Quick summary: if I could dream up an Italian café, this would be it. Amazing service, incredible espresso, quaint, cozy atmosphere, and a cool view.
What went right: everything. Seriously, everything. It’s off the beaten path but anything worth eating/drinking in Venice is off the beaten path. Doesn’t have tourist vibes which pretty much every place in Venice does unfortunately.
What went wrong (which is honestly just more nice stuff to say): if I had to nitpick, I’d say there isn’t a lot of seating, so if you don’t get lucky you’ll have to stand which may not be great if you have trouble with that. I’ll also say that’s pretty standard at really nice places in Venice. In general if people are standing inside and/or outside the place drinking and laughing, it’s a good place. If there is staff outside of it trying to get you to come in, AVOID. This place didn’t have that problem. We walked by this place and it was a beehive of fun both day and night.
