I visited KIKO KOSTADINOV in Seoul because I heard that my favorite brand, KIKO KOSTADINOV, has opened a store in Seoul. Last season's items were on the line, so I asked for another product's stock just in case, but he hesitated for some reason. The male employee looked at me up and down instead of answering, and it was really unpleasant.
After scanning me a couple of times, he said “no” in a very small voice, and he laughed a little. What do you mean? I don't know what it means, but I felt very ignored.
It made me think about all kinds of things as a woman, and selling like that made me feel negative about the brand. I don't think I'll ever revisit the Seoul store.
