Amymone and Adiandi, a Design Boutique Hotel Nafplion, Greece

"Right in Nafplion’s Old Town, Amymone and Adiandi’s uniquely styled rooms have free Wi-Fi. They are situated in the classical part of the city, behind the church of Saint Nickolas. Combining tradition with modern style, the boutique mansions Amymone and Adiandi offer tasteful rooms with wooden floors and ceilings, hydromassage showers and modern art. DVD/CD players are featured in all rooms. A Greek breakfast, including fresh pies and cakes, homemade jams and sweets, local honey and cheese, is served until late at noon at Adiandi building located 15 metres away. This can be enjoyed at the guest’s room or at the breakfast room. Both buildings of Amymone and Adiandi are located on the same pedestrian zone with a 10-metre distance from each other. They are very close to the free parking area at the town's port, the old town and only a block from the harbor. Nearby, you will also find restaurants, cafes and shops." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

The breakfast is incredible and the lady behind the reception is very kind. Due to my own messy brain and our airlines delaying us, we had to postpone our booking a couple of times. We were charged full for all nights which is kind of fair since the hotel did nothing wrong. But yeah paying for 4 nights and staying only 1 is never fun. A small discount for not using the breakfast would have been appreciated.

We were so pleased with the location of this hotel, and looked forward to staying in the fun artistic space. We stayed in the loft in the Amymone. It was so cute. We were offered another room without the limited headspace, but chose to keep this room at the top of 54 steps (my husband counted) because of the outdoor space and partial water view. As it is split across 2 or 3 buildings, we struggled to find the place to check in. Once that was accomplished (across from Wild Duck, by the way), it was smooth sailing. A welcome drink was offered, and bottled water available in the room. Breakfast in the same space was generous and included lovely fruit, yogurt, and honey, as well as other delicious options. When we return to Napflio, we would happily stay at the Adiandi and Amymone again. It was a wonderful and cozy home base for our adventures.

Right in the heart of old town. Park in the public parking which is only a 3 minute walk. Ambience, atmosphere, and vibe incredible. Breakfast is so good!! Great espresso and cappuccino. Highly recommend!

I made a reservation directly on their website for which I gave payment details and validated. I received then a confirmation email and a message from the hotel. A month later I get a notice from my bank for a fraudulent debit attempt on my card that was rejected. I noticed the fraudulent card payment was from this hotel. I sent them a message for explanation and checked if my reservation was debited, it was not. They came up with this absurd story that they can debit my card any time after the reservation and that I need to pay by bank transfer. The amount they tried to debit did not even correspond to the amount for my reservation. Also I noticed that all the mails came from gmail account just with the hotel name. This all was very suspicious so I refused to make a bank transfer and I asked for a secure payment with the reservation details. They proposed as a “good solution for both parties” to book on booking which of course was 36% higher than my original reservation. This is a scam to make you pay more if they see their reservation filling up after your booking. If you want a secure booking you should be aware of this. PS: In response to the crooked answer the hotel posted, please note that the offensive language came after they crooked me and ruined my plans. It was well deserved to be called what they are.

This hotel is perfectly located in the historic center of Nafplio. Rooms are cozy, we had a balcony into one of the busy alleys yet it wasn’t noisy at all. Breakfast is Greek, and very delicious. Definitely recommend!

We loved Nafplio and this great little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town, an easy walk from the public car park at the port. We were in Adiandi. Stylish in an arty, bo-ho chic kind of way, very comfortable bed. Breakfast is across the street in the hotel’s excellent restaurant, Wild Duck, where we also had dinner twice. Jelena was always friendly and helpful. Napflio is a cool town, smart and stylish and the old town has been really well preserved. Highly recommend a visit.

This place is such a gem - it’s located in a great spot, quick, easy walk to the gulf to see the water, and quick, easy walk the other way to city center. It’s surrounded by restaurants and bars, plenty of places to go, and breakfast (included in your stay) is delicious. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable and cozy, and the rooms are immaculate, adorably quirky, and very comfortable. The air conditioning works great, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful. The staff is so nice and friendly, they were all super welcoming and kind, and also let us leave our bags with them after checking out to wander Nafplio a bit more before we had to leave, I would recommend this place to anyone and would happily stay here again.

WARNING TO EVERYONE: This company adds extra charges for things that were never part of the original agreement. They send invoices in Greek, making it difficult for non-Greek speakers to understand, and then expect payment. Do not pay them directly without double-checking every detail. In my experience, they look for any opportunity to add unfair charges, without hesitation. Be very cautious if you choose to deal with them. Update: In response to the owner’s reply—claiming that I offended or insulted them—this is completely untrue. I was simply indignant about being charged extra without prior notice. Where I come from, and as common sense (and legal requirements) dictate, any changes to an agreement must be communicated in advance.
