Extremely disrespectful and ignorant staff. My parents came to Berlin for a visit, they don’t speak english nor german. I do, so I went to the front desk to ask for information about one the exhibitions. I got away from the front desk to explain my parents who are on their 60’s about the exhibition, not even 30sec has passed and a guy that works there came down to complain that I was speaking too loud. I wasn’t but I said sorry and stop talking. My dad went to the toilet and we stayed there to wait. He came again and asked us to leave, even though we were not speaking. He was aggressive, rude, ironic and should not work in a place that claims to be welcoming for tourism. We were at the front desk, we were not in a exhibition nor in a library.

Nice spacious building for events and exhibitions. Even I been there for an exhibition which was good. Nice area for other tourists attractions. All I missed one this toilets in the basement and you have to pay for that which is such disturbing for the people who paid for exhibition or event and on top of that they have to pay for toilets 🤷‍♂️

Visited during Berlin Biennale. Airy, manageably large space with a geat view overlooking the Plaza and the Brandenburg gate in addition to awesome art pieces on exhibition.

Inside the office of Speer used to be located after the cafe! As you continue toward the end you will find a big white statue of Prometheus that was found hidden on the walls of the building. You don’t have to pay just to walk through.

I love this building. Modern and elegant. If you are there djring the long night of museums in september, they open their terrace with a gorgeous view on Pariserplatz 🥰

Staff was very helpful (front desk, gift shop, cafe, & security throughout). Viewed a free exhibition (I love public art). Great architecture within. Not crowded.

Such an interesting place, I visited the architecture department section and had the chance to see their collections. While the building itself has its own charm, but what they offer in their collections are actually the real deal.
