Acropole Delphi City Hotel

The most amazing views of the mountains & itea. I stayed for two nights in September 2025, it is a short walk to the main archeological site with good amenities.||The WiFi was ok, not many plug sockets but they have an extension lead. Fridge, aircon & TV. Balcony was beautiful.||The bathroom is fairly small and is more of a wet room as there is no shower guard so the water goes everywhere.||Breakfast is lovely with lots of warm pastries, fruit, salad, cheese, meats, condiments, juice & hot drinks.||The bed was comfy & the room clean, plus it had a hairdryer. It is quite noisy as you can hear people walking around & people in other rooms. ||Overall a lovely stay.

If you go here make sure to book a room overlooking the valley. The view is magnificent. Other than that: The rooms are a bit dated, yes, but does it really matter? It's a cute, family run hotel, and in my view the dated look adds character. For those taken aback by the breakfast reviews: true, the bread and such is quite simple (it tends to be generally in Greece tbh) but instead go for the Greek yoghurt and honey, the feta and veggies. These ingredients clearly are locally sourced and top notch.

The hotel has a nice view from the room, but the staff don’t speak English very well. One of the men was even rude (maybe because his English is poor, but he doesn’t even make the effort to smile). The fridge in the room was empty — not even a bottle of water — and you always have to go beg at the front desk, which is supposedly open 24/7, but in practice, there’s often nobody there, especially between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Honestly, better to avoid!

I've been traveling for over 40 years and to as many countries. This hotel is not going to be memorable for being the best in it's class or the worst. The room is dated with limited space which is typical for a hotel of this class. I had a street-side room and could hear a phone call from my neighboring room early in the morning. There was a fridge and enough electrical outlets for my needs. The major drawback is the shower. I'm fortunate not to be a large person (5'1", 120lbs) because the shower is made for someone much smaller than me. The service was adequate, although I don't like having staff walking back and forth through the dining room at breakfast looking like they are making sure we eat everything on our plates. Speaking of the continental breakfast, find other outlets for your morning sustenance. The filter coffee is undrinkable. The whole wheat? rye? bread was old and dry. Other comestibles were suspect. The location is unbeatable though. Great views if you have a valley facing room, which I did not.

Our room was pretty small and unfortunately was on the street side not the side with the great views. Clean and comfortable though. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff friendly.

A fairly basic hotel right in the middle of Delphi - perfect location on the slightly lower street (so no bus noise). Breakfast was simple and plentiful. |Easy to walk to the Temple and the Museum and a good selection of local restaurants.|Tip: definitely book the rooms with the views (simply amazing morning views and peaceful).

Unfortunately, my stay was far below expectations. Our room was located on the -2 level, with very poor sound insulation and noisy beds that made it difficult to sleep. Noise from the upper floor was constant, and to top it off, there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

Excellent experience. Note the hotel was 4 buildings more down the road than shown in Google maps. The staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and the balcony view was amazing! Breakfast was good and we were able to leave our bags with the front desk for the day.
