Acros Fukuoka Building, a Japanese eco-friendly building, is a multi-cultural center. The meaning of Acros is a coined word meaning Asian Cross-Road of Over the Sead, symbolizing Fukuoka as a gateway to Asia. Designed by E milio Ambasz & Associates and built in 1995, the building has 14 floors above ground, 4 floors underground, and is 60m high. This building has a terraced structure that creates a natural green park and garden. As can be seen from the exterior and surrounding environment of Acros Fukuoka Building, this building can be said to be an eco-friendly building that includes natural green. The interior space consists of an international conference hall, Fukuoka Prefecture Passport Center, an information center for tourism products and international exchange, a cultural center, restaurants, a shopping mall, a symphony hall, an atrium, etc.
