Great location, superb hospitality. Easy walk to great food, music, shopping and experiences. The breakfast provided is fresh and delicious, best way to start the day. Clean, stylish, and relaxing place to rest after a day of exploring. We would definitely return and recommend this place for anyone in the area! We also had a rental vehicle and had no trouble with availability in the parking area.

Wonderful bed and breakfast in Galway. Walking distance to all of the activity and a calm place to relax after all of the site seeing. Kiera is a warm and thoughtful host, and so is Taylor. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was some of the best we had in all of Ireland.

A short walk from the train through town yet still close to all the action. We loved our brief two-day stay in Galway at Adare Guesthouse. Beds were comfy, rooms spacious, facilities were clean and the breakfast was top notch. Affordable and enjoyable.

Update: The owner reported to Booking.com that I never showed up to the property and cancelled the reservation so I can't leave a review and it says I may be charged a cancellation fee. Wow! Nicely done. I have reported this to booking.com and will report to consumer protection agency if I don't receive a proper return. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I WISH I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS. After a long day of driving we arrived at the guesthouse around 830pm, and we went out to dinner. We came back to the room and tried taking a shower at 10pm. The shower simply didn't work. The water pressure was trickle at best, I took a video recording because the water just stopped at one point. My boyfriend who arrived after also could not take a shower.  Also, the wifi does not work on the top floor. I went to bed not being able to take a shower, when that was the one thing we were looking forward to all day.  The lady at check in DID NOT tell us that the shower would not be working in our room.  The next morning we were woken up to a very loud noise coming from the building (I also have a recording of this as well).  After not being able to take a shower and losing sleep, I went down to the lobby to ask the owner what the noise is. She said this is the water pump which starts at 7am. Had I known that this noise was going to be existent I would not have booked this property, since I was looking for a restful sleep, which I did not get. When I showed her the video of the shower with almost no water she asked me WHAT TIME I tried taking the shower. I asked her "does it matter what time?" She never told us that after a certain time the shower wouldn't work, and that the water had to be pumped. Never apologized. Instead her and her colleague said "This had never been a problem before", as if me complaining about not-working shower was a wrong thing to do. Really?? Do I have a curfew with the shower?? When I complained that I was not able to get a shower and I was worken up by the noise, another lady came out and said "we could have left the pump on all night and you would have heard it all night!", and when I asked for a full refund because I cannot stay here with the noise and the lack of shower, she said "well you're not getting a refund because you slept in it". Well I have a record of informing the owner last night and she never responded. When I went to speak to her the next morning to ask about seeing my message, she said she was busy preparing breakfast and that she didn't see it. She and her colleague shushed me for speaking loudly saying I'm waking up other guests, and apparently the pump noise is okay? I was never told that I would get a room w not functioning shower and lack of wifi in the room. If so, I would not have booked this room at this guest house. I left in less than 12 hours and she said I would not get a refund. I will be disputing this w booking.com and also my credit card company.

We recently stayed at The Adare Guesthouse in Galway and had a fantastic experience. Kira, the host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The guesthouse itself is beautifully maintained, with a charming and cozy atmosphere. Each room has been thoughtfully renovated without losing any of the historic charm. The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into ensuring a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—convenient for exploring Galway while still offering a peaceful retreat. Breakfast each morning was a highlight; it was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, Adare Guesthouse is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Galway. Thank you Kira!! We enjoyed our stay so much!!

Adare guesthouse was everything I could imagine if I googled "quaint bed and breakfast Galway". The rooms were well laid out, clean, and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The breakfast in the morning was bountiful and delicious (had the French toast twice!). The owner was so friendly, helpful, and made you feel very welcomed. Highly recommend staying here for your Galway visit. The location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants, and there is a space to park your car. If you're lucky you'll get to meet Taylor, the owners adorable cockapoo pup.

Adare Guest House was positively the best place we stayed while in Ireland. The room and other guest areas were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast provided had so many choices it was hard to choose, and were all delicious. The location enables you to park your car and walk through the park and over the bridge and you were then right in the center of the city. Ciara our hostess was incredibly friendly, helpful and had a wealth of information; her dog Taylor was adorable!! We can not recommend this treasure highly enough. Thank you Adare Guest House for such a wonderful stay!

Yelp
Ciara who runs the guest house really went above and beyond to take care of me. It really just felt like I was a guest in someone's home. I highly recommend staying with Ciara! Plus, the location is great.

Yelp
Stayed two nights here. You are paying for location, that's about it. Breakfast is extra, 10 euro to be exact. Bed is old and sort of lumpy. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that goes on inside and out. The room is nicely decorated...but i wouldnt judge a book by its cover. Two pluses, you get your own bathroom (at least in the room I got) and it's only about a 5 minute walk from quay street. I payed less and got way more while in belfast the previous two nights. Not at all impressed.
