ADGE Hotel & Residences Sydney Surry Hills

Spent 2 weeks here for work. Great service even when the place is busy, which says a lot. Paul the GM clearly knows what he's doing. Reception staff are super friendly, always a good start and end to the day. Location in Surry Hills is perfect, everything within walking distance. Room design is cool, quirky without trying too hard (the desk kinda sucks tho). The mattress... seriously comfortable, slept better here than I do at home! Only small note: room cleaning wasn't always consistent, but honestly everything else more than makes up for it. Big plus having Golosa right downstairs for breakfast and coffee every morning. Would come back without hesitation.

Such helpful, and accommodating staff, and a very easy check in and out process. Great location close to Oxford St, and a short walk to the CBD area - with an amazing cafe downstairs - also with lovely and welcoming staff. And fantastic coffee! Rooms are great, we had a King room which was cosy but perfect for two. Bright and colorful, very funky, just like the rest of the hotel - it’s all very arty. Comfy bed, amazing pillows, and black out curtains all made for a great sleep. Will definitely be back for my next Sydney trip.

The price for value is excellent here. The place is super funky but clean and it's in an excellent location. I had a king bed room and it was comfortable (aside from the pillows being incredibly balloonish for some reason). Small note, the elevator was incredibly slow haha. All in all it has everything I need from a hotel, and I would stay here again.

I cannot say how friendly and amazing the Team is at the hotel. I have been staying just over a week and as first time to Sydney I needed extract information as to what best to see. Thank you Paul and I think other guy was Haig who spent a lot of time giving me amazing recommendations. The rooms are so alive with colour and I must say get a room with a Balcony as the extra space and the fresh air is so nice Thank you ADGE team we will be back

Amazing experience — great hotel, fantastic location, and a lovely coffee shop. The only downside was that the bathroom in our room was very open. I’m sure this was a deliberate design choice and it worked fine for us as a couple, but it might feel a bit too open if you’re not travelling with a partner. Aside from that, everything was fantastic.

Excellent hotel, friendly and efficient staff, ideal location. Decor is interesting, facilities such as the cafe and bar are excellent. Towels are rather thin (not fluffy) but that's really nit-picking on my part. This is a very good place to stay, especially considering the price, which is reasonable by Sydney standards. I have stayed here on three separate occasions now, this is definitely my hotel of choice in Sydney. Recommended.

The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, cool shops and coffee shops within short walking distance, and also not far from the city. We arrived early, and was initially a bit put off by the indifferent (borderline unfriendly) greeting by the guy at reception. He however allowed us to check in early (we arrived around 8am), offered to upgrade us for a small fee. The room was just okay, had a fridge and bath tub which was nice for us, and a balcony. Appreciated the daily cleaning service. Recommended places to check out in the area: Paramount Coffee Project (their avocado toast is delicious), Single O coffee, cool shops along Fitzroy Street (we bought some nice Mud ceramics), and the coffee just at the lobby entrance of the hotel.

Had a medical emergency and the hotel was amazing. Thanks to Paul who worked with me for rooms with family and without it took that part of the stress away. If you find yourself with someone in st Vincent hospital I highly recommend you contact this hotel. Thankyou to all the staff for being so lovely. By the way good rooms
