What an amazing place to spend a sunny Saturday. After a successful shopping trip in Portobello road market - a great way to start the evening. Lot's of different cultural foods, every one looking and smelling delicious, then cocktails listening to some amazing live music. Loved it. Will definitely recommend and return

Great atmosphere with nice live music. prices for drinks and foods are a bit high. Place is not so clean but it is worthed to spend some time at saturdays.

We went on the first day it opened back up. It’s was still cold and raining outside. But inside Great live bands, nice selection of beers and great venue under the Westway. It’s nicer on a hot day though but well worth it just to be away from touristy Portobello Road nearby.

Great venue and food market. Saw 3 superb bands and had a fantastic Afghan meal. Need to sort out the toilet situation.

Whenever I visit Portobello Market, I always find myself at this spot for a beer. The setup is brilliant—you can grab something from the many street food vendors nearby, then settle into a table at this under-the-bridge bar. Enjoy your meal while listening to live music from various local bands, all for free. No reservations needed—just good vibes and a fantastic concept. Well done, guys!

I can't believe I didn't find this place earlier! Really unique concept - drinks and live music in a super quirky and original space. You can bring your own food from the street stalls just outside. Definitely must stop here for a beer and lunch after a walk through Portobello market !

Yelp
We discovered Acklam Village Market on a Saturday on our visit to London when we were spending the day in Notting Hill and Portobello Market. Acklam Village Market is a street food market with some of the best street food in one place that I have ever seen. Not only do they have great food, there is a bar with a decent amount of seating. Like I said, we were there on a Saturday so the place was packed. I would definitely recommend arriving early and sharing with friends from a couple of the vendors. You are going to want to try everything and are going to have a very difficult time deciding what you want. We ultimately decided to split shawarma but it was so big we were too full to get anything else unfortunately. This market is totally legit and you will definitely want to visit it on your trip to London.

Yelp
The street food market at Acklam Village (fancy name for a bit of concrete wasteland under the Westway) has been back for a few weeks now. The fenced-off section is open at weekends only, but there are always some stalls to be found on Fridays too alongside the orange van selling proper Italian coffee from his VW camper. The selection ranges from more predictable Thai and Indian buffets to wraps from Venezuela or Jamaica. My favourites are the rice dishes from Afghanistan or Iran - delicious home cooking from countries I will probably never visit - and amongst the few not relying on deep frying. Apparently the music has returned to Bay 58!

Yelp
I had NO IDEA that Acklam Village Market even existed, and I was only here for a gin festival, celebrating World Gin Day 2016, but my god, it isn't half lively! Located on the intersection of Portobello Road and Acklam Road, it fuses in with the famous Portobello Road Market. However Acklam Road market has a sign, welcoming people to it and also indicating that it is indeed, a separate entity. There are mostly food stalls, ranging from food from Eastern Europe, to the middle East, to just a classic fish and chip stall. Literally, walking through will make your mouth water!! I instantly regretted eating before I came! The actual gin festival was located on the right hand side, underneath the A40 in what can only be described as a warehouse type place. You can tell it is used as an events space. I liked it however I think there needed to be more seats. I think that I would definitely come back here (when I'm not as tiddled) to soak in the atmosphere of both the Portobello Road market and Acklam Village market.

Yelp
I love this food market. At the bottom end of Portobello Market is this little gem. I've been here several times and always had amazing food from a large selection. My current favourite is Smoked.Portobello who have only been open for about 4 weeks. There's a small section of a mixture of tables and chairs and if you can find empty ones to eat your food you're lucky. Well worth it as it's an awesome brake from the craziness of Portobello Road.

Yelp
A really fun food market at the end of Portobello Road Market, this place has something for everyone. My personal faves are the Polish pierogi stall and the delicious Portuguese bakery stall. But you can find everything from BBQ to sushi to vegan stuff - it's a little different every time, with lots to try and most at reasonable prices.

Yelp
Living in West London and jealous of those hipsters in East London who are spoiled for food festivals, food markets, and other street food opportunities? This hidden gem just north of Portobello Road lets you get in on the fun without leaving the leafy and well-heeled West. Discover the latest in hipster facial hair trends, play "who wore it best" with demin shirt dresses, and build up energy for another round of fashion hunting in the Portobello Vintage Market just across the street. It's a dozen+ food stalls serving up fresh and delicious grub from a variety of cuisines. There's something for everyone in your group, and a great place to crash after fighting the crowds on Portobello Road. Don't expect to find a lot of seating or bathroom facilities. There are a couple chemical toilets at the far end of the Market. https://twitter.com/acklamvillage
