UPDATE: Continued harassment from the owner. She private messaged me, and continued to insult me. I had to block her on Yelp. Screenshot attached. I hope everyone continues to put this monster on blast until her restaurant shuts down.
ADDI FARNSWORTH is by far the rudest restaurant owner I have ever met. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by this woman's behavior. If you don't believe me, just look at the comments from others who have also experienced her rudeness. She continues to argue with customers on Yelp, which is so unprofessional!
i.e. Verbatim from Addi, the owner replying back to a customer: "Thanks for taking the time to give us this shitty review Travis! I won't apologize for your stupidity!"
What kind of restaurant owner speaks to customers like this?
On the morning of May 2, 2025, my sister and I had breakfast at her restaurant. My sister had a few questions about our bill that needed clarification, and Addi spoke to us in the most condescending voice before walking away, completely ignoring that we needed to pay. When a really sweet waitress overheard us discussing Addi's inappropriate behavior, she kindly offered to comp our meals. This caught Addi's attention, and she charged towards us, her face red with anger like a bull! She screamed, "Oh no! You're not leaving here without paying your bill!" in front of everyone in the restaurant.
Feeling frustrated with Addi's nasty attitude, my sister decided to walk out the door. Addi yelled, "You're dining and dashing," even though that wouldn't have been the case, as the waitress was comping our meals due to Addi's behavior.
Despite Addi making a scene in her own restaurant, I calmly handed her my card and asked why she was causing such a fuss. She accused me of dining and dashing, even though I was literally offering my credit card. I explained that throughout this entire interaction, I had been nothing but kind and calm, while she was yelling and being condescending and rude.
After processing my credit card, Addi shouted my name aloud for everyone in the restaurant to hear and yelled, "I'll remember that name!" It was completely inappropriate. Honestly, I wouldn't give her the pleasure of saying my name ever again. Your business clearly needed those $50 more than I ever will.
To the waitress, I tipped despite Addi's nasty attitude, and to the rest of the staff reading this review, I'm sorry you have to work with such an awful human.
**History of Rudeness by Addi from Other Customers:**
*The owner I assume because her name is "Addie" was completely rude and not understanding of two single moms having two toddlers to look after. She once even said that this is a restaurant and not a zoo. As if our children are animals or that it is my dream to try to contain my child in a restaurant full of vintage toys that they obviously cannot play with all at their eye level.
*Addi was super rude to me about how impatient I was. She did this to a couple other people as well. I told her I won't be back and she told me that it wasn't a loss, there are plenty of mouths to feed. After talking with others about my experience, she doesnt seem to care about customer service and treats many like this. Customer service and attitude is sooo important. She has always been welcoming and nice. unfortunately, I will not be going back. I witnessed first hand how rude she is to customers while having lunch there, including being rude to me.
*EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Have never walked out of a restaurant until today. Was looking forward to trying the food, definitely will not go back. Woman was rude to children and myself as soon as we sat down.
*the owner is a toxic, horrible meanie who shouldn't ever be allowed to talk to people. My friend's food had a hair on top of it and when she told the owner, the owner scowled at her, asking if she wasn't sure if it was her own (it was black hair like the owner's and my friend is blond)! Later, she came by with the coffee pot and asked if I wanted more but walked away before I could answer. I feel sorry for the nice people that work there because if she was that horrible and rude to us in the few moments we dealt with her I can't image how she is to them.
*Our last visit, the owner was extremely rude to both my wife and my mother. We were told it would be a few minutes for a table and we're asked to wait outside, no big deal. It was rather warm outside and it took far longer than a few minutes. While waiting outside, she swung the door open to deliver a Togo order and hit me (I didn't realize I was close to the door). No apology or anything, she simply told my wife, he shouldn't stand in front of the door and that since she was the owner she could treat people however she wanted.
