Acadia Yurts & Wellness Center

Our stay at Acadia Yurts was incredible! We enjoyed every thoughtful touch from the clean and well-appointed kitchen and bathroom (the hot water and adjustable shower pressure were amazing), comfy beds/linens, peaceful location, “extras” like spices and games available in the laundry hut, and chatting with Karen and Aaron throughout the week! We couldn’t have asked for a better week and strongly recommend a stay here!

We've stayed at Acadia three times and are looking forward to our fourth this summer. Our family of four (11yo & 7yo) fit comfortably in the smaller yurts. It has all the amenities we need. We buy our own lobsters and cook them in the yurt. We love the location. Close enough to zip over to Bar Harbor, but secluded to give you peace and quiet. Several trail heads are nearby. Most importantly for our kids is the proximity to Echo Lake for swimming. Lastly, I always do a float at the Wellness Center before we hit the road back to NY. Very relaxing.

If I could give them 1000 stars I would. The area is beautiful and tranquil, and the yurts provide a unique and comfortable experience in nature. They have honestly thought of EVERYTHING and if you forgot something, don't worry.. they probably have it. If it's not in the yurt, then it's in the laundry barn with things like spices, toiletries, GAMES, and cooking appliances like electric griddles! We're so excited that this is now one of our new yearly traditions!

We had a wonderful time during our stay in beautiful Acadia at Acadia Yurts and Spa. Our yurt was perfectly outfitted from the kitchen to the beds to the bathroom. The yurts provide the essence of camping with all the comforts of home. The hosts and staff at Acadia Yurts and Spa were wonderful and worked hard to make sure our stay was fabulous. Acadia Yurts is perfectly located for day trips throughout glorious Acadia National Park. I highly recommend Acadia Yurts for your stay!

I have had the pleasure of experiencing the infrared sauna many times and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s a beautiful and inviting space and I always feel so replenished and refreshed after a visit. It is always impeccably clean. Karen and Aaron are the absolute icing on the cake- you will never find a more lovely and down to earth couple that truly care about all who come through their doors!

We stayed in a yurt during our visit to Acadia NP and it was amazing! The yurt had everything we needed, was amazingly comfortable, and just outside of southwest harbor was away from the main park crowds but still super convenient. We will definitely be back!

I wish there was a way to give more 🌟 because I definitely would. This place is a little piece of heaven. I took advantage of the float tank and it was amazing. The owners are very helpful & friendly. The yurts offer everything you need for a peaceful stay. I can't wait to go back now. These places are cleaner than most hotels.

I started going to the wellness center for sauna. The sauna is awesome! After a few sauna sessions I leaned they also do massage. I booked an appointment. After the first massage with Erin I booked weekly appointments. I've had hundreds of massages but for me Erin is on another level. She is a gifted healer. I am totally relaxed within a few seconds and then I just beam in joy for the remainder of the massage. The owners are so kind and supportive. Everything is super clean and warm with healing vibrations in all the rooms
