This place was not far from our Airbnb and we checked it out as it was very highly rated. They did not disappoint. All our drinks were excellent. Crustinis were amazing. One of the baristas gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant and it was also fantastic. Espresso martinis were the best we had in Venice.

My boyfriend and I woke up to have some cicchettis (Brie + jam, salami, and ham + egg) and coffee. The establishment was wonderful with great wine, coffee, and small bites. Can’t wait to return. ☺️

Lovely little cafe/bar with lots of cicchetti and nice drinks. Feels lovely without being too busy. We went on our first and last nights and had a great time

Perfect bar for hiding in the rain or just in general !!! The cicchetti were delicious. I got a meatball and cacio e Pepe cicchetti and scarfed it down. For drinks I got an espresso martini and as a professional espresso martini connoisseur def rate 10/10. Absolutely must stop for a drink or a snack. AND !!! Affordable!!!

Oh my goodness when I tell you this was the best Espresso Martini I've ever had. It was gorgeous, so perfect and full, we watched him take it from beautiful shot of freshly made espresso through to this masterpiece. Gorgeous. I'm sure everything here is equally as amazing. We love love loved it.

we went for an evening aperitivo — the prices are not high, the staff is nice, and it’s a pretty place right in front of the cathedral.

Quick summary: if I could dream up an Italian café, this would be it. Amazing service, incredible espresso, quaint, cozy atmosphere, and a cool view. What went right: everything. Seriously, everything. It’s off the beaten path but anything worth eating/drinking in Venice is off the beaten path. Doesn’t have tourist vibes which pretty much every place in Venice does unfortunately. What went wrong (which is honestly just more nice stuff to say): if I had to nitpick, I’d say there isn’t a lot of seating, so if you don’t get lucky you’ll have to stand which may not be great if you have trouble with that. I’ll also say that’s pretty standard at really nice places in Venice. In general if people are standing inside and/or outside the place drinking and laughing, it’s a good place. If there is staff outside of it trying to get you to come in, AVOID. This place didn’t have that problem. We walked by this place and it was a beehive of fun both day and night.

Yelp
I see the words wine bar and it's a draw! Tucked away in a corner, Adagio was my last cicchetti in Italy. Love all the petit choices of sweet and savory. Such good deals too . Perfect bites with a little spritz . 2 euros for 1 or 16 euros for 9. 4 euro spritz! Nice chill environment with staff on hand if you need them. Was nice just to watch Venice in the rain from my seat. Met some cool folks in here too. My ham and cheese croquette was nice and smooth inside and crunchy coating. And my coconut cake slice was so tropical tasting. Very dense but very coconutty!! Both were perfect sweet and savory . Aperol spritz in Italy just can't be beaten in my opinion. Loved this little hidden gem.

Yelp
We enjoyed aperativi and cicchetti our last night in Venice. Everything was delicious, the staff were wonderful, and the location was perfect for us.

Yelp
Wow! I heard of this place from the blogger/instagrammer, Paris in Four Months. It was tricky finding it on Google Maps for some reason, but once we got here so worth it. (right next to Basillica dei Frari) Very tiny and cute. We had Aperol Spritzes which are only 3,50 euro. The cheapest price we've seen in all of Italy. They don't really have lunch or a menu. But the famous cicchetti. Very tasty. We had a selection and two spritzes for only 13 euro! And the staff that helped us was very helpful and accommodating to speak English. I'm sure the wine is fantastic as it is primarily a wine bar. Let's just say we will be back!
