Academias Hotel, Autograph Collection

This was such a charming hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms were clean, modern and location was great. They give you a wonderful little welcome drink. We arrived in the morning, and our rooms were not ready, so we able to freshen up in the bathroom and have them hold our luggage while we explored. We had two rooms one had a slight view of the Parthenon unfortunately the other faced a building site. But heck you do not spend that much time in your room anyway. Breakfast at the hotel was good. All around would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

Stayed three nights and very much enjoyed this hotel. The shower has good pressure, bed is very comfortable and the AC was exceptionally cold - not much more is needed. As Titanium member an excellent breakfast was included. The location is convenient for seeing many of the sites. The roof top bar is great for a drink with a view of the Acropolis. We heard dinner was good but did not eat there ourselves. Service was friendly and efficient.

This hotel is a great option in Athens. It is very well located in Kolonaki and a short walk to everything in Plaka. The rooms are nice (clean, big bathrooms, modern conveniences) and the staff is very nice. But what makes this place so fantastic is its roof bar/restaurant. We only went there for drinks (food is japanese) but the view is spectacular. Expansive view of the Acropolis AND sunset. Also all ope-air. Everyone raves about the roof at the Hotel Bretagne - I went there, this is much much better. You cannot go wrong at this hotel.

We only spent one night at Academia Athens, but it was a great experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-appointed, with a spacious room and luxurious bathroom amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated how quiet and comfortable everything felt. This is one of the nicer areas of Athens, though we were a bit hesitant to walk around late at night. Still, it made for a restful and convenient final stop before our flight. We'd definitely stay again.

Very nice and helpful staff! Great location to shopping and local attractions. The room was very spacious. We had 3 people in our room with no issues other than the couch was not comfortable at all. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here next time I am in Athens!

Husband really wanted to stay at the Grande Bretagne, but I convinced him to try out this place. From the moment you arrive and sip that lovely welcome drink, you will feel like you are being taken care of by Greek family. Our room was outstanding, modern, super clean. Dinner at Nyx was fantastic. Location is ideal for exploring Athens. We later stayed at much more expensive resort in Athens and had such poor service, we kept comparing it to the warm welcome and hospitality we received at the Academias. We won't forget you! Thanks for a memorable stay that we will cherish forever.

The Academias Hotel in Athens is truly exceptional! The hotel is gorgeous, with spacious rooms and top-notch bathroom fixtures that exude luxury. The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us warmly every time we entered. A special shout-out to the doorman, Michalis, who ensured we had everything we needed for the day and gave fantastic recommendations that elevated our trip (Tamam in Crete fantastic). The welcome drink was the best we’ve ever had! The location is perfect, just steps from the Acropolis, Panathenaic Stadium, Plaka, and more, making sightseeing a breeze. We felt very, very safe walking to and from the hotel, whether in the morning or late at night. Highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The day we arrived in Athens we had an accident and someone in our group ended up in the hospital. The staff at this hotel was incredible - recommended the hospital, accommodated a wheelchair delivery, checked in constantly, booked us transport... They were genuinely so wonderful. A special shoutout to Mikealis and Sophie who went above and beyond. The hotel is also clean, centrally located, and rooms are very modern. Highly recommend staying here!!
