Acacia Motor Lodge

This is the best room i have ever had in a small town motel. We had a deluxe 2 bedroom family room which was fantastic. The rooms were huge, beautifully clean and modern. There were lots of power points and usb charger points. Bob in reception was fantastic and very accommodating as we needed a downstairs room for an elder with not great mobility. I would 100% recommend the Acacia to anyone I know.

Excellent service. We arrived into town just before the restaurant was fling to close. Asked to put an order in. The meal was 100% affordable, excellent value, huge size and yummy. Alcohol cheap pricing. If I lived closer it would be my regular dining option. Rooms were large with a modern bathroom and plenty of water pressure. 💯💯💯💯💯

WARNING- BED BUGS When I awoke in the middle of the night to find the bed with about 50 bed bugs crawling all over where I was sleeping I was really horrified as I was on my own I didn’t know what to do so sat on a chair to wait until dawn so I could drive safely without kangaroos on the road. I called the reception at dawn to inform them and requested a refund. The owner said he could have moved me but I wasn’t going to sleep so just waited until dawn. The owner said I was just trying to create drama and that I was a very ordinary human being. No empathy just rude. Stay here at your own risk. I have had my luggage and car fumigated and treating the bites. I have video and photos. I was on the ground floor Room 5

Very clean, large room, comfy bed and great shower. Renovated bathroom with excellent toiletries provided. Quiet location with no highway noise.

A lovely place to stay. A friendly welcome on arrival to our spacious comfortable room. Lots of room to relax and space to park the car out front of the room. There’s a guest laundry free of charge - just supply your laundry detergent. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant - the food and service were both fantastic. The menu choices were great and it was so nice not to have to go out looking for somewhere to eat. We would definitely stay here again.

This is defintely the best place to stay in Parkes! Easy and efficient service on arrival. We had three rooms - all were superb! Clean, comfortable and well-priced. Ticks all the boxes ~ we'll be back. 😃

We found our stay here for 3 nights was good, the units are large, fresh and clean with a lovely updated bathroom. The first 2 nights were quiet, but when the workers arrived it did get nosier at night, talking and banging of doors and early morning starts, which was a disappointment. May I suggest a silica stopper on the doors inside and outside be installed.

Huge clean new .... was a pleasure to find such a high class place on my travels. Very welcoming and at a reasonable price! The restaurant attached was also amazing. The best Thai Chicken Curry and Crème Brûlé.

While it was a comfortable stay, for the price we expected a little more for the price. However for the single night we were comfortable. For a deluxe family room, additional $15 for a third person was a shock on the bill. Pros: comfortable room Free wifi Foxtel Cons: Dated Iron destroyed one of our business shirts Breakfast was limited Expensive for 3 people to stay in a family deluxe room We have paid less at other hotels with more inclusions.
