This place is pretty good. Probably the best pour-over coffee I had in Madrid (not in Spain. See Nomad in Barcelona for that). I am quite surprised that this is a 4-star overall and not higher. Is this the best pour-over I have ever had? No, but it was good enough. The shop was nice and the woman working the counter was friendly. My wife had a good tea so all-in-all it was a lovely place to stop. Would go back.

I enjoyed my visit there. The coffee was excellent, with a unique selection like oat flat whites and matcha latte that stood out. The pastries, especially the cardamom buns, were delicious and fresh. The cozy, minimalist vibe made it a great spot to relax, though service can be hit or miss based on some feedback. Worth a visit for coffee enthusiasts

This is the best tasting espresso I’ve had since I’ve been in Europe traveling! They are an excellent specialty coffee shop. I also tried the cinnamon roll and enjoyed it but it was a little too crumbly and fell apart on me. I guess I’m used to more doughy type of cinnamon rolls but it was still delicious. The staff were excellent and extremely warm and friendly. The place inside doesn’t have any air conditioning so it’s a little warm on a really hot day but they do have fans to help move the air around. I’d highly recommend this spot and I hope I can come back before I leave.

Acid Café in Madrid was exactly the reset we needed after a long travel day. We ordered two flat whites and a cardamom bun—and honestly, wow. The coffee? Absolutely dialed in. While you won’t find dramatic latte art here, the flavor of their single origin espresso speaks for itself—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of cup that makes you stop mid-sip just to appreciate it. It’s a Nordic coffee, which makes it super unique. The cardamom bun was a knockout—warm, just the right amount of spice, soft with that slightly chewy pull you hope for. Paired with the flat white, it was the perfect way to shake off the jet lag fog. Vibe-wise, it’s got this cool, under-the-radar energy. Great music humming in the background, super talented barista working the machine like an artist, and genuinely kind service. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again and again.

Google
The best coffee experience in Spain we had so far, we took the iced latte which was delicious. We also tried the babka and chocolate viennoiserie - both very good as well. You have only indoor seating In summary: great coffee for aficionados as well as viennoiseries. I recommend !

It’s pricier than the standard options in Madrid, but both the coffee and the bread are well worth it.

Google
Had coffee and croissants. For some reason they don’t have Americano. They do have espresso and the regular coffee is filter/batch?. There is no WiFi and the data connectivity once you are in is pathetic. Drops to 3G and nothing works. So if you are seeking a coffee in “peace” come here. I wouldn’t go back- only because of the data issues.

Google
Coffee and pastries 10/10. Service is slow because of theres inly on person doing everything. I went twice and would still go again.

Yelp
Love this café! Came by here a few times a week for their rotating menu of pour over coffee, all of which were great. Their pastries are also great, with the cardamom roll and Berliner both standouts. Definitely a great place for a quick coffee and people watching, although Acid is marginally pricier than other coffeeshops in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Coffee bliss! The coffee here is legit! The chai, divine. We also had an amazing green tea. The homemade baked goods are divine. This is no ordinary spot! Take time to slow down, bring a book and savor some coffee! We loved Acid!!

Yelp
Nice coffee spot at a short walk from the Parque del Retiro. I had a good and refreshing Espress Tonic which is not that common in other places around Madrid.

Yelp
This is a new spot as I understand. The esthetics are just wow. Had a Cortado, not the best I had in Madrid but very smooth which is refreshing and different from the strong espresso I've come to appreciate. I have however had the perfect Rogaliki (a Ukrainian sweet) that is just the right amount of sweet. The owner is a young Argentinian fella that is just down to earth and super kind. Love it when I get to meet the people behind these lovely coffee houses.

Yelp
Visiting from Miami, Florida, there is a coffee shop on every corner. If you're in Madrid though and you want great coffee -I've never had coffee like this before- in a very comfortable environment where the owner greets you and allows you to make his shop your home, even if for a brief moment, then Acid is a must visit. The food is excellent as well.... I had a latte along with a granola bowl of berries and kefir.... and nothing disappointed! In our 5 days here, this is our 3rd visit here. I hope when you visit you enjoy it's much as we do!
