Adelaide Paringa

My family of four members stayed there and we feel like it's good for what we have paid for. Need to give more preferences for the cleanliness. The front staff was nice and helpful. If anyone is looking for the cheaper accommodation such as travelers, I feel like it's worth it. Please clean the small table, and bathrooms properly it doesn't take that long for the cleaners. Overall, it's a good experience. We stayed outside for the whole day, ate and went for sleep. Price is very reasonable as compared to other hotels and motels. Thank you

It's a great location. The interior is being renovated for a modern look. Rooms are spacious yet not more than is needed. They are not plush, but I look for a clean environment and comfortable beds. Great lighting in the bathroom for women to do their make-up, which is important. I have already made my next booking and will certainly look for Adelaide Paringa to be my regular place to stay.

If I hadn't had such a positive first impression at reception with Sarah upon check in I may have looked elsewhere, rooms are in DESPERATE need of renovations, I cannot fault the cleaners, my room was surprisingly clean considering how old and out dated everything is, coffee mugs, kettle etc immaculate. The staff really made the difference between me leaving a 2/3 star rating and a 5, purely from their efforts upon reception and the clear aim to make the rooms as clean as possible despite the age of everything.

Great location! Right in the centre of the city, it's super convenient. However, the big bath was dusty, and the spa function was no longer working. Still dirty in the pipe. The lady reception is friendly and helpful, the first night when we checked in late at night, power point on the wall not working, she tried to help but could not fix, however next day it was fixed without us asking. If all these could be fixed, it would be 5 🌟

On a spontaneous trip, my friend and I choose this beautiful old motel, city centre location and wonderful area. Saira the main receptionist is a wonderful, friendly, expectational women who gave us an excellent experience - making sure we were okay, giving us support and encouragement. She made the entire trip lovely 🥰 The rooms were an amazing size, however bathroom facilities could be updated. Overall amazing trip and experience by all employees of Adelaide Paringa.

Unfortunately, our experience at Adelaide Paringa was completley disappointing. We were supposed to stay for 11 nights but left half way because of the state of the room. The place wasn’t clean, there were safety concerns (gaps around power outlets), the shower leaked onto the carpet, and we found a used bandaid under the bed. The sheets didn’t seem fresh at all. Photos they have are also totally misleading in terms of how updated and clean the rooms are. We reached out to management with photos and a refund request and were completely ignored, even to this day. We had to go through the booking platform to get a response and eventually were awarded a refund. It’s disappointing to see them responding to public reviews but ignoring private complaints.

Very old run down property. Staff friendly bed okay room was noisy but we did change rooms. Some rooms at the back of property were very dark and dingy. Maintenance were drilling early in the morning for hours in the room next door prior warning would have been nice and not so early in the morning. Room 406 broken shower glass and bathroom door doesn't shut vanity needs replacing. Sofa beds to disgusting to sit on. Invest in new couches for all rooms very dirty and old falling apart.

The bed was comfortable and bigger than expected. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work even though there was a notice stating that the steam would set off their fire alarms - this issue was quickly resolved and a new fan was installed. The water pressure in the shower was not great - made a recommendation for this to be improved. Parking is not onsite nor is it included in the price of the room. Having it listed as a “feature” on the hotel is misleading. The parking is down and across the street so I advise trying to stop near the alley way entrance to unload your luggage then park. Blinds & curtains completely block out the light - we loved that. David and Jethro were both helpful, kind and friendly.

Central location close to everything. The rooms & decor are dated and the bathrooms could do with a revamp, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms pretty well appointed for the price of the rooms. The central location is perfect 100m to a tram stop and 150m to Rundle Mall and all the cafes and restaurants down Hindley St. The staff are friendly and accommodating to your needs. My only tip is ask for a back room on the weekends as it can be quite noisy at the front.

Not what I would exactly say the room/amenities are of a great standard considering the price of the stay!!
