ACOYA Curacao Resort, Villas & Spa

The first thing that shocked me about the deluxe bedroom is that as you opened the door the bed was right there and there was no proper privacy in terms of curtains. Not everyone would be comfortable with that even though it is considered safe on the resort. Also the plumbing was a serious issue as the bathroom was on draining on the first night nor the sink. There was an actual pool around my feet after showering and the person after had to go to another apartment to shower. Also I think for the welcome drink we could have had the option of alcoholic or non alcoholic, considering the price we are paying to stay. The table which was outside the deluxe room was also dirty with bird mess, on top and below, and upon wiping it seemed as though it had not been cleaned for quite some time. The lighting in the deluxe rooms (both bathroom and bedroom) are also horrible, while I get that a mood is trying to be set, however, for that size of room it is dark, and made applying makeup difficult. |All in all while these are all things I hope can be fixed, the scenery and ambiance of the resort is really very nice. The food at the restaurant is amazing and the service amidst all the issues we had was exceptional. I made the most of my time there and I truly did enjoy the experience.

First of all, the room smelled like sewage. The bed is not comfortable. Our shower didn’t work so we had to switch rooms. Reception told us this was a known problem so we were confused as to why they gave us the room… We waited over an hour for our new room, with no compensation. Not even a free drink at the bar. We found that appalling. Our new room still smelt and there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when we showered. Told this to reception and they didn’t seem to care. The pool is good and some of the staff were really nice. Car rental service was great

Very clean,staff friendly, Sunil (tour advisor) gave us great advice to navigate around the island and to chose fantastic activities. Perfect resort if you're looking for a quiet place to explore the island. I would not recommend if you're looking for activities at the resort.

The resort was an well rounded and amazing place to stay. Comfy rooms, quiet, tasty food and amazing service. Light shows and live entertainment were top tier as well.||The villa I stayed in comfortably fit 4 people and came with all the amenities. I couldn't ask for more.

The place was very nice and clean, the staff was very nice and the manager was very friendly and helpful during our entire stay. The resort was very beautiful and the environment was relaxing. I would definitely return in the future, worth every coin!

My husband, son and I visited Acoya October 15-22. Our vacation was fantastic. The resort was great and the staff from the front desk to the bar staff (Danny, Jeffery and Nora) were amazing. We’ve been to curaçao twice before and stayed at vrbo, we decided to change it up this time. The shuttle services provided to Mambo beach, Willemstad and the grocery store were a great bonus. ||We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom with a plunge pool Villa. The villa’s have 3 bedrooms and depending on the amount of rooms you book rooms are blocked off. So in our case we booked 2 bedrooms, one of the 3 bedrooms was locked up. It had a full size kitchen and mostly equipped (it was missing a frying pan). Air conditioner worked great. ||I did have a few issues that I will discuss with management directly. ||I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting a vacation to Curaçao.

Acoya Resort, Villas, and Spa Curaçao is an unforgettable experience! I spent New Year’s here, and it was magical from start to finish. The resort’s stunning fountain adds such charm to the atmosphere, and the accommodations were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The food was excellent – every meal was a delight – and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and cared for. The live entertainment was top-notch, making evenings even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough for a perfect getaway!

A very nice hotel. Luxury rooms, clean and nice staff. You can park your car near your room or appartment. Rates at the bar are the same as in bars, so ok.|I recommend: take for lunch the striptease Hamburger. Comes with French fries and sauces.|During my stay there were not so many guests, so beds at swimming pool were always available 🙂. I have no recommendations for Dinner we always went outside for dinner. Same for breakfast. We took that at the office.
