We had a queen room upgraded to a king. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated and finished. A spotless bathroom and a balcony. Perfect for our overnight stay. Parking in the basement was super convenient. A big thanks to Ricky who checked us in.

On arrival I was upgraded to a King Suite, which was a lovely large room with nice decor. The room had a business desk, which is so important if you're travelling for work. Had room service one night, the dinner was delicious and the serves are very generous. The next night I went to the dining room and the staff were fantastic. The dish I chose was so delicious again. They offer complimentary drinks too. I love the fact that if you choose not to have your room clean, they give you a $10 voucher for dinner. There are lots of hidden extras. I did have an issue with a broken tap fitting which I reported the first morning and when I came back that afternoon, it was like new. There is something weird with the carpets in the room - it feels like it is glued to bumpy concrete and no underlay.

I had a great stay at the Rockford. From the time of check-in until check out I was made to feel very welcome and all of the team looked after me superbly. Special mention to the guys on the front desk / check-in who sorted out a few issues for me quickly and very efficiently and also a special mention to Ms Jane in the bar / F&B team for her friendly and exemplary service during my stay. Very impressed by the team and I will now be making this my preferred stay in Adelaide!

The rooms have been thoroughly, tastefully refurnished. All the service was excellent. I was there mid week, and the area was nice and quiet even with the balcony door open. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The day before we arrived we got personalised emails and even a phone call to see if there was anything we needed.||We arrived very early for checkin. Kim looked after us very well and was super helpful. Our luggage was securely stored while we grabbed lunch. Kim even rang us when our room was ready. (Before usual checkin time.)||Upon return she apologised that she had been too busy to take our bags to our room. We’re off to a great start.||Our room was ok. Sort of like an older Mercure. Large tv, wifi quite good, spacious room. Silly glass door on the bathroom so turning on the bathroom light at night shines light through the room. Clean and comfortable.||The aircon is weird. It’s located inside a wall unit above the tv. You need to open the wall unit door to get the remote to work. (Push just above the tv to get it to open.)||Dinner was ok (they give you a free drink voucher with each main course and Accor Plus is accepted). Nice background music.||Our room faced a main road into the city so we needed ear plugs.||Breakfast was quite good.||Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful.

Accor Plus member gave me happy room upgrade at Reception.|Huge King Deluxe Suite very comfortable and spacious.|Microwave oven welcome in morning as had dinner leftovers for breakfast.|Enjoyed the rooftop pool after happy hour to swim & watch sun setting.|Walk in shower appreciated as nursing an injury.|Staff all cheerful, helpful and attentive. Will return one day with partner.|One strange note is King Bed was two singles pushed together (middle bump).|Otherwise no complaints. Great accommodation at the nicer west end of Hindley.

A great hotel, it's quiet and calm, the perfect place to go back to after a long day. The rooms are well set out, and the bed and furniture are great. My only gripe would be that the TV (in our room at least) wasn’t a smart TV, so you could only get the free to air channels, which on longer stays like ours can be a pain. The bar and restaurant are fantastic, happy hour between 4.30 and 6 each night has drinks as cheap as $7 a piece, including some spirits, and the food is absolutely top tier, the best food I've had in a long time, I can't remember the last meal I had that was as good. My wife and I tasted each other's meals to get some variety, and everything was perfectly cooked, great flavour choices, and portion sizes. The prices are a little high, but well worth it if you're able to pay them. They often have bonuses like a free drink with your main meal, which you won't know about until you sit down. Overall it is a great hotel, the free breakfasts were also delicious.

Check-in was seamless. The room was spacious but the floor was uneven, covered with a carpet that was sewn in places. The TV was small for the room size and had no good movie channels. The moisturising lotion in the washroom was empty and was not refilled during our stay. The dimmer for the room lighting was not working. Asked to book a taxi for the airport in advance but no taxi arrived in the morning and I had to look for a taxi at 04:30 am. (The reception at Rockford is not 24 hours and there is no one to help you in early morning hours). The good things: Very comfortable bed and the central location. We probably will not stay at Adelaide Rockford again as the quality was far below Novotel standards.
