The hotel is well located. It is within easy walking distance from many interesting restauarants and pubs as well as a other tourist attractions. After a short styroll to Victoria Square you can hop on a free tram to take you to the State Library, the Art Gallery, the Adelaide Oval or Rundle Mall.||||One afternoon I was strolling back from an outing and I heard the strains of organ music as I passed by St Francis Xaviour Cathedral. I love organ music. They don't enquire if you're a Roman Catholic (I'm not), so I went in and listened to the organist rehearsing. I sat near the sixth staion of the cross and saw the kindness of St Veronica. It was peaceful in there and it relaxed me. ||||At the hotel I liked the sitting room with its comfortable Chesterfields and books. You can ask for drinks although there is no bar. The staff are courteous and quickly respond to requests. It was nicer than the larger chain hotels. ||I would be happy to return.

Confusing accomodation, something in between a hostel and hotel. Shared kitchen facilities and nice common areas to use with plenty of space. ||The rooms are tired and lots of wear and tear. This building has potential but it has been left to become run down now, you can tell things are on the cheap and property management doesn't really care.||Carpet and blinds in the room have seen better days. The first few times I stayed at this "hotel" the beds were luxurious, soft and comfortable. They seem to be have been switched out with budget, firm hard beds and are not comfortable. Once again, a sign of the cheap creeping in.||Reception was too hands off, not sure why they bother staffing anyone if calling reception means it goes to a remote reception team, even though there are supposedly reception staff onsite. Got a note under the door saying they're reducing reception hours even further to practically business hours now.||Suggest to contact the hotel in advance if you are arriving outside of business hours so you can understand how to check in. It's all hands off and remotely arranged.||Bathroom was dirty. No one at reception mentioned that room servicing is not a daily occurrence, despite the fact that I spoke to the housekeeper who was standing outside my room and I said "Thank you for cleaning our room today" and yet it never ended up being cleaned at all.||Blinds falling apart, tv didn't work properly, dust everywhere, the room felt dirty, carpeting lifting in patches, furniture well worn. You have to jump up on the desk to close the blinds appropriately.||Take earplugs with you if you're a light sleeper and staying Friday and/or Saturday night. ||Advice: Only stay here if you are staying with groups of people to make it affordable for everyone, otherwise don't bother.

We had a great stay at Adabco Boutique Hotel. The room was mid-century-esque, stylish, and perfect for working remotely— great desk, stable Wi-Fi, and lots of natural light. Quiet location but right in the city. Loved the heritage charm with modern touches. Would definitely stay again!

What a “boutique” experience… if you enjoy sleeping under a leaky air conditioner. Where do I even start? The aircon in our room clearly hadn’t worked properly since the early 2000s. It was dripping down the wall, onto the side table, and flicking onto the bed and me while I tried to sleep — super relaxing, 10/10 spa experience. Eventually, the water pooled on the floor, and when we told staff, they sent maintenance. He opened the unit, and surprise surprise — the filters were caked in dust so thick it could’ve been used as insulation. Apparently, cleaning them wasn’t part of the plan though, because the “fix” we were offered was… a towel. Yep, just throw a towel down and pretend it’s fine. Problem solved! The room also had a charming aroma — like a 90-year-old carpet that’s survived a few world wars. The windows had about 5mm of dust built up, and the shower had a healthy layer of yellow scum. So either the cleaners are on holiday, or they’ve gone blind. We politely asked if there was any kind of compensation for our nightly water feature, and the manager offered us… a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we don’t drink, and apparently that was the full extent of their customer service toolbox, because we never heard from them again. All in all, if you’re into dirty rooms, dripping ceilings, and zero accountability, Adabco Boutique Hotel might just be your dream stay. Otherwise, save yourself the headache (and the mildew) — we definitely won’t be back.

We enjoyed 3 nights here. The staff were professional and friendly. The location is good, within walking distance to the city centre. Breakfast is a voucher to the very nice Diaspora Cafe, again within walking distance. Great value 🌻

Stayed for a night knowing they were part of Accor hotels. Room was dusty with no amenities and drinking water. Couldn’t even think of driving from the tap because it had mold all over it! Unhygienic, terrible service. Manager Neeraj was full of words but no action, unprofessional! Would never stay, Accor should also reconsider.

Lovely old building, room was large and beds and pillows were comfy. Staff were lovely. We could walk easily and quickly to the mall, the Harvest Rock Festival, and there were a few good coffee shops closed by.
