Rooms are adequate, tea and coffee and biscuits, complimentary. Bathroom well supplied, with soap, shampoo, conditioner and shaving foam. This is very good for a hotel of this star rating. No food on site. Which helps you go out and explore and lots of food nearby after a short or long walk, depending on preference. Location of hotel is perfect for access to transport in all directions and airport only 20 minutes drive.

It's a lovely quaint place, and has quite old bathrooms but they are super clean and everything is neat. The rooms are very cold even with the heating on, now in July. The pillows smell of probably every person who had slept on them. Need to consider a new cleaning contract for pillows and blankets? Also, no warm blankets for winter. Otherwise, location is great and the concierge staff are friendly.

One of the worst places I have ever had the misfortune to book. From the humiliation in the foyer on arrival to the broken shower head that sprays the whole bathroom with water to the tv remote where all the information on the buttons is rubbed off making the television inoperable. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. They know how bad it is that’s why they have signs in the lifts asking you not to swear at their staff, but they won’t actually do anything about anything, just a shrug of the shoulders and a meek acknowledgement that they know things aren’t right.

The Riviera is a very nice place, rooms clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable, towels and linen all very good. Car park was $25 per night, a bit expensive. Close to railway station and the Adelaide oval.

Centrally located but quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size clean rooms but no view in our two. No restaurant but plenty with walking distance (the food hall in the hospital opposite is open to all and has good food). The airport bus stops a couple of streets away at the rear of the hotel, less than five minutes walk.

Between 6am and 11pm, there will be a plane taking off every few minutes. It's not too bad during the day but early hours in the morning or late in the evening, they can get very loud. The rooms can do with better sound proofing and perhaps double glazing on the windows and balcony sliding doors. The street that leads to the car park and back entrance is not safe after dark. There is also no access control to different floors. Anyone can get up the lift through to any level. The only security that protects us is the door to the room. I still score this hotel 4 stars for its very reasonable room rates. The location is also amazing as everything is just conveniently located within walking distance. There is also a tram stop in front of the hotel main entrance in case walking is not your thing. The staff was very friendly and greeted me every time I walked pass the front desk.

Arrived after flight from Canberra, settled in and went walking around town. The reception area is manned by very friendly and efficient staff who are very proactive. We were only there for one night as we were off to Kangaroo Island for a tour. Reception were happy to store our main luggage while we were away. After tour we arrived back near midnight and had to move on - reception called us a taxi and once again demonstrated excellent service. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Adelaide

The property is tidy but it’s not soundproof, you can hear the voice from other room and also outside. The good thing about staff are friendly and polite. The location is nearly at the end of the cbd if you prefer a little quite and far from noisy surroundings especially in cbd it’s a great place to stay.

Yelp
The comfort hotel in Adelaide is a great place to stay when visiting. Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel is right on the free tram line, so it was convenient to get anywhere in the city. There were also cute restaurants and areas to go walking nearby to the hotel. I would stay there again.

Yelp
All aspects of my stay were great, Rebecca on reception was so helpful and friendly on my early arrival, free M/C secure parking at the rear was also a bonus with me. Short walk to all you need to have a awesome meal or a relaxing beer or two.

Yelp
So it doesn't look as nice from the outside...........but it's much better once you go inside! They primarily do accomodation, conferences and weddings but am sure they could assist with any function at all. They do serve breakfast and dinner 7 days a week from their restaurant but with so many choices in the city unless you are really lazy, which then you would order room service anyway, I doubt many would use the restaurant. They do have free Wi-Fi but only in the communal area's it seems, like the lobby and restaurant. In the rooms they have broadband internet access. Speaking of rooms - they have a huge selection here. They basically have standard, deluxe, family and spa rooms (both standard and executive suites) plus a Honeymoon suite. They've got a great online booking site with heaps of special deals or packages available. My favourite tho.........the "secret room". Basically it is usually whatever they have available, but it can be anything not already booked or cancelled at the last minute. So they are usually really cheap (under $100 a night) but the secret is - you don't find out what room you get until you check in - it could be a standard room, which is fine for the price, or it could be an executive suite. The excitement of this novelty makes me want to just go book one now!

Yelp
Enjoying a wonderful stay at the Adelaide Riviera! The staff are extremely professional very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic location close to restaurants, entertainment, shops etc - with trams close by to move you around the city. The room is immaculately clean with everything you need and more. Highly recommended!
