We have travelled Australia for at least 50 years and this has to have been the worst we have ever stayed at. We stayed in a cabin that was very dirty, I killed at least 6 cockroaches over the 2 nights we stayed there. Friends camping got warned by a staff member who drove around checking on everyone all the time. They got a ticket warning them not to use there SMOKER not a BBQ but a smoker!!! Every time I went to the office to speak to someone it was closed!!! Definitely will not recommend this campground to anyone and will never stay there again.

We stayed at Adder Rock Campground on Stradbroke Island in our Hyundai iMax campervan (just over 5m long) and camped in the Frogger section. We had the back of the van facing straight towards the water—only about a 10m walk onto the sand. Perfect spot! If you have a kayak or stand-up paddleboard, definitely bring it—on a calm day, the water here is really flat and ideal. The staff were super friendly and do a great job keeping the place tidy with mowing and whipper snipping, making sure the view to the water stays open and clear. I’d definitely recommend this spot whether you’re in a tent, campervan, or RV with a powered setup. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice campsite but the facilities are in need of renovation. Looks. Very tired and uncared for with poor facilities. You are not able to choose your site so can be very noisy in the evenings. We have been here twice and it has gone really downhill.

We were camping at flinders beach and needed to print our camping permit so we went to adder rock campground and politely asked for our camping permit tag printed. But this old ahh Regenald looking ahh was a rude old stick in the mud. His impolite and unfriendly manner really grinds my gears.

Great time there, close to everything, got flooded in our tent, Ranger arranged some shovels for us. Champion bloke. Camping amenities all close by. We will be back again

Adder Rock is well run and maintained by awesome staff in an eco friendly environment that could be EASILY mistaken as a free rein wildlife park! The native Australian animals appear in ABUNDANCE. Come to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. A MUST SEE!!!! #perfection

I arrived at the place around 1pm and there was an envelope with the key and two sheets with information about the staying. The eco tent is ok. It’s safari style and there is fridge, lamps, hanger, and the coolest thing of the tent is that you have multiple windows that you can adjust the amount of light that you want inside by adjusting the zipper. There is a little varanda at the front with a bbq, one table and two chairs. Great for the morning or afternoon. The kitchen is only a covered space with bbq. There is no microwave or other equipments. The toilets are outside, quite old and not that clean. I’ve stayed two nights and both nights were noisy after 10pm. If you want to have a quite and chilled night. This place is not for you. Overall, it’s an average place with a very high price and I would not come back again.
