We returned to the accra for the 10th time as a family and it was such an amazing trip. ||Pool and beach - was just as we remembered, beautiful and peaceful. we had Sunday lunch at the Accra and we strongly recommend. My daughter loved the grilled fish ||Location - is amazing as you are so close to everything. For those with young kids this is the ideal hotel. ||Staff - i am unsure about the negative views on the staff at the accra as they all was extremely friendly. Special mention to Cashe Rachel and Justin who was always at hand to help. And an extra special mention to Suresh as always he went above and beyond during our stay. ||For a family of 4 i strongly recommend. Thank you for helping us create amazing memories

Very tired and noisy , don’t come here.|I stayed at this hotel 27 years ago and I don’t think they spent much since . |The rooms need lots spending on it and my ocean view didn’t say I needed binoculars.| The first 3 days were so noisy full of children on sports trips and kept us up til after 2 am and waking us at 6am , do bring your ear protectors. | The water pressure in our room was almost none existent first 3 days and now flows like a trickle , I kept getting told maintenance looking at it . |I am now giving up complaining as it falls on dead ears and after trying to move hotels gave us little credit to do so . | I would say the only good thing about the hotel is it’s in Barbados , fortunately we only have breakfast but if you need things in a hurry go across the road . We stay out all day and just use to sleep , when we can . |All I can say don’t come here !

Out here for my daughters 16th birthday and I must say the hotel staff and the manager suresh have made her birthday so wonderfully special. I can not thank them enough!! |From check in Justin was a warm welcoming face a lovely room on split levels for our family of four , two teenage children my wife and myself. All the bar staff have been fabulous Kristen, silvester,Fabian shack and turtle to mention a few !! Also the restaurant staff and housekeepers have been welcoming and friendly throughout. |We are returning guests and we will continue to return, I really want to take this opportunity to thank suresh for the fantastic hospitality and service to make my daughter’s birthday one she will never forget.

Most horrible hotel I ever stayed at in all my travels. Got our room over an hour and a half late, after 4:30pm (Check-in is at 3pm), even though I requested an early check-in because we had an autistic child with us and he has to eat and take his meds and rest by certain times. When we finally got our rooms, the floor was dirty, hair was below the bathroom sink and the bathroom tap in one room was broken off. (We had two rooms). Hair dryer in one room was not working, safe in one room was locked and could not be opened. Staff didn't seem to care to help. Carpet in the main hallway was VERY nasty with trash and looked nasty. If you're going for the dark dungeon experience, then walk down the hallways of this hotel. Poorly lit. The only saving grace was the beach on which this hotel is located. Will NEVER be staying there again.

The location is great, rooms are clean, the lobby seems to be the happening spot with great music and ambience. It's a great welcoming entrance. Some things need updating in the room, they need lamps because either you get pure brightness with the lights on or pure darkness when you turn off with one switch. The pools need major work, it's dated, dirty and looked closed at night. They had no lighting and the swim up bar look closed all day but apparently they open till about 3 or 4 p.m?? Why so early?? The pool should usually be the happening spot in hotels like this. But it had no ambience, no music playing, no lighting and the waterfall wasn't working. The whole time I was there I thought the restaurant they had was closed because they weren't lit inside. I don't understand why they had the lights off in the restaurant. The welcoming staff should have let us know that they have a different Cuisine every night at the restaurant. Luckily they had a slew of restaurants across the street. I see that they're doing some sort of Renovations so hopefully the pool will be next.

The professionalism of the staff stood out from the time we checked in, and a high level of service continued right through the two days we were there. The drinks were very good, but the food was fantastic and varied. Room comforts, Internet access, and picturesque surroundings topped it off for us.

Accra is an amazing place to stay with stunning views. The location is great, with restaurants, shops and, of course the beach, within walking distance. The members of staff there were always friendly and so helpful. Suresh, the General Manager, made our stay one that we would never forget. Andrés and I will be back!

I booked a group event. The reviews from my clients were mixed and reflected in the rating I have given. They noted the staff was friendly and the location of the resort was great. All of the guests commented about the need for a remodel. The dated rooms and facilities are showing their sign of age. The feedback on the food was generally good. My main concern with Accra isn't the resort itself, it is the integrity of its management team and support staff. I brought a good bit of business to Accra (almost $10K for a 4 day stay) through the group bookings, however after 7 months of un-returned calls and emails to several individuals in their back office and management chain, I still have yet to be paid for my services. The lack of professionalism and integrity is beyond any other hotel or resort I have worked with over my 15 year career. I will never book another client's accommodations while in Barbados with Accra nor will I recommend them to anyone who asks. Their business practices are suspect and I would beware and be cautious about dealing with Accra. UPDATE: In July, I received payment for the business that I brought to Accra in November of 2024. A huge thanks to Mrs. Batson who got involved late in the process and worked tirelessly to ensure I was paid for my services. She was consistent, professional and kept her word. If it wasn't for her involvement, I believe I would still be waiting to be paid.
