desk staff. The were so friendly and willing to share their knowledge. I work in a hotel and they were some of the best I've seen.

Yelp
The Hotel AC Valencia is located in the south of the city close to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, Valencia's futuristic center for science and art with an opera, a museum of science, a planetarium, and the Oceanografic. The port and some beaches like for instance Playa de Levante o de las Arenas and Playa del la Malvarrosa are near-by. The Hotel's foyer, the restaurant and the rooms are nicely appearing. The bathroom impressed with granit walls all in green and black. The room was not too big but offered nice furniture in a cool style on dark brown parquet floor. In addition there was a large flatscreen tv and a minibar free of charge. But unfortunately there was neither a coffee machine nor a safe. I highly appreciated the free minibar, however. Breakfast was fine and the staff was very helpful wherever required. In the foyer there is free WLAN, but for the rooms prepaid cards (24h) have to be acquired at the frontdesk. And finally before beeing forgotten: the Formula One Valencia Street Circuit is also pretty close between the Hotel and the port.
