Acevedos has become a regular in our rotation of take out dinner options these last few months. We've tried the burritos, tacos, quesadillas and keep coming back to these three dishes. The pork chile verde plate, chicken ranchero burrito and loaded crazy fries with lengua. It's super specific, but these three dishes have hit the right spot, so we're not going to mess with a good thing.
Pork chile verde is their well seasoned and tender pork with cilantro, onions and chile verde sauce and comes with rice, beans and tortillas. It seems so simple, but is really flavorful and fresh. The chicken ranchero burrito has rice, chicken, creamy sauce and crunchy grilled veggies that balance flavor and texture. Last but not least, the crazy fries are loaded with pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, sour cream, guacamole, and your choice of meat and salsa. It's a meal in itself, but we usually all share it.
Parking can be a little challenging depending on when you visit, but calling in and ordering a ahead makes it a quick stop to picking up dinner. I will try and take pictures of the burrito and fries on our next visit, but it's tough to remember sometimes when you know it's going to be delicious.
