Obsessed with this place. It’s is my go to Italian spot in Tulum. I tried the fettuccine con salmon today and it was excellent. In the past I’ve tried the fettuccine mushroom, fettuccine shrimp which are also great. And the tiramisu is FANTASTIC!!! The place is super cute and small and vibey and staff are wonderful!

Love this spot. It was based on a recommendation from the staff of the hotel i was staying at. She told me to try this Italian restaurant, amazing 👏. The carbona was authentic Italian dish.

I had a delightful meal at Acqua & Farina. The spinach-ricotta stuffed ravioli was scrumptious — so much so that I didn’t even take a picture because I tore into it rather quickly. The restaurant itself resembled a little Italian bistro. The music contributed to a lovely atmosphere, and the waiters were attentive and friendly without being overbearing, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.

Acqua e Farina in Tulum, Mexico, is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. The menu is a culinary masterpiece, featuring a rich variety of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs. For those with food allergies, particularly gluten and dairy, Acqua e Farina is a haven. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating, ensuring that every guest’s dietary requirements are meticulously taken care of. They offer an impressive selection of gluten-free and dairy-free options that does not compromise on flavor or quality. Whether you’re enjoying a fresh, vibrant salad, a sumptuous entrée, or a decadent dessert, you can dine with confidence, knowing that your food is prepared with utmost care. The owner is also the waiter and he’s delightful. He also gave us extra special attention because of our food related issues and let us sample a lemon cello! Superb!

I’ve lived in Tulum the past 3 years and I am in awe that I haven’t dined here sooner. This is hands down the best Italian Restaurant in Tulum. The ambiance, the wait service, and the food was outstanding. I recommend closing your meal off with the Tiramisu. I will be coming here religiously.

If I was living in Tulum, I’d be a regular visitor here. The pasta tasted fresh, it was well seasoned and absolutely delicious. For anyone who always craves good Italian food like me, I would highly recommend Acqua & Farina! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Price was not bad and portion was good!

We found this nice restaurant on our last day. The pastas were amazing. I ordered Ravioli, and it was the best Ravioli I've ever had in Mexico and the Tiramisu too! I wish we had found this restaurant earlier.

Yelp
My husband and do we're so excited to try an Italian spot that got good reviews, sadly this place did not impress. I had to jump on Yelp, which I never do. The spot is off the main strip which we liked, it's small which we liked also, but the food was sub par. We ordered the burrata which was ok. Probably better than our entrees. The glass of wine was poured as a half glass. My husband had fettuccine with porchini, looked good but needed salt, pasta was under cooked and the dish was greasy. I had the risotto and when it was placed in front of me, I knew I was not going to be happy. The risotto was NOT in a cheese sauce it looked like tomato sauce, to be honest I took one bite and could not do more. It was the worst risotto I have ever had. The owner came over once we paid and asked if we liked the risotto because the plate was full, and when we told him it was hard, he just said ok. Not a sorry or discount. Our bill was $140!!! For bad food. I recommend going else.

Yelp
An authentic Italian restaurant in Tulum? Why not! Tulum is home of many Italians and I had the chance to discover this tiny restaurant full of Italian flavours! The place is limited, but you'll get homemade pastas with delicious sauces. I would recommend it for sure if you feel like having a break on Mexican food!

Yelp
I hate to be the person to bring the rating down but I was very unimpressed with this place. My partner and I got two of the recommended pasta dishes. He had the carbonara and it was pretty good, I had the Gricia and the pasta was undercooked. Not Al dente. Just very undercooked. I couldn't bring myself to send it back so I just bit my tongue and crunched on it. The sauce was decent but I could make better at home, which is usually is my gauge for a restaurants Yelp rating. I wouldn't recommend Acqua e Farina.

Yelp
I'm in Tulum for a month and this is the Best Italian place in Tulum!!! Omg I would literally just come here the whole time I'm here. Everything we had and the service was amazing. The owner Mario is very hard working and you could tell he loves what he does. Our server (Eugenio Homa) was also really nice. I have nothing bad to say about this place if I could rate it 1000 stars I would. As a matter of fact best food I have had so far. Loveddddddd this place!!!!!

Yelp
This gem is absolutely fantastic. Its right on the corner of Satellite. You quickly forget you are in Mexico as the flavors of the food transport you back to Italy. The food is just as good as Italy if not better. Ironically enough all the local Italians hang out so it truly feels like a tiny little bistro in Rome. We dined here twice and the prices are very reasonable. Small seating limited to about 25 seats so come early.
