We camped at the campground on site and took the Upper Gauley trip during "Gauley Season". The trip was TOTALLY epic! Peter was our guide and I would totally recommend requesting him! We seemed to be hitting the best lines and we were the only boat on our trip that got all the paddles to touch the top of Pillow Rock! The facility was extremely impressive sporting 2 restaurants, excellent wifi facility wide, large gift shop, huge outdoor covered lounge area, as well as all kinds of excursions to choose from. All the staff seemed so friendly. Zack was supper cool as the overall trip guide. Definitely going back for sure!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable family adventure! We had an amazing time on our white water rafting trip! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, safe, and a ton of fun. Hutch, Ryan and the rest of the team were knowledgeable, upbeat, and made sure everyone—from the more adventurous to the cautious—felt comfortable and included. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the mix of thrilling rapids and calmer stretches gave us a perfect balance of excitement and time to enjoy the views. Great for families—our group ranged in age from 9-68 and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Our first white water rafting trip was an absolute blast, exceeding all expectations! From start to finish, the experience was incredibly well-organized and thoroughly enjoyable. A huge part of what made it so special were our exceptional guides. Their expertise and enthusiasm were infectious, immediately putting everyone at ease, even those of us who were a little nervous at first. Fox was our raft guide and his knowledge of the river was impressive and he ensured our safety while maximizing the thrill. Beyond the adrenaline rush, the trip was surprisingly informative. Fox and Tammy shared fascinating insights about the local ecology, geology, and history of the area. Our children (ages 7 and 8) absolutely loved it! Fox was fantastic with them, making sure they felt safe and engaged throughout the trip. He even taught them some fun facts about the river. It was a wonderful family bonding experience that we'll cherish forever. And let's not forget the lunch! We were treated to a delicious and satisfying meal. Overall, our white water rafting trip was an unforgettable adventure and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, educational, and memorable outdoor experience!

Had an amazing first experience rafting the Lower Gauley! These guys are a blast. Our guide was Nick R. and he gave us an awesome trip. We had a couple of inexperienced people in our group and he did an excellent job guiding us and the provided lunch was top notch and definitely exceeded expectations! The entire staff was friendly and entertaining and they definitely make sure you have the best experience. Highly recommend using Ace and request Nick as your guide!

ACE adventure park is a great place to go if you are looking for family adventure. Went with my wife and 18 and 21 year old sons. The highlight was the full day rafting trip. Great combination or rapids and floating in a beautiful setting. Also really enjoyed the half day zip line and half day climbing and repelling. The zip line trip had a great mix of zip lines and bridge walks. Climbing and repelling was more serious than we thought as novices but great challenging fun. Our guides were outstanding. Alisa for rafting maximized the safe fun and taught us the history of the river. Liz really helped us novice climbers succeed and (with the help of Davey and Cody) treated us to a fantastic zip lining experience. Our cabin was great. Although a little cramped for 4 people because we needed the sofa bed. But we enjoyed the hot tub and being able to cook burgers on the grill and toast marshmallows in the fire pit. An added bonus was the taco bar and trivia Tuesday night at the restaurant. The waterpark was fun but probably better for younger kids. The only disappointment was the frisbee golf course which was missing holes and hard to follow.

We went zip-lining a few weeks ago when we stayed at Ace Adventure Resort and it was excellent ! We've been fortunate enough to go zip-lining in many incredible places around the world, but this course has officially claimed the top spot as our all-time favorite! From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal. What truly set this trip apart was the incredible team of guides. A huge thank you to Levi, Mason, and Ryan, who were the perfect blend of entertaining, professional, and helpful. They kept us laughing and feeling comfortable the entire time, while their unwavering focus on safety was evident in everything they did. It allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the thrill of the ride and the stunning scenery. If you're considering a zip-lining adventure, look no further. We can't recommend this experience highly enough. It's a world-class course with a world-class crew!

We went white water rafting, Alina was our guide. Her knowledge of the river as well as her professionalism was top notch. She told us the history of the various sights all while taking us over some pretty awesome drops. We were able to surf some holes, swim some rapids, and had the best time. I cannot wait to go back!

Amazing time on the Gauley River on September 8. Our guide Kincaid was knowledgeable about the river and we always felt like we were in good hands. The Upper Gauley is an experience of a lifetime and, if you are able, you need to do it! Class 5 rapids were no joke, but so satisfying to be able to get through them. And, the occasional unsolicited swim in the drink was just as fun.
