We have chosen Adina in Budapest because we have stayed in other Adina hotel apartments for many years ( the one in Hamburg is fantastic ). After the booking was made we received a message that the is renovation in the building, but we won’t be affected ( well we were, the elevator is covered like construction site, the carpets in the corridors have construction dust, the workers are quite loud, there is smell of paint , and our rooms had a strange odor ). Which perhaps would have been ok, if maybe it was reflected in the price ….. or you were given a compliment for all the inconvenience - but NO, that was definitely not the case. The breakfast was one of the most basic ones, super limited selection - for 20 Eurs per person ! The day after we left we received an email with request to fill in a payment form for 2.50 Eurs for the small bottle water they forgot to charge at the check out……… this was really disappointing.
From the positive - the pool was super nice and our daughter really enjoyed it. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
