"How did it strike you on arrival?Set on the outskirts of Dubai, Address Montgomerie is a lush golf resort managed by Troon Golf, the same firm responsible for fairway-first resorts from Scotland to Arizona. The low-slung white buildings and manicured emerald green course are a distinct departure from the sparkling high-rises just a short drive away. With just 21 rooms, Address Montgomerie is never crowded or hectic. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Business travelers who are avid golfers, with the occasional honeymooning couple thrown in the mix. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The lowest room class, the Deluxe Courtyard Room, has a terrace and panoramic views across the property’s courtyard. The room is decorated with neutral-colored carpets, black-stained wood paneling, and white linens, but the natural theme is broken up by pops of red from a faux-croc desk chair and loud striped lounge chairs. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase?Bottled water is free and each room has a Nespresso machine. The minibar is stocked with the usual suspects: Jack Daniels, Bombay Sapphire, Stella Artois, and more. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are large and match the room's color scheme with tan tile and dark wood accents. You’ll find double sinks, a freestanding tub, and a walk-in shower, as well as toiletries by Lorenzo Villoresi and much-appreciated extras like bath salts and mouthwash. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wifi is free but slightly slow. iMacs available in the business center are marginally faster. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?Rahul at Links, one of the property’s on-site restaurants, goes out of his way to please. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The hotel is attached to the golf club—a plus if you plan on hitting the links, but might bothersome to non-golfers. The pool is large, and stocked with ample sunbeds. You’ll be treated to bottled water and cold towels once you settle in, a pleasant surprise in Dubai’s stifling heat. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Worth it for a golf-lover who has an extra day or two to spend in Dubai, but non-golfers might find themselves bored quickly. You can only spend so many hours by the pool." - Laura Ratliff

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The place itself was great—clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location—but what really made the experience special was Hassan. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, helpful, and always available if we had any questions or requests. Honestly, his kindness and hospitality made such a difference that we’re already planning to come back—mostly because of him! Highly recommend this place.

We recently booked 11 rooms for our friends and family, and the experience was truly exceptional. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Choosing the breakfast-inclusive option was a great decision — the food was excellent and offered something for everyone. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and the entire property was very well-maintained. The staff deserves special mention for their friendliness and willingness to help with anything we needed. A heartfelt thank you to Sultan, who went above and beyond assisting with the luggage and making sure all our guests were comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommended for group stays or special occasions. We’re very grateful for the hospitality!

What can I say that I've not said before. |Our favourite hotel in Dubai, only 22 rooms so if you like to stay somewhere where you are made to feel special then this is the place. |Stayed in room 112, great views over the 18th. Huge comfy bed, housekeeping twice a day, spotlessly clean. |All the staff anticipate your needs! |Delsey remembered from previous stays that I always need extra coat hangers, they were already in the room. |Zane in Montys remembers what I like to drink at breakfast, that was great. All the staff in Montys are great, they anticipate what we want and have it ready for us, a fantastic team. |Prasanna looks after us at the pool, I've always got plenty of water and dry towels. |Ali and Sultan are brilliant, friendly and go out of their way to make sure is perfect. |Treatments in the Spa were lovely and great golf. |Looking forward to trying the new coffee shop next to the pool on our next stay. |Thank you once again, Savio, you have a great team and we will see you soon.

The aromatherapy massage in the Spa was unbelievably amazing . The ambience is relaxing and conducive to preparing for the treatment. My daughter and I both chose the rose essential oil and it was fantastic . Both our therapists were professional and very, very good. They asked repeatedly if the pressure was suitable and adjusted accordingly. We had Lisa and Kim. Both of them were incredibly talented and clearly take pride in doing a phenomenal job. The tea and snacks were amazing too. The attitude of all the staff was ‘nothing is too much trouble’. They obviously want to make all guests feel valued and special.|We left the Spa feeling languid and our skin was soft and supple. A fabulous job very well done by everyone at the Spa. We will definitely come here again.

We’ve played golf here on previous visits to Dubai but never stayed at the hotel. |We recently stayed for a week. My husband loved his 6 rounds of golf. I enjoyed chilling by the pool and visiting the spa. |What blew us away was the level of service provided by everyone. |The food was amazing. We could tell everyone took pride in their role and that they want to create the best experience for you. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.

it was unfortunate we went on the hottest day in the year to be able to enjoy the golf activities, but the service, rooms, were so lovely. Will surely come again ! One of the best things is that it’s only 22 rooms so there aren’t a lot of people.

I had a great time at the Ramadan tent! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the experience was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable gathering.

I tried a suhoor at el nafoora yesterday. The place was extremely overbooked and overcrowded. The staff and cooks did not seem to keep up with the number of people in the restaurant. It was hard to even walk around. They were adding tables everywhere including in alleys as they didn't even have enough tables or space for the number of people booked. Felt like a zoo. You will sitting at your table and people standing by your chair. The arabic buffet was decent but unfortunately, bad experience overall. Don't recommend at all. Expect a very long waiting time at the vallet parking as well. You will wait 20 to 25 minutes then a caddy cart will drive you to your car. The vallet staff were working so hard could not keep up either. Most chaotic suhoor experience ever!
