Service is pretty good. They told us where to park for free for the whole stay and the tram is for free as well (from and to certain stops). Rooms very basic and our room smelled weird. Blanket and stuff were clean. Rooms got AC and very few powerplugs. 27$ per night in a 10 bed dorm (too much if you ask me.). Huge community room with books, many couches and tables, TV and Wifi, which was very very slow though. Very calm and quit atmosphere in the week, don't know about the weekends. The other guests are very friendly and helpful too. Kitchen was pretty good and clean, but the amount of space in the fridge was little. Toilets have been cleaned every day, but some of the other guests couldn't clean up after themselves which was disgusting. The location was pretty good and central, but the parking situation is terrible (well, it's central Adelaide). It's easier to stay there without having a car.

We got a good deal on this room. It's basic, as you'd expect. There are several charging ports and a desk. The whole feel of the accommodation is quite eerie, as if it was used for a hospital in the past. The location is central, and a few streets away to the seemingly main street with pubs, clubs etc. Downstairs there is a tuck shop which is useful when you don't want to go out to a shop, the prices are not bad (I paid $2.80 for a can of Sanpellegrino). The guy at the front desk was very nice and answered questions we had about the area.

Would not recommend. On one hand you get what you pay for, the facilities are mostly decent considering what you pay (shower could use an update). The location is okay and the building is pretty secure. There are lockers available on a first come first serve basis, but remember to bring your own padlock. On the other hand, exceptionally abhorrent customer service. As in the worst I've come across anywhere. Not the start you want to a holiday, that's for sure. Greeted with a lecture about using an online booking site when I stepped into the venue. Offered them a few suggestions, to help resolve the issue of the evil booking site overlords, and got shot down. Place wasn't the cleanest. Pretty low atmosphere. If you're tight on your budget, take a chance with the customer service roulette wheel. Keep in mind it's only cheap if you don't want any extras, doing laundry or having a drink will start hitting your wallet pretty excessively. Otherwise I'd shop around you can probably get better value for your dollars elsewhere if you spend a little more upfront. TL;DR Good: Cheap Bad: Customer service, cleanliness, excessive extra costs (laundry, alcohol)

Nothing special, but we had a fine experience with this hostel. My friend and I booked a 4 person room and had it to ourselves the whole time, which was very nice. The beds were exceptionally big, so that was a huge plus. Bathrooms were overall clean. The room doors lock on their own so be sure to keep your key with you at all times. The kitchen is also very spacious with a large lounge area and tv. Lots of books and dvds you can borrow. Wifi is not free, but it's pretty cheap if you need it for a day or two. The guys at the front desk were very nice. I got very sick during my stay and had to be transported to the hospital, and they were super helpful. They checked in on me to make sure I was okay and offered any help if needed. They gave us lots of directions to good food and shopping in the town.

Perfect! Very chilled out, no noisy idiots who want to constantly get smashed. Staff were so friendly and helpful - they gave us great advice on nearby parking, cheap food, job searching and what there is to see and do in Adelaide. For an extra few dollars, you get speedy WiFi and a decent breakfast! The kitchen, along with the rooms and communal areas, is very spacious with all kitchen supplies readily available without having to pay a deposit. Only a couple of blocks away from the main shopping and bars area.

The hostel is relatively clean and well located, but there seems to be little control over guests' behaviour and noise levels. Some common areas are located right outside of bedrooms, which allows for people to party until 4 in the morning with little regards to other guests. I would rate the hostel higher if only I could've slept more than a few hours.

Very run down hostel... Rude staff, rooms are over crowded and showers are not working properly, yet they charge you $30 for a night. Laundry is overpriced and there is no way to dry your clothes unless you want to spend a fortune on using the dryer which isn't great for all types of clothes either. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.
