7/3/25 Very good dinner. Excellent service. This is an extremely busy restaurant. I’ll go back when I’m in town. Several seating areas. Can accompany large parties. I also had take-out one evening and it was also delicious as well as a nice serving size. Nicely packaged.

Food is phenomenal but they've screwed up my order numerous times. Even after takeout orders are repeated several times over the phone, there are still several mistakes. This last time my family got take out: both buffalo wings came with ranch instead of blue cheese, both burgers came with cheese despite requesting none, one of the burgers had mushrooms and onions when we didn't ask for it, and we were shorted 1 of the fries we asked for. Experience would be 100 times better if we could simply get what we asked for.

What a gem on Commercial Ave. in St. Joseph, MO. Their extensive menu covers everything from prime rib to tacos. I believe that I could put the menu on a wall and throw a dart and hit something excellent. Lacey, our host, was the hit of the evening. She could anticipate our desires. I mean, who asks if you want mayonnaise with your fries? Lacey did! And the double fried fries were a delight. This place is definitely worth a trip to the South Side for hospitality and great dining.

Surprisingly Fabulous food. Excellent service. Pleasant crowd for a bar atmosphere. Went during a pool league event so they were very busy and still the service was top notch.🤩

The food is always good- I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t like. The servers are always attentive and very friendly. This is our go-to place. Best prime rib in town by far.

These guys were on point, the service was great! They were extremely friendly, the food came fast, and while you wait, play some games! Most importantly the food was delicious 😋🤤 10 out of 10 all the way around! Great prices as well!

Found my new favorite place to pick up lunch in St.Joe. Delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Our waitress gave great service and was super friendly. Thank you Adam's b&g for a great lunch break

The world needs more Bar & Grills like this. I don't go there to drink, I go there for their grill. Nothing is bland, it has taste. A place that is very comfortable, servers that know their job. Twenty some years, all good.

On cold days, the front room is cold. Move back away from the door. Their breakfasts are pretty good. They serve brown hashbrowns, and their sausage gravy over biscuits is tasty. I think their bacon is undercooked, and if you ask for it crispy, it comes out burned. The servers I've had, have been attentive. I've not eaten there for lunch in a very long time.

They have roaches, service was not good. Servers were VAPING around the food and salads. They are unsanitary and would never recommend

We ate here on a Monday evening, which happened to be $1.50 Taco night. Obviously the place was very busy. The waitress was sick, couldn't hear (even speaking very loudly), and was very short tempered/fused. So service could definitely use some improvement! I ordered 2 beef hard shell tacos and 2 beef soft tacos. Order came back with 4 hard shell tacos, so sent them back to get the correct order. The order came back for the second time and I ate the 2 hard shell tacos. I started to eat the soft taco and it was chicken, so had to send it back again!!! Finally got the order back a third time and it was correct. Frustrating! The other 2 people in my party both had cold mashed potatoes with their meals. So those had to be sent back too. The place has pinball machines and pool tables along with a bar. It also has a wide variety of seating scattered throughout the facility. Televisions were on so you can watch sports. Of course it was rather loud when we were there. Just needs improvement on wait staff and cooking/kitchen staff.

Been here a few times and can have an adult beverage with breakfast if you so choose. They were busy but food came out in a timely manner. Wait staff here are pdq on most things. First time in for dinner. Met some cool folks from Indy, hope you enjoyed your time here and safe trip home!!!

The Reuben is delicious ad so are the fries. Service is great. They're always busy and the place is clean.

I had the polish dog with onion rings. It was very good and the onion rings were outstanding. Now going to split a blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Onion rings were homemade. Our server was very nice.

The worse burger ever i medium rare is not well done cooks to stupid to cook anything but well shiuldnt be a cook I love corn and theirs dog wouldnt eat pop saus oh add this and thatno food should be good for prices of it Meatloaf every time ya go they are out no matter what time i choked so bad on burger my throat hurt Go anyplace but here fords burgrrs 10 times better I mean how can ya screw up a burger or corn only thing i ever had there was omlet

This place has that charming hole-in-the-wall vibe. You seat yourself and walk to the register when you wanna pay. I met friends here for brunch but they don't serve breakfast after 11am so we pivoted and had lunch instead. I wish I had taken pictures but I was so hungry I forgot. I started with a spicy bloody mary which was garnished with olives and a pickle. It was very good. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, they were also quite tasty. My friends ordered boneless wings and a grilled cheese. Everyone was pleased with their food and the bill. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good food and want to support a small locally owned business instead of going to a chain. I definitely intend to go back for breakfast.

Only thing served hot was the hash browns that were ordered after the original order came out. Menu stated hash browns & toast but that wasn't the case. Biscuits & gravy was terrible. Gravy tasted like wallpaper paste & biscuits weren't completely done. Waitress didn't even care when she was asked why the food was cold & tasteless. Just a few older men there talking loud about things only they care about. I won't be a repeat customer. Waitress me writing this review & took our plates immediately so couldn't get a picture

My salad was really good, although some pieces of my chicken were a little dry but season well. I would return to keep trying something new. Service was friendly and fast!

We take our family of 12 two to three times a month we haven't had a bad experience ever the wait staff is elite, very polite. food is always great this restaurant strives for perfection and hits it every time.

Was very pleased with my meal. Got the flank steak option and was cooked perfectly and delicious. I asked foe cheese on my broccoli and was pleased there was a good amount and bit some skimpy couple shreds like some places do. Their green beans were also decent and bit a canned mushy mess that I've had at other joints. Im doing keto so I couldn't have the toast but it looked good. Went at a busy time and though staff was very busy i still got good service

Opened at 7pm Friday. Placed a to go order at 7:17 after waiting in line. Did not get food tell after 8pm. Almost 45 minutes for a to go order and then they screwed it up. Did not wait. What a joke. Didn't even apologize for the wait.

Stopped by on Friday, July 26 shortly after an apparent lunch crowd departed. Was searching for something other than a chain restaurant and am glad we found this. Adams has small town local crowd and charm of some of the best taverns and restaurants that Ive been to. I had the Catfish fillets which were incredible while my girlfriend remarked about how great her Reuben was. While seated at the bar, we had excellent service from Cage. The bar has a good selection of local craft beer on draft and in bottles. Thanks again.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and beyond excellent service. When friends come for a visit, I take them here for all the above.

Food and service is always excellent. Always get great and friendly service. Pricing is in line with other restaurants around Saint Joseph. Highly recommend them to anyone living or traveling through the area.

The revitalization of Adams is now complete. The menu gives lots of options. Even picky eaters can find something. The service is great. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and well lit. The sandwiches are fantastic as are the daily specials. The food comes out pretty quick so it's a great lunch spot. The tacos are great. I personally liked the Club and the BLT. Family run and a great place to eat. Please give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

We had our friend's birthday here and we loved the place his wife chose to celebrate his 40th. They have good drinks and great foods. I had the tortilla hamburger and it was very good along with a margarita. Great, friendly and quick service. I am definitely coming back here.

used too go in there a lot. food is awesome but it has become so popular can never get seated! once went in employees scrambling around. left went somewhere else. called ahead they told me they could fit us in. get there 10 minutes later. again employees too busy. didn't even ask if we had a reservation. again we walked out. ended up going to Applebees where service was great. we will not be returning!

Had the salmon. Tasty. Good Mac n cheese, good fries. Friend got the chicken tendies and they looked good. Service was friendly but maybe not the most professional.

We accidentally found this place on a roadtrip for my son's IUPUI graduation when we stopped for gas nearby. This had to be the best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever had! We loved the family atmosphere, the locals and the owners - so friendly and welcoming. We loved it so much we had to stop on our way back to Colorado. I'm planning another roadtrip now and have incorporated it into our travel plans - love this place! Colorado coming through again ...

My family traveled from California to St. Joesph for my son's commencement at MWSU. This spot is such a friendly place to have a drink and dinner. The food is amazing, but the service is even better. The owners and brother of the owner are such pleasant people. They should us so much love. Even the patrons were extremely nice. I can't wait to come back to St. Joe!

First time in, don't know what all the big rave is about. Cold fries average burger, wrap needed more zip to it. Wasn't all that impressed.........sorry just don't see it.

You'll have to look hard for this place but it's worth it. We stopped in for a quick meal when we were in town from KC for a high school hockey game. The menu is American comfort food. Apps, burgers, sandwiches, steaks etc my wife ordered tacos which had great seasoning and the salsa was tasty. I had the roast beef sandwich covered in gravy with mashed potatoes. Very good, tender meat the gravy was delicious. On a Friday night the parking is a challenge so you might have to drive around once or twice or walk a bit. Enjoy!

Recently visiting (I live in florida) I came in here with my whole family and the place was PACKED! Keep in mind this was me and 9 other family members, we sat down and was immediately greeted by our server a very nice girl with blonde hair by the name of Cassidy . She took our drink orders and in less than I would say 3 minutes she was back with everything and ready to take down our order. The food came so fast I would say we were only there an hour or less ! I would definitely say this is one of the top restaurants saint joseph has to offer I was completely shocked by the great service, the manager even came over and greeted us to make sure everything was up to par, which it was ! If you get a chance to Oder the adams famous philly and the pork tenderloin you should it was DELICIOUS! All in all I would definitely recommend and me and my family will definitely be back whenever we get the chance.

Great food as always! We go here a good many times, since my family is well known here! The staff is always courteous and polite. The cook doesnt qiite know how to make an omelete but it still comes out great. Come on in have some good food and play some keno or go to the bar have you a drink, play some pool, pac-man or bowling

Adams has the absolute BEST Prime Rib to be found in town! I've had it several times and it's been consistently really good and served as I ordered (Medium Rare). As a side note, they have the very best Patty Melt I've ever had anywhere. They have a varied menu and pretty much everything I've had there has been well above average.

Smokey, for now. Welcoming staff. Missy was my girl, tenderloin was juicy and the Jalapeño bottle caps were good an spicy. Much better the Tap Room on the Belt. Quiet on a Monday night. Small pool table, small stage.

Tried the prime rib.. it was great...always very good and friendly service...highly recommend the burgers, Philly cheesesteaks , and Mexican potato!!

Now I've tried their Prime Rib. It is the best one I've had. Not done your typical way. Words can't describe. Only available on Friday and Saturday but worth it. Other things I've had are the livers, chicken fried steak and my wife loves the tacos. Great place. Great food. Great service. Great prices.

My family and I come here regularly for the broasted chicken. IT IS AMAZING. Birthdays, holidays, special occasions - we ask for everyone to meet at Adam's. Reasonable prices, keno while you wait - friendly staff. Enthusiastic thumbs up!

Owners Whitney & Kyle have only made this great restaurant better! Great food, awesome service & family friendly atmosphere! Weekend dishwasher is a cutie! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! You won't be disappointed!

Some of the best eats in all of St Joe. Chicken wings are fantastic, steaks are great too!

Owner yelled at my husband for driving in the parking lot. We order to go all the time. We will never go back. Owner is very disrespectful and rude.

I got the fajita chicken salad with ranch and it was pretty good. The margarita was refreshing and prices were good as well. I had a side of mashed potatoes with brown gravy and I had to send it back to be warmed up since it was sent out cold. My family enjoyed their meal and it was a good bar and grill atmosphere. Also, very friendly waitress. My husband and I had the Philly cheesesteak last time and I would recommended not getting the spicy cheese.

If you want the best ribeye in town, go to Adams! Their wings are fantastic, their taco salad is amazing, and desserts are like the way your grandmother would bake them. It's also neat that there is a bar side and a restaurant seating side. Service is quick and after you go there a few times they memorize what you like to eat and drink. Adams is like the Cheers of Saint Joseph!

The roast beef and mashed potatoes with gravy used to be awesome! However, tonight the gravy was thinner than soup! That made the potatoes terrible! The roast beef had so much fat and grisel that I could only get approximately half of it to eat!Very disappointing!
