This beautiful boutique hotel is a hidden gem for sure when you walk into the courtyard you immediately feel like you’re in a special place. There are only 11 rooms so it’s very unique. The building is older than the Cathedral just nearby. According to the owner, Josephine’s, the building was a total wreck. She transformed it into this beautiful hotel that she is very proud of. The rooms are decorated in a very modern style from the furniture to the neon art on the walls. The ceiling in our room was painted by Josephina in a splatter type style but with care. It was lovely. The breakfast was amazing. You choose 3 things from the menu and all were absolutely delicious. Josephina recommend 2 fantastic restaurants within walking distance. She is very fun and pleasant to talk with. Highly recommended this wonderful stay in such a beautiful place. Ragusa is amazing.

This is a magical place. There is so much attention to detail but it isn’t fussy. The building is beautiful, the rooms are immaculate and well thought out. This place is so special in part because of the modern art sprinkled throughout the hotel. The included breakfast was considered, delicious, made in house and full of love; truly like a fine dining breakfast service full of heart. The staff are open and friendly with lots of good recommendations for within Ragusa and around Sicily. The owner is the rare breed of passion and heart and shrewd vision. If you want a place to stay that is both comfortable, elevating and inspiring this is the place for you. Also, our room, Donna Teresa, opens right onto the piazza with a view of the duomo and sits adjacent to the hotel’s private living room, an airy sophisticated place to read, play cards or finish the night.

This hotel was in the perfect location near all the shops and famous restaurants. It was super clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality. I would recommend this place. Also we stayed in the Donna Teresa room which was gorgeous. I would also recommend just parking in the closest paid parking lot as they suggested. It was actually really easy to get to. We just walked through the garden and the gate opens up to the lot. Maybe don’t drop off your luggage in front of the hotel if you are nervous about driving. We were ok though even though our car was medium size SUV.

A beautifully designed hotel in the heart of Ragusa in front of the duomo. The breakfast is more than great and an incredibly tasteful experience of local food. But the most important part is the marvelous and hearty staff! Everything was beyond my expectations. Do not miss out when somewhere near. Big recommendation!

This place is absolutely amazing. Only hotel on our two week trip to communicate parking situation although ZTLs are common in Sicily. Made the arrival much less stressful. Check in was pretty easy.. room was gorgeous.. clean and spacious. Centrally located.. service was amazing. Breakfast is interesting and local. Totally made our trip to Ragusa really memorable. If you are looking for a luxury stay in Ragusa, this place is it!

Very good value for money. The hotell has the best location in Ragusa right in the center square. Room were large with nice design and having good shower products. Breakfast was al la carte and of high quality and very nicely presented. For the nightly rate it is a find.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Gorgeous setting. Fast WiFi for when I had to remote work. Quiet and lovely sleep. Kind and helpful staff. Insane delicious breakfast. The shower had the perfect water pressure and I love those Ortigia Sicilia products!! Ahhh I wish I had stayed longer. It’s really everything you could ask for.
