We have stayed at this hotel a few times with both 3 generations of family and separately with friends.||It’s right on the long sandy beach with lots of sun beds. There’ a boardwalk which is a pleasant stroll with a few bars and places to eat.||The pool area is huge, with a large shallow area for kids. There’s also a smaller separate pool just for adults. Our grandkids, ages ranging from 2 up to 12, love the larger pool with the waterfall.||The buffet breakfast is good, as is the food at the pool bar. The grandkids loved the pancakes in the morning. They also catered especially well for one of the granddaughters that has a peanut allergy. It never became an issue or worry. ||On a few days, after spending all day on the beach and in the pool, they just had the food served at the pool bar then off to bed exhausted.||There is a happy hour starting at 4 in the afternoon, music and entertainment at the pool bar early evening, this was pleasant and the kids enjoyed dancing, when they weren’t too tired out!||The staff are friendly and helpful, in particular, Suresh the manager is frequently to be seen around all areas of the hotel chatting to guests and making sure that all is well.||Outside of the hotel, there is a good selection of places to eat and drink for a change of venue, within a few minutes walk. Pizza, an ice cream parlour, some local dishes and tapas restaurants were popular choices for our group.||We find the hotel to be comfortable and the location to work well for our family dynamic. ||We stayed at the hotel in November and are due back in a couple of weeks for a month. We will be joined by family for part of the time. Many of the guests are repeat visitors and come year after year. It’s nice to see familiar faces.

I own an upscale beach front hotel in Tofino B.C. Canada. I agree with all the negative comments. The hotel is located on beautiful beach and this is what they are trading on. The exterior pool areas are ok and probably considered very nice at the time the hotel was constructed. There is a newer wing, however the older rooms are less than 2 star, they have never had any upgrading, they are tiny and the bathrooms are simply awful. A tiny fridge sits exposed, front and centre in the room. There appears to be minimum maintenance anywhere. The halls, like the rooms, have low ceilings and are dirty. In our two days here, beer bottles were left, lying in the halls! The older part, the majority of the rooms, needs to be deconstructed and rebuilt to today's standards, renovating won't help. Finally, and very importantly, staff on the most part are not particularly friendly or helpful. My advice would be to check on your room and refuse to stay, if you are assigned any of the original rooms.

Caught in a sudden downpour on the beach near the Accra Hotel, we decided to seek shelter and wandered into the hotel’s beach bar. Although we weren’t staying there, I asked if we could enjoy a drink and some lunch. The barman was incredibly friendly and assured us it was no problem, happily welcoming us to pay by cash or card.||||We settled in and had a lovely experience. I opted for a fresh, delicious salad, while my friend enjoyed some perfectly cooked chips and a few drinks as we waited for the rain to clear. The staff were professional and courteous throughout, making us feel right at home.||||The hotel itself left a great impression—elegant and inviting. Based on this experience, I’d definitely recommend the Accra Hotel as a wonderful place to visit, whether for a meal, a drink, or perhaps even a stay!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. I used to come every year before the pandemic. I was so excited to come here but I am disappointed. The jacuzzi in my oceanfront room is out of order. The place looks run down. The swim up bar is closed. The staff are so unfriendly with the exception of a few. It almost feels like a ghost town. It’s absolutely boring at night. There is nothing to do here. The rooms are still dated. I do love that it is right on the ocean, which is stunning. The food is also good and there are kiosks near the hotel and some restaurants along the boardwalk. The location is great but this hotel has gone down. The staff used to welcome you with a rum punch while you checked in… it felt so welcoming. Now they give you a ticket to get your free drink at the bar. Out of 3 bars, only one is open. I’m now searching for a new hotel to go to in the future. I have another 4 nights here. Hopefully, i will enjoy the remainder of my trip. Managers and staff need to step up before it’s too late. I have an emotional connection to this place. I fell in love with Barbados here, but I think it’s time for a change.

The best thing about this hotel is location. It’s just perfect one! Room was fine. Was missing a water bottle actually and jacuzzi didn’t work that time!

Stayed there Christmas / New Year. Rooms could be updated a little. |Paying at the beach bar is kinda a pain in the bu##. When paying cash he has to run inside to get change. paying with CC you have to wait as well.||Like in every other hotel around the world, towel / beach chair hoarders early in the morning, then you don't see them half the day. The hotel should remove towels from chairs after a certain time.||But overall, great location, nice sunsets, convenient stores across the street / close by.

The staff are friendly, the food is great. Geat hotel for a family vacation, or a romantic couples getaway. Huge pool and the beach is right outside your door.|If you are celebrating a special occasion they know how to make it all about you.|One of my favorite hotels in Barbados!

Look at Buffet first as to what on offer as you pay £38 and it does not include everything. |I wanted French toast or pancakes but it was going to cost more as the offering of the day was Planting and spring rolls. I admit I'm complaining as I felt robbed, you could have other things my own fault for not checking So Don't Be Caught Out
