ADA contemporary art gallery

A serene space that host some very amazing works of art. This gallery has an inviting atmosphere that makes you enjoy the artworks. Each exhibition has a unique story to tell, wach worth listening. You get the wonderful experience to absorb each work with your own interpretation. This place is definitely worth visiting. You will enjoy it. P.S book an appointment before the time you plan to visit.

Brilliant exhibition. The gallery is really small, I am not sure why I thought it would be bigger. Also, you can only visit by booking an appointment, this is done by sending an email. You won’t be allowed into the gallery without an appointment booked.

The art exhibitions are displayed for a couple weeks so there’s something new to see almost every time you visit. Very nice gallery in the city. Not very big but it’s beautiful. The staff are welcoming and available to share details or answer any questions.

Tiny cute art gallery located in villagio. Firstly , I was impressed with how right the security was at the entrance , it gives a safety feeling. However do not have much expectations whilst hearing "art gallery" because for those who are into art may think it's a huge filled place, no. You'll like the cleanliness and once inside after few steps, you'd have seen almost everything. Brightness and simplicity are my impressions making the place a must try.

Although this was my first time actually walking into the space, I liked how freeing the experience felt. Being able to just appreciate a piece and decide its meaning without having someone explain it to you is greatly appreciated. It’s also a great place to get a few photos if you please.

The only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is for the size of the gallery. It’s very small, so I would recommend visiting if you’re already near the area. Otherwise, the quality of work was great and the staff, Henrika, was very helpful and informative about the exhibition and the artist. You can easily take in all the works in about 15 minutes, but if you prefer to gaze and study, you can definitely stay much longer. The gallery is free to visit.

The ADA/Accra contemporary art gallery holds exhibitions periodically featuring works of both Ghana and non Ghanaian artists. It location at Villagio makes it easily accessible. If you prefer to see it on a weekend it’s best to go on a Saturday as they don’t open on Sundays.

The gallery was very easy to find and get to. The presentation of the exhibition I saw afforded a very enjoyable viewing experience and I felt the various artists and their works really worked well together. The individual working was helpful, kind, and able to answer my questions. My only wish was that the space was larger, but maybe that's just me wanting more of what they are doing.
