TLDR: Absolutely fantastic Halal experience and highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Everything is Halal too. Downside is that the food is quite pricey, but the quality and service is worth it. I got the BBQ Ribs with fries and cornbread, and my friend got the Brisket & Beef Bacon Sandwich w/ fries. The ribs were so tender, fatty and juicy, and were marinated very well. The fries were very crispy and seasoned nicely, and the cornbread was pretty good; a dessert on its own. Each rib bite was incredibly addicting and delicious. I also highly recommend getting a side cup of their BBQ sauce. It's amazing and pairs so well with the ribs. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his brisket and beef bacon sandwich. He also enjoyed it with the side of BBQ sauce. Both dishes were very heavy, but we both finished the food fairly quickly because of how good it was. The service is very friendly and surprisingly quite quick. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for our food. Only major downside is the price. I think the ribs were almost $30 and my friend's brisket & bacon sandwich was close to $20, but considering how amazing the overall experience was, I'd recommend trying it at least once.

Addy’s BBQ is a great new addition to Broadlands, offering a Halal-friendly menu with some creative fusion options. The scene is cool and inviting, though as a newly opened spot, there are still a few growing pains—like empty napkin dispensers and meals served without plates unless you ask. Small details that I’m sure will be ironed out as they settle in. Now for the food: Spicy Wings – Tasty, but I’d suggest asking for the sauce on the side since ours came out a little soggy. The wings themselves had great flavor. Brisket Quesadilla – Absolute standout! Bursting with flavor and paired with a spot-on salsa. A must try. Cajun Chicken Sandwich – Good, but not quite as memorable compared to other dishes and local options. Jalapeño Poppers – Pretty standard bar-style offering, nothing remarkable here. Burnt Ends – One of the highlights! Served with vegetables (a first for me), tender, smoky, and delicious. Loaded Fries, Another must try crispy fries piled high with generous toppings, absolutely delicious. The staff deserves a mention as well, quick, attentive, and always available when needed. We’re already planning to come back to try more dishes, especially the South African-inspired items that looked amazing. Highly recommend Addy’s BBQ if you’re in the area, it’s a spot with a lot of promise, great flavors, and a unique menu that’s only going to get better over time.

Tried Addy’s BBQ in Ashburn and was genuinely impressed. The portions are no joke—hearty, well-packed, and full of flavor. They stay true to the original Addy’s from Jersey, especially when it comes to that smoky BBQ profile. We ordered: * Crispy chicken sandwich: crispy outside, juicy inside, great seasoning. * Smash burger: flavorful and rich, with a smoky house sauce that really tied it together. * Side fries: solid texture, well-salted. * BBQ wings & buffalo wings: both cooked through perfectly and generously sauced. I had them to-go, so they lost some crunch, but the flavor was still there. * Loaded brisket sandwich: packed with tender brisket, savory and satisfying. This was a staff recommendation and it delivered. Easily the kind of sandwich you need a fork to handle, and that’s not a complaint. Everything was well-balanced and tasted fresh. No weak links in the order. Great spot for when you're in the mood for bold, comfort-heavy food that doesn't skimp on size or flavor.

Hands down one of the best barbecue experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the aroma of smoked meats let us know we were in for a treat. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and offer great recommendations. I ordered the brisket burnt ends, the masala ribs, brisket cheesteak, which were absolutely phenomenal — perfectly tender, smoky, and full of flavor without being overly sauced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of casual and cozy. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do, and it really shows in the quality of the food and service. If you love authentic halal barbecue done right, this spot is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Ask for the StashBurger. Secret menu item, smashburger with the beef bacon and brisket. Best burger ive ever had in my life. I was going to order the regular smash burger but the friendly dude up front hooked it up. Wow what an amazing experience. Great staff, clean establishment. Possibly one of the best bbq spots ive been to on the East Coast.

I had a really disappointing experience at Addy’s Barbecue. I asked for a smash burger to be cooked well done, and the staff flat out refused. The only option they allow is medium, which is absurd. I’ve never been to a restaurant that refuses to prepare food the way the customer requests. It feels careless and dismissive. On top of that, the tables weren’t clean when I sat down, which says a lot about how little attention they pay to basic upkeep. The overall service showed zero effort or experience—nobody seemed interested in making sure guests were comfortable or satisfied. When you combine a dirty environment with a menu that limits how you can even have your food cooked, it makes you question why this place is in business at all. Definitely not worth the stop, and I won’t be returning.

Good burger with good fries. Their patties are crispy and moist. The burgers are gooey good. BTW, they use roll buns rather than burger buns. They offer a meal for fries and a drink (can) for $3.99 which I find a good value thanks to generous fries portion. Their fries are seasoned which may not appeal to some. Their fries are crispy (I personally prefer crispier fries) and held up well for takeout.

Yelp
FOOD/DRINK: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 I've slowly been hearing about Addy's Barbeque from word of mouth and also seeing it near my pharmacy. We decided to check it out one day when my husband got off work late as they are open until 10 (a rarity in Loudoun County!). We went into it blind as they don't have a menu up online yet. You order at the counter and pick your seat afterwards. The cashier was enthusiastic, nice, and offered some recommendations. I even asked if certain things were spicy and he clarified things with us. I ended up ordering the Addy's Amarillo House Burger, while my husband ordered the Brisket and Beef Bacon Sandwich. It was an additional $3.99 to add a drink and fries, so we both opted for that. We both grabbed Palestine sodas as our drinks. Addy's Amarillo House Burger - the burger was perfectly charred and juicy, while being covered in a mushroom sauce. I would have preferred a slight more toasting on the bun but otherwise, it was great. Brisket and Beef Bacon Sandwich - my husband said it was really good and balanced. The only note he had was that it was messy. Fries - the fries were light and crisp with a pepper taste that complimented the sandwiches. a very solid option. Palestine sodas - I got the orange one and it was really great, not too sweet. Overall, we would definitely return. They said they were going to be open even later - midnight - when they do their grand opening at the end of the month. The only thing I would change is the serving dish. While it looks nice, it doesn't really work since the sandwiches are a bit messy. They are a little too small. I would also suggest getting a website where customers can order ahead. But I know they are working out the kinks still. Welcome to Broadlands!! We wish you much success.

Yelp
What frustrates me most about restaurants is when you order takeout, wait patiently, and then watch your food get packed, left sitting there, while staff move on to serve dine-in customers and fulfill orders that came after yours. That's exactly what happened here -- and when I finally asked about my order, it turned out the bag that had been sitting there all along was mine. I can't stand getting cold food, and that's what I ended up with. The Smash Burger was paper-thin, tiny, and definitely not worth it -- even if it had been warm. I asked for extra pickles and got none. The veggies were low quality, and the fries were cold with hardened cheese. Maybe the sauce and meat could've been good if served hot, but I'll never know. Their "mango addy" drink was bland, with almost no mango flavor, and the barbecue sauce tasted like a store-bought brand. Doubt they're making anything in house. Overall, disappointing food and service. Had high hopes from the social media videos but the hype was disappointing.

Yelp
No one picks up the phone or the number online needs to be updated. The brisket cheesesteak tasted delicious but the presentation was terrible. It looked like a flatbread and was really difficult to eat.

Yelp
The service was amazing. The food came late just because of low staff. The thing that I felt it was a problem was that the menu needed more updates. Like I know that this restaurant is Halal but just mentioning one item Halal doesn't make sense. Either remove that and put a Halal sign on top or add for every one of the items. For the foods the ribs and mozzarella cheese stick was amazing!

Yelp
This place is outstanding. A-Burn is on a roll. We need more just like Addy's. Food was great. Service was excellent. Menu is long and varied. Not Cheesecake Factory long but offering a nice variety of very tasty bbq. We live in Virginia for G's sake. We should have very solid bbq. And with Addy's, we have another great place to order out after a tough week of commuting and working. Great job. Jbloom.

Yelp
Was looking for some BBQ in Loudoun County, and decided to give this place a try! I've never had halal BBQ before, but their brisket and beef bacon sandwich was very flavorful and had great texture. The restaurant had a very cozy ambiance, complimented by the motorcycle parked near the front window, belonging to the owner. Speaking of which, he was a very nice man with a clear passion for food. It seems this business is relatively new, but I highly recommend it! One of the best local restaurants in Ashburn for sure, definitely returning!

Yelp
10/10!!! This place is AMAZING!!! Truly one of the best halal bbq places in the DMV by far!! I really enjoyed their loaded fries and bacon burger. The meat was very tasty and moist, as well as super fresh. The front of house was super welcoming and sweet. Definitely would recommend.
