The location was a great fit for me. It was not very busy in the evening when I arrived, which made things quite relaxing. It is also right across the road from the NSW Police building, so the area felt safe and central. There was staff at the reception even around 11 at night, and they were very friendly.
There is a small cafe downstairs in the lobby that serves breakfast. It was a bit busy when I went, but there are plenty of other nice cafes within a short walking distance, so options are not a problem.
The hotel itself is very colourful. I am not sure what the exact theme is, but it gives off a graffiti-like vibe. From the lobby to the elevator to the rooms, they have maintained this bright and creative style throughout, which makes the place feel lively and different.
I stayed in a Queen room, and it was clean and tidy. The room was small but cozy, with colourful velvet carpets that added warmth. It had all the standard amenities, including a mini fridge and USB-A charging ports. The view was of another building, but that was not really a concern.
Overall, it is a lovely boutique hotel with a cheerful atmosphere and a convenient location.
