AdHoc Hostel

The receptionists I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. You get a complimentary bath towel upon checking in. The room I booked is 4-bed dormitory and it is quite spacious, as you can see from the pictures. The storage lockers are big enough and comfortable and you use your room key to lock them. The room was very clean and looked fresh. The place has a small shared kitchen on the first floor, where you can find a kettle, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and some dishes and cutlery. My room was on the first floor at the back, facing central but not so busy street. They do not have Female/Male only dormitories but the receptionist assure me that they are trying their best to keep the genders separate. For example, we were 3 girls in our room and only 1 boy, and the room next to us was 4 boys. The place is right the centre of Ljubljana. It is perfect location for exploring. You do not need public transport, really as everything is nearby. The bus stop for the airport is 15 min walk away.

Location is absolutely perfect - right by the river in the centre. The staff are all absolutely lovely, very helpful and kind. You get a free bath towel to use during your stay. Although it’s listed with no kitchen, there is a fridge, dishwasher, sink, kettle and microwave which helps to make some meals / keep food fresh. Beds are comfortable, lots of facilities which are always clean. I’d definitely recommend this as a hostel!

Mattress and pillow were very comfy, it is a beautiful place to stay, the staff were great and I really enjoyed! Also very convenient, just a few steps from the main area where you wish to explore, bus stops 5min away. The only downside of it, no dinning table in the kitchen. But there are plenty places for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great Hostel, Good Location, Helpful staff. Lot of Maps and Tour Brochures at the Reception. Kitchen and all utensils are available. Large Lockers, Clean Washrooms. Overall it was a nice Experience. Small Sitting place /Common Lounge at the Ground Floor and also outside each Floor| Highly recommended

Great location in the middle of all the restaurants at the river. It was easy to find and only 15min away from the bus station. The receptionist was incredibly kind and sweet. She recommended the free city tour guide and had good knowledge on other activities and locations. They are also well prepared with restaurant recommendations, things to do in Slovenia and support with bus ticket (QR code to the website, printing). Every floor has a bathroom with 3 toilets, showers and sinks. The room was quite big, tidy and the lockers had lots of storage for backpacks etc. My room was equipped with 4 beds, a fan, 2 chairs and a coffee table. The kitchen was very clean as well. There were several chill areas: one next to the kitchen, the other one downstairs next to the reception (with desks, chairs books, sokets and a nice view). The Wifi worked well anywhere. It is also possible to leave the luggage in the hostel, if needed. 10/10

This might be a hostel by definition, but the experience I had, was hotel-like. Whether you decide to sleep in a dormitory room, or a private room, expect hygiene and all other services on a highest level! All praises to Miha, the man responsible behind the impeccable organization, and the whole team as well. The location of the hostel is another thing, centrally located, and walking distance to all major landmarks, museums, pubs, bars, restaurants, etc. in Ljubljana. P.S. If looking for a party hostel, avoid it, this is more laid back and hostel for a well rest after a whole day exploring the surroundings. I will be visiting again for sure, highly recommend it!

The receptionist explained to me that even though they don’t have a Female or Male only dormitories they try to separate people which was evident, as our neighbouring room had 4 boys in it.|The room was spacious and do were the lockers.|A lot of bathrooms and toilets on site.|There is also small shared kitchen area on the first floor.|The only downside would be the noice from the street and the noice from the kitchen if your room is on the first floor.

Best place for solo travelers I stayed here for 5 days & would come back for my future trips as well. The location was perfect and the staffs were super nice. My only discomfort was I got the room at 4th floor, I had to walk the stairs everytime and the bathrooms were super small. Only at the end of my stay, I realised 3rd floor bathroom was huge. Other than that, I had a great experience here :)
