I stayed at Adabco Boutique Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and had a really pleasant experience. The location is very strategic, close to a bus stop, which made it easy to get around Adelaide. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and I really liked that they have shared kitchens on Level 2 and 3, which are great for cooking or reheating food. There are also vending machines on every floor, so it’s super convenient if you want to grab snacks or drinks. The room was spacious, and I also appreciate that this is a pet-friendly hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. The only small issue was that on my first day, the elevator was not working, and there was no toothbrush provided in the room, but these were not big problems for me. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

Room with two queens was extremely small. Insanely cramped toilet (basically campervan size) but only a bit bigger. Furnishing is dated, thin coats of dust in a fresh room. Some issues regarding fresh herbs in the communal kitchen (misleading as stickers said there were herbs growing for plucking on the balcony). Not too dirty of a hotel, effort can be seen maintaining it, but it’s just too old to do anything. Service was good, no comments. Not too far from the City, a good 10-15 minute walk or a 5-minute drive will get you to many more establishments and eateries. Unreasonably expensive for small rooms. Better hotels nearby.

Not sure how this hotel is called “boutique” or is a “4-star”. Only reason I stayed at this place was because it accommodated pet. I saw one of the review that was posted 10 months ago where someone had mentioned that the lift here doesn’t work and FYI, it’s still the same. I was on the third floor, without a lift, had to use stairs with a fractured ankle and a dog. I asked for a dental kit and I was advised that it would cost $3. Never even in a 3-star hotel, I have faced that situation. The rooms are old and have worn off. The fact that this hotel is part of Accor Group, surprises me. Disappointing with the service.

The hotel is well located. It is within easy walking distance from many interesting restauarants and pubs as well as a other tourist attractions. After a short styroll to Victoria Square you can hop on a free tram to take you to the State Library, the Art Gallery, the Adelaide Oval or Rundle Mall.||||One afternoon I was strolling back from an outing and I heard the strains of organ music as I passed by St Francis Xaviour Cathedral. I love organ music. They don't enquire if you're a Roman Catholic (I'm not), so I went in and listened to the organist rehearsing. I sat near the sixth staion of the cross and saw the kindness of St Veronica. It was peaceful in there and it relaxed me. ||||At the hotel I liked the sitting room with its comfortable Chesterfields and books. You can ask for drinks although there is no bar. The staff are courteous and quickly respond to requests. It was nicer than the larger chain hotels. ||I would be happy to return.

Good pet friendly accommodation in CBD. Beware of hidden costs using your credit card. Parking on street has to be paid for no other good options. Some reception staff helpful.

What a “boutique” experience… if you enjoy sleeping under a leaky air conditioner. Where do I even start? The aircon in our room clearly hadn’t worked properly since the early 2000s. It was dripping down the wall, onto the side table, and flicking onto the bed and me while I tried to sleep — super relaxing, 10/10 spa experience. Eventually, the water pooled on the floor, and when we told staff, they sent maintenance. He opened the unit, and surprise surprise — the filters were caked in dust so thick it could’ve been used as insulation. Apparently, cleaning them wasn’t part of the plan though, because the “fix” we were offered was… a towel. Yep, just throw a towel down and pretend it’s fine. Problem solved! The room also had a charming aroma — like a 90-year-old carpet that’s survived a few world wars. The windows had about 5mm of dust built up, and the shower had a healthy layer of yellow scum. So either the cleaners are on holiday, or they’ve gone blind. We politely asked if there was any kind of compensation for our nightly water feature, and the manager offered us… a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we don’t drink, and apparently that was the full extent of their customer service toolbox, because we never heard from them again. All in all, if you’re into dirty rooms, dripping ceilings, and zero accountability, Adabco Boutique Hotel might just be your dream stay. Otherwise, save yourself the headache (and the mildew) — we definitely won’t be back.

I had a great stay here compared to most hotels where the room is spacious and there's a big window with sunlight coming through and they provide welcome snacks and water for free which is rare these days unless you stay at a 5 star hotel. I was happy with the friendly customer service and allowing to store my luggage before check in and after check out. What could be improved is a sign as soon as the lift was being fixed as I didn't know the lift wasn't working when I was waiting for it on level 3. The room tends to be stuffy when the air con isn't on and brings a stuff smell. Windows need to be opened if it would open. The hotel card is quite fiddly and takes a while to unlock, they need to replace with better cards and door signal. In saying that, I would stay again as it was a good experience overall compared to other hotels I stayed in. It's not far from IGA groceries and bus stops plus there's a shared area to cook your food.

We had a great stay at Adabco Boutique Hotel. The room was mid-century-esque, stylish, and perfect for working remotely— great desk, stable Wi-Fi, and lots of natural light. Quiet location but right in the city. Loved the heritage charm with modern touches. Would definitely stay again!
