A lovely place to stay in the national park for a very reasonable price. The view from the balcony was lovely and the room was a very decent size. The restaurant was pretty good too serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. My only complaint was that my air conditioning unit didn't work. Admittedly I didn't ask the staff if they knew what was wrong but I was only there for a night and was able to cool down enough by opening the door to the balcony. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice staff, location, and parking is widely available. Breakfast could improve, but overall this deserves to be more than a two star hotel.

The balcony view and size was the best thing about this hotel. The room was very clean, had air con (needed during this time) and the front desk staff were lovely and helpful. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, it’s small but I believe there is enough variety.||||Location wise, it’s very close to central Gerês. By car, you are very close to the main features around (Miradouro Mirante, Cascata Tahiti, Cascata do Arado, Miradouro Pedra Bela). We did not have a car, but managed to walk the majority of these places. The furthest place took 2-3 hours from the hotel to Cascata do Arado. This was fine if you came to hike! No uber in the area but the front desk can order taxis easily (we got a taxi to Cascata Tahiti only).||||The pool is probably a 15 minute walk from the hotel and really nice. It’s 2 euros to rent a sun bed for the entire day. The views surrounding the outdoor pool are great.||||Really recommend this place!

Hotel is situation in a great location within Peneda-Gerês National Park. ||Nice size room with sofa and large bed, although the bed is a bit too hard. Bathroom clean but needs an update. Great views from the bedroom balcony. Friendly and Helpful staff on reception for suggests of places to eat and things to do in the area etc. ||You can eat dinner at the hotel (we ate out so can not comment on dinner at the hotel) but its only a short walk into the village for restaurants if you are staying a few nights and want to try a different atmosphere and food selection. ||Downsides: ||The Breakfast. The selection of food available was lacking. Only one type of sliced bread, croissants and jams. A couple of types of cereals, but no cooked breakfast available and only 1 x cold meat (ham) and 1 x hard cheese on a plate and some fruit. However, the biggest disappointment with breakfast was that we wanted to enjoy it sitting out on the balcony of the dinning area that overlooks the valley but the staff would not let us. This was rediculous as there were only guests on four or five tables eating breakfast at the time and we all had to sit inside in a rather bland & shadded room - such a pity not to be able to experience the view from the tables on the balcony enjoying the morning sunshine. ||Swimming Pool: Its large and clean great facility but downside its not on site. Infact it is the other side of the valley. You can view it from the Bedroom balcony in the distance. I would not suggest walking to it. We had a car but I think the hotel offer a lift over there but only at select times. ||Despite this we would return as our overall experience was enjoyable.

It's a simple and familiar Hotel in a good location with lovely views over Gerês Natural Park.||The rooms are not that big but everything is clean.||All the meals are searved in the restaurant that's part of the Hotel. The tables near the windows have a great view over the Mountains. Breakfast is nice with everything you need to start the day. The dinner is great in quality and variety.||The pool is great but the water is very cold in the early morning. Also you have a lot of space to get sunbaths in the grass surrounding the pool. There's only one downside, the pool is on the other side of the city. So you need to desecend towards the village and then climb up the hill on the other side, but walk is pleasent enough.||In the town you can find the tourist office with info and things to do during your stay.||||If your into relaxing from the stress this is the place to go...

Excellent location, helpful staff, covid awareness, and good food in restaurant. The room was exceptional, clean, everything worked, plenty of hot water and extra. Bedding. Would recommend for all travelers who want a clean and quiet location with a great view of the valley.
