Aconcagua Hotel

This hotel has apparently 4 stars but it is no where near it. It starts with the outside view of the hotel, dirty and old. Then the parking, you park 2 floors down then have to walk two floors up. Real fun with two suitcases, going past a workshop, and the old and dirty look continues.||The rooms are smallish and in 80s style, dark and dreary and the table in the bathroom has just enough space for a toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast is also poor.||The only positive was the friendliness of the staff.||||If you are looking for a good 4 star hotel, this is not the one

We were perfectly satisfied with this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and in solid condition, it's at a convenient location, there's a nice lounge area, and the concierge is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us rent a car very easily that was pretty cheap. Overall, it's a perfectly good hotel with great service and an even better price.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the apartment with our 10 month old baby. It is in a good location near the shopping street. The rooms are a bit old and noisy but all in all clean and confortable. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is OK.

Very friendly reception. Rooms on 1st and 2nd floors cooler if hot days expected, lake views obviously nicer. Was one of the few places that the waiter served coffee instead of self-serve.||extra twin bed in room was nice to put suitcases on. ||Easy walk to best restaurants, waterfront, shopping. would stay there again if could get better rooms.

I would never recommend this hotel to someone,||||1. Our room faced the street and it was NOISY to the 9th degree. to make matters worse, our room was stuffy and hot and you could not open the window to air things out as the street noise was much worse then.||||2. The bathroom was the worst one I experienced for the whole month I was in the Patagonia regions of Argentina and Chile. The shower was unbelievably small, to the point you could hardly bend down to wash your feet. The shower curtain rod was installed about 8 inches wider than the sower area meaning the shower curtain hung outside of the shower stall. Water covered the bathroom floor when you showered. No toiletries were provided.||||3. The wi-fi was so slow and so intermittent that they might as well say they don't provide wi-fi. I tried connecting from the front lobby and restaurant area with no success either...and it was like this at any time of the day.||||Breakfast was adequate with good service and the front lobby was friendly. The hotel is also located centrally within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, shopping and other services.

WC clogged, bad service, unwilling to help. Mediocre breakfast. Nice location and parking

Need some renovation, however very friendly and nice. Plenty of space in rooms.||Brawbacks - unconvinient pillows, breakfast is so-so, heaters have no regulation (however it can be compensated with open windows easily). No bath accessories. Free speedy wifi internet.

We stayed 3 nights at Aconcagua hotel , |Our room was terrible ... bathroom was the worst ....ho. my god ... mattress is terribble ... my back was broken !|Lobby lounge is ok ...|Good things about it is the staffs at the reception and the staffs at breakfast . ||
