"This tea shop looks like the sort of place you’d find in a Harry Potter film. Opened in 1835, it’s the oldest in Europe and has changed very little over the decades. The wonderful scent of green, white, and black tea that fills the air adds to the magical atmosphere. In contrast, just around the corner is a door that leads up to a caf&eacute that feels like something you might see in a Miss Marple film. This modern addition to the shop is an ideal place for afternoon tea, serving tea-time favorites like scones with fresh berries or lemon curd, finger sandwiches, and blini with salmon."

If you're into afternoon tea 🍵 and you are in Copenhagen then this is the place for you. It is the oldest tea shop in Denmark, over 190 years old. You will be treated like royalty here. Beautifully decorated and authentic items still being used here. Over 100 of different tea🫖 from around the world to choose from. So I am sure you will find one that you like.

Highly recommend , actually you must visit it if you like tea. Cozy vibes You should book in advance to avoid missing opportunity to try it. I chosen bournonville Blending , incredible if I return back definitely will try it again.

Plus points... A very nice hidden little tea room behind the tea shop. Very professional friendly staff with great tea knowledge. The best scones I have ever tasted, soft warm inside with a good shell crunchy outside. Perfect. Very tasty finger sandwiches and a tasty desserts. The afternoon tea is surprisingly filling. There is more than enough tea served. I had 4 cups from my pot and had about half left. I had the African Kenya tip tea with milk on the side and the wife had white pineapple tea. Both very nice. 👍🏽 The 2 minus points were... Our gift card included cremant but as the price has been put up since it was bought we were refused it. That was a shame. 😢 Price now is 285kr. The second point was that we were delayed and no one is picking up the phone when we tried to inform them. Once we were there we could hear the phone ringing but the staff do not pick it up. I have already recommended the tea room.

You can’t miss this place while spending your time in Copenhagen. I’m speechless. The kindest staff in the city. The most delicious scones & tea I’ve had ❤️

Lovely place for delicious tea with a great selection. The renovated location is cozy and stylish. The acoustics are a bit rough making the place a little loud when there are many people, but it was not a problem to hold a conversation at our table even when fairly closely spaced with the neighbouring spots.

Have been here twice and it never disappoints! We're going as a group of 4 and ordered different stuff from the menu. We also got recommendation on which tea to try based on our preferences. It is nice place to hang out and chill, enjoy nice tea, relax.

Google
Brilliant experience. Lovely afternoon tea on par with some of the 5* hotel versions I've had but for a fraction of the cost. The shop itself could do with slightly more of their teas available to buy though but there were loads there to be fair

Google
One of my best experiences in a tea room. It has been like in the books from the 1800. They take care of each details, the beauty and elegance of the place, the very good tea and tea preparation, and the delucious small cakes. If you love Miss Potter books and take a moment for feeling good, this place is for you.

Yelp
We visited for late afternoon tea with our girls and had a wonderful time. Its always tough when you walk in with a smaller child around china and breakables but the staff were so kind and attentive and made our girls feel super welcome! I had so many questions about the tea since my friend had highly recommended this brand in Copenhagen. They were so patient with all my many many questions. It was so tough to make a decision as their teaware is beautiful and their teas smell wonderful. The afternoon tea was so fun and the girls gobbled up all the tiny sandwiches and desserts. We ordered 2 sets and that was plenty for 2 adults and 2 children.

Yelp
My favorite afternoon tea place in CPH. Love the scones there! Milky oolong is the tea that I always get. Very good service. Nice atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Yelp
What a lovely, classic tea-merchant! The scent in the tiny shop (jampacked with customers) is absolutely gorgeous, the service efficient and knowledgeble. I bought two rooibos teas in a couple of their signature pretty tea tins - yes your REALLY need to get at least two of them, the design is adorable and they stack well! Comes in various colours and sizes, decent prices and a perfect souvenir and gift to any tea lover I'd say. and even if the flavours aren't as full and strong as Löv teas they are really nice (rhubarb and pear/ginger). I can definitely see myself refilling the tins from the webshop. It's obviously a very popular place for both locals and tourists (and rightly so) and I'm looking forward to take an afternoon tea there next time in Copenhagen. If they cater for vegetarians that is.

Yelp
My review is strictly about the store. The store and tea products are everything that's right with the world. Workers were fast, very good with recommendations, and the store is just awesome to see. Old world style with such yummy tea. I can not recommend the White Temple tea more!!!! It's seriously my favorite tea, after I visited, I have to order more after a month.

Yelp
Perch's is a long-standing tea store in Copenhagen. Actually, just this year, they are celebrating their 180th birthday! Located in the cutest little old house on Kronprinsensgade, you can feel the magic already when you enter the stairwell leading up to the tea room above the store. It smells amazing! The tea room itself is relatively small, but not tiny. There's about 8-10 tables, maybe, so reservations are recommended, especially on the weekend. We were super lucky and got a small table in a cozy corner, away from the more crowded main room, and right under a window towards the busy little street downstairs. The interior is very tasteful and elegant, in neutral colors and fresh flowers everywhere. I had seen enough pictures both here and on Instagram to know that I wanted the full-on tea ceremony, which comes on a three-tiered cake stand and just looks so pretty! The tea ceremony includes a glass of cémant, if you want, otherwise you can order it "plain" and focus only on the tea. The whole setting is beautiful, using Royal Copenhagen porcelain either in crisp white, or the classic white and blue pattern. After a short wait, our teas were served in cute teapots, freshly brewed, steaming, and fragrant, followed by the tea ceremony. We got huge, buttery scones, three different kinds of small tea sandwiches, and two different types of petit fours. Along with the scones came some jam, lemon curd, and whipped cream (unfortunately, they were out of clotted cream, which they normally offer). I really loved all of it, especially the lemon curd - it's so amazing! I'll be coming back soon, I've already made a reservation for when my mom is visiting next time. I think the price is fair for what you get, as well. And on the way out, you can just stop by the store downstairs and get your favorite tea to take home!

Yelp
Ah, the fresh aroma of a thousand and one exotic (and not-so-exotic) teas drapes around you even when just passing by. Always packed with customers, their selection and quality are as good as it gets. I was actually not aware of the charming -kinda secret- tea room right above the tea shop, so it was an extremely pleasant surprise to refresh my steaming soul on a hot summer day. The sweet staff know their stuff: I was all-too-happy to roll with their suggestion of the iced tea specialty of the day: white mulberry, unsweetened. It came in a nice glass, all fancied up with summer berries and a lemon slice at the bottom. And complimentary cookies (how nice of them!). In retrospect I should have made a picture, but my thirst got the best of me. A tea so sweet, so exquisite and so refreshing I actually didn't mind to queue afterwards for a quarter hour at the shop downstairs for 200 grams of the good stuff.

Yelp
The tea shop is located on the first floor, so go by the side of the buidling through the side entrance. On Satruday afternoon, I was initially the only man in the place. It was very lady-like, which was no bad thing for my wife. Almost everyone choose the tea ceremony, which is to say a few crustless sandwiches, a couple of scones, a couple of petit four. There was also an optional glass of bubbly, which was perfectly fine. The tea itself was reasonable. The taste was good, but very mild by British standards (fair enough, as it is not in Britain). The room was gently classy, but not mind blowing. Very highly recommended to treat a lady in a beningn atmosphere.

Yelp
I went here to get my MIL a birthday present. It looked super posh on the outside - with them being the royal supplier - so it could discourage you a bit from getting inside, especially if you think you're not a tea connoiseur. But I did go inside and got served by a real nice guy who was very friendly and gave me advice and suggestions on which tea to pick and the tea wasn't as expensive as I thought either. If you're a fan of tea and would like to explore your possibilities, this is the place to go. Definitely

Yelp
Old traditional tea shop and cafe of which both are beautifully decorated. I believe their selection of tea is wide. We had the Celebration menu at the restaurant which includes sandwiches, cake and scones. All good except they had run of of clotted cream and a juice we ordered. One of the few places where they will speak to you in "De" (old formal Danish only used by 90+ year olds). I like that. It is, however, a shame their service does not keep up. Stressed staff, paper napkins and forgetting spoons to serve yourself does not go hand in hand with the image they are selling. Had to wait in line 5-10 min to pay Staff was nice. All in all I dont mind them trying to be formal nor their relaxed service but together they do not match.

Yelp
On my first visit to Denmark I visited and purchased tea at A C Perchs, and had no idea about the excellent quality of selection of teas available in these far away land. I particularly enjoyed the quince tea, although the jasmin tea blend was quite good. Expect to spend quite a bit of money to purchase tea here, however the quality of their leaves met my high expectations.
