In terms of Architecture, This is the great sustainable design. This roof serve the tree instead of old park at this site, and they still have good maintenance the environment.

The building in the Step Garden adjacent to Tenjin Central Park is Across Fukuoka. This place, which can be called an urban oasis, is a hub for international, cultural, and information exchange. Expanded from 2 underground floors to 13 above-ground floors, it is equipped with various functions such as a symphony hall, event hall, international conference hall, prefectural passport center, offices, restaurants, and shops.

ACROS Fukuoka is an architectural marvel and a must-visit in Fukuoka City. Its unique stepped green terraces blend seamlessly with the surrounding urban landscape, offering a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city center. The interior spaces are modern and well-maintained, perfect for exhibitions, conferences, and cultural events. The rooftop garden provides stunning panoramic views of the city skyline and is a great spot for relaxation. Whether you're a tourist exploring Fukuoka or a local looking for a serene escape, ACROS Fukuoka promises a memorable experience. Highly recommended! but note its not a tourist attraction

My review only focuses on the outside area of the building. The beauty of this building is that they made one of the side like a hiking path with lots of trees and cute animal lighting. If you follow the path, you will reach the top of the building on 14 floor. From there, you can have a good view of the Fukuoka city. Please note that they only open the top floor on Sat, Sun and public holidays.

Acros Fukuoka Building, a Japanese eco-friendly building, is a multi-cultural center. The meaning of Acros is a coined word meaning Asian Cross-Road of Over the Sead, symbolizing Fukuoka as a gateway to Asia. Designed by E milio Ambasz & Associates and built in 1995, the building has 14 floors above ground, 4 floors underground, and is 60m high. This building has a terraced structure that creates a natural green park and garden. As can be seen from the exterior and surrounding environment of Acros Fukuoka Building, this building can be said to be an eco-friendly building that includes natural green. The interior space consists of an international conference hall, Fukuoka Prefecture Passport Center, an information center for tourism products and international exchange, a cultural center, restaurants, a shopping mall, a symphony hall, an atrium, etc.

Beautiful architecture! Reminds me of The Forum in Tokyo, but a little smaller. The trees and plants growing on the outside of the building give it a unique look. There's history to the restaurants here, Chappo on the ground floor has been here since the 1960's. Inside you'll find little stores and restaurants. As you keep going up the elevator floors you'll notice there are a bunch of offices, all different and all very modern in feel. They have a cultural gallery with a coffee lounge. And you can find a Nursing Room here too, just head towards the Seminar Room and go up the stairs. Great place to explore and take shelter from the summer heat or if it's raining. I was surprised to see a YAMAHA store and a Georgio Armani shop. If you're craving ice cream, go down to the basement level and you'll find a treat.

This is one of the coolest building I've ever seen. There is lots of things to see here. The inside as well as outside of the building is beautiful. This building is connected with tenjin metro station. There is shopping malls, restaurants, and theater. There is section where there is meeting rooms and lots of office of several companies.

Yelp
What a beautiful building design and located in a great area. We came a bit too early to see the restaurants downstairs and the stores (which looked interesting from the windows). However there was a lovely pottery sale in the lobby with several Kumamoto artists displaying their work. They had a good listing of concert activities, unfortunately nothing that fit our tight schedule, but we will be back to check out a concert soon. The park in the back is perfect for the music and food fest they had going on. The architecture is definitely worth admiring, from afar you almost can't tell it's a building with the strategically placed plants and from the side it has a beautiful staircase cascade. On the back of the building there's a coffee shop encased with a beautiful flowing waterfall from the second story. I was a bit disappointed they closed off the outside garden walkway because walking through those plants must be an awesome view.

Yelp
We took advantage of the event. The installation and multi-purpose hall and cultural tourism information Square. Huge atrium is a feature that is full of sense of openness.

Yelp
Beautiful place, especially from the outside where you can see trees growing on the building like a forest. You can find many good restaurants at the B2 floor. It's connected to the underground path leading to the subway. You can find some shops and see concerts in the concert hall.
