Academy Advertising Specialties & Awards has been my go to since day 1. I was able to customize the award and have it laser engraved with my company logo and personalized to gift to my team members. They always send a proof to confirm it reads as needed and production turn around is quick. If any issues arise they are quick to correct it (only happened once for me). Everyone is a pleasure to work with.

Thank you Asianna and team. They did the award in less than 24 hrs and its perfect. Plus they added our logo and spaced everything out super nice. It looks so good! Here's a photo of it in the plastic because I don't to get my fingers all over it. But even under the plastic you can see how good looking it is. And so last minute, they didn't even blink an eye. Like "yep, we can do that for you." Thank you!

We have used them for our awards and Team shirts for our boxing gym for years and we will continue to do our business here. Tried to use the company for a Christmas gift to a family member, they are NOT good. I was quoted that I could get customized work but would have to buy 10 sets because their manufacturer does NOT sell individual pieces. (I wanted a custom chess game and was told I would have to buy 10 games sets) 16 chess pieces x 10 sets = 10 chess games (160 games pieces). That's ludicrous!!! Be warned if you go, they do NOT do individual orders/pieces.

I have been ordering from this company for at least 5 years now ( still have a shirts from 5 years ago that look brand new . The letters or not cracking or pealing) and I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered ( even if something was damaged in shipping they will replace it). They are friendly and it is very easy to get things ordered. I sometimes have very large orders and it is always correct. I made a mistake and ordered from custom ink once and I still regret it took weeks to come in and much more expensive, not to mention all the mistakes they made. I will from now on only order from Academy Awards. I live 2 hours from the shop but I know and trust my orders will be correct, cheaper, better quality, and completed much sooner than others. Its worth making to drive. I absolute love this company. I appreciate all there hard work and dedication. Great customer service

I don't usually write reviews, but Academy Awards was excellent in helping me complete a professional project in a very short amount of time. I called them over and over as my design layout changed throughout the day, which let's face it, get's annoying. However, they were incredibly nice, polite, professional and delivered my product exactly how I needed it. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend their services.

OMG I was in need of shirts and hats for a family union I had in February my team and I waited to the last minute to decide to order. Academy advertising Speciality came through in the clutch shirts came out perfect hat did not come out perfect but they had redid all the hats for us within the hour and to be honest it was our fault, but I recommend this place to anybody if you need hats shirts or for any of your logo needs. Three words come to mind Cheap , Reliable, Quality

Been going to them for awards, Tees, and personalized items since 2000. Family oriented people who will work within your budget. Love the personalized service. Their the first business that comes to mind when people ask for a recommendation for trophies.

I've used this business serval times for trophies, shirts (T-shirts&Polos) and plaques. I've never had a problem and they are very helpful and polite people. I highly recommend using this company.

I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND ACADEMY ADVERTISING SPECIALTIES AND AWARDS 1) Placed an order on 10/9/13 for a company trophy to be remade (ours bent due to falling on ground) and did not hear from anyone at Academy for nearly two weeks when I called 2) When I expressed disappointment at the lack of communication and inquired about my trophy. I was told it would be another two weeks because they couldn't find a "like piece." 3) After two weeks of not being contacted I again called only to hear "oh, your trophy is ready." I showed up and not only was it not what I ordered, a metal plate was hanging off with two-sided sticky tape. 4) The owner (James?) walks in and asked me if how I was. I told him how awful the service and actual product were and he proceeded to tell me about how his company is the largest black owned company in Texas and one of the busiest in the country. Who gives a shit dude? I'm here for my company trophy which you guys can't seem to get right! 5) The said they would correct the issue and make me the same trophy I requested but when I followed up with a call a few days later the person said "I'm glad you called sir, we lost the plate from your old trophy and can't remember what it looked like. Do you have a picture of it?" Are you f*ing kidding me? These people are absolutely unprofessional and the quality of work in my experience is awful! I would never use or recommend them Academy Advertising. Stay away!

I would not recommend, I work for a very large organization in Houston, and this was my first and last time using this company. They lack professionalism and their inter-team communication is seriously lacking. I repeated myself multiple times via email, so it is in writing and can easily be referred back to. I felt like I made it clear, but they are more concerned about collecting payment than collecting information on the clients needs. There are multiple companies in Houston who do the same thing, so something as small as common sense, attention to detail, and customer service matters. I would not recommend this company, and I can assure no one in my department will use this company again.

Amazing service every time! I've been coming here for almost 15 years for all of my custom t shirt, employee gifts, and branding needs. ( I even once has a trophy made for my dad as a Father's Day gift!) Academy advertising is always very accommodating to all of my needs. I had an issue with a t shirt order and they remade the tshirts at no cost! The owner treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door. Now I will say, if you are rude and uppity don't expect that warm family feel. The owner is a smart and successful man and does not take kindly to those who are too busy for basic mannerisms. *ahem the reviewer below* Smile & treat the staff the way you would like to be treated and you will receive top-notch service that can't be beat!
