My husband and I spent the long weekend in Chalet 5, and it was absolutely perfect. The chalet had everything we needed — a large fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, filtered drinking water, a heater, and a TV with Netflix! The view of the Australian outback bush from the chalet was beautiful and we truly appreciated the peaceful, tranquil setting. It felt like a hidden gem just 10 minutes' drive from Margaret River town, close enough for convenience but far enough to enjoy complete serenity. The chalet was really clean and the self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back, it was a little slice of paradise away from the busy city life!

I booked this accommodation after reading that this has a "pay when you stay" option. However, when I cancelled a short while later, I was charged one night's stay. Hotels.com informed me this information was clearly stated on their website - I beg to differ, it was tucked away and is only clear after clicking a few links. So I was charged over A$400+ for one night's (non) stay. The shocking thing is that a few weeks after the original booked dates, a stealthy charge of another A$400+ (some random number) was made on my credit card. I called Acacia Chalet's number and a grumpy old man, who recognised my name immediately, proceeded to say he did not know me nor the fraudulent charge to my credit card. After much explaining on my part (while he went into the kitchen to make coffee) and him denying any erroneous charge, he said he would look into the matter. He emailed me the following day to advise that he had refunded the same amount to my card. Be warned, do not trust the management of this hotel. I read some of the reviews here, saw the bad reviews of the person in charge; I believe this to be the same person. I tried to give a review of this accommodation on hotels.com where I had originally booked it, but couldn't as I did not stay. I would give a ZERO rating if I could.

Fantastic time away hiking the region and returning each day to this superb chalet. Lot's of room for our group of ladies, kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook your meals. The outlook is serene and so quiet. We would love to visit again.

Chalets was clean and quite comfortable. The shower was the smallest I have ever been in. We were allocated Chalet 5, however there are no signs to tell you where that is !!!! Location is too far from all the Margaret River wineries and restaurants. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this is your place.

We had difficulty aligning the pictures and descriptions of our accommodation with the actual accommodation.A one bedroom self contained chalet, was actually a granny flat connected to the main house. No privacy, no dining area, unless you count 2 metal stools against a cutting bench. No outdoor verandah as promised, just 2 old chairs outside the faulty sliding door. A shower that a contortionist would find difficult to use. And all this for just under $250.00 per night. We are displeased. The postive was the white goods were modern.

I booked all the chalets out for my hens in which all the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was amazing with picture perfect views. The chalets were well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Definitely planning on coming back here for a quick get away.

We stayed in Chalet Number One (two bedrooms) for four nights, using it as a base to explore the Margaret River area. It has a perfect location, betweeen town and the beach. We loved the sparkling clean home, generous ensuite bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. The large back deck was perfect for relaxing and watching the ducks, rabbits, kangaroos and abundant birdlife. There were two of us, but plenty of space for two couples or a family of four.

This chalet was in a great location and worked really well for our group of three families. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids had plenty of room to play, and the utilities were all in good working order. The only drawback was the grass, which was dry and not in the best condition, but that’s to be expected in the middle of summer. Overall, it was a lovely stay and a great place for families to spend quality time together.
