I had a very nice stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located near the city center in the old town. The lockers can be secured with a key card. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, which might be an issue if you have large, heavy bags. While the cleanliness was acceptable, it wasn't spotless. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this hostel!

Perfect location. Right on the heart of the pedestrian and historical Ljubljana, yet very quiet, as most bars and restaurants around seem to close at 11pm. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Everything clean and cozy atmosphere. Basic kitchen with microwave and toaster, enough for breakfast, but no cooking. Super kind service.

We just stayed for a night, but it was perfect for us. Adhoc is very centrally located with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. It doesn't feel like your traditional hostel - there isn't really a backpackers vibe and there are limited kitchen amenities - this isn't something we were looking for but might matter to others. The rooms are a good size and the shared bathroom area is extremely clean and well equipped. The location is perfect - right on the river with tons of shops, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Had stayed here for a week. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in the city centre by the banks of Ljublancia river. You can find hundreds of restaurants nearby. You cannot drive your car to the hostel. But a walk of 5 to 10 minutes is a worth one. The hostel has amenities like refrigerator, oven and toaster. You can cook your own food. Also they have coffee and tea kit for free. The toilet is maintained well with toilet parts and shower gels. Overall I had wonderful experience here.

AdHoc was a great stay. It’s a very basic hostel (no fancy lounge or services) with really great amenities for a traveler. They offered me a luggage room, bicycle storage in the basement, and a free towel. I also met nice dorm mates!

I stayed in a private room with my husband which was spacious, had air-conditioning and a cupboard to store our bags. The split blankets is annoying when sleeping together and the waffle texture on the pillows were uncomfortable on my face and ears. Bed sunk in a bit which didn't make it the most comfy sleep. The hallways were relatively quiet during our 2 nights. The bathrooms were spacious and not crowded. The staff are 10/10. So friendly to help out and nice. Great location of the hostel. Was worried it was going to be loud from the street at night but it wasn't. A bit sad that there wasn't more of a kitchen as self catering facilities was advertised

We were in a private room that was generously sized with a nice window to a somewhat quiet street, wardrobe in room, double bed, desk and chair and air conditioning. Very nice to see climate control at this price. What let this hostel down was the sheets and pillow covers being a waffled texture, because they were not very soft it was uncomfortable to sleep on. The bed was not well supported so the mattress bowed significantly while sleeping with myself and my wife on it, together we weigh less than 90kg so a very light couple. Larger people would be significantly more uncomfortable than we were on this bed. The bathrooms were ok, some drainage issues caused by poor design caused significant amounts of water to go out of the shower area onto the floor. Poor ventilation caused the bathrooms to be stuffy when people showered. Noise from the bathrooms pollute the halls as there is no door to the bathroom area so you can hear this from all rooms on all floors. The "self catering facilities" is nothing but a microwave and sandwich press which is very disappointing as most people interpret this as more. I would describe that as misleading. Beyond this the staff are lovely and the location is great and we did not have issues with noise apart from our neighbours either side our room being english who are notoriously inconsiderate to others. This is not the hostels fault though. Would recommend to friends.

A decent clean place to stay, though it is not really a hostel as it has no proper cooking facilities and doesn't seem to be interested in the backpacker experience. Staff are friendly, but clearly decisions are being made from owners with profit only in mind. Needs some maintenance and even just a little consideration to provide better facilities to those staying - it would cost very little. Location is great but you'll struggle to keep budget with only a microwave to cook. The kitchenette is just a microwave, a fridge, a broken dishwasher and a toastie maker from the 1980s. And yeh, the duvet/pillow covers are very strange choices.
