Very experienced guest. 60K views on Tripadvisor.|Stayed here 3 nights with partner. VIP guest on Hotels.com. Room upgrade included in my reservation.||Requested a view and a high floor. Important for us, |The hotel wanted me to pay another 150 dollars for this. |We are visiting from the other side of the world! Isn’t this a great opportunity to promote the hotel to European guests?||Arrived at the hotel. Got a room on a low floor , no balcony, with views to a parking lot and a roof. Second room offered one floor up but still a view towards the back of the hotel. Dark and depressing.||Asked for the manager.||Henri finally helped us to get the apartment with the best views. Thanks Henri! We would have left if you hadn’t helped us out.||The view and the location was unfortunately the only thing we liked about the apartment.||Cons:|Apartment old and worn.|Black out curtains didn’t cover the whole window. Strong light in the eyes every morning.|Wall-to-wall carpet that smelled bad. Mould?|AirCondition with a musty smell. Bad air quality. AC in bedroom not adjustable.||Expensive mini bar with the prices placed very hard to find.|One night a false fire alarm goes off at 2 am. Fine - but don’t keep talking in the speaker for an hour after this!||Pool area small and not appealing. This kind of hotel should have a nicer pool for the guests. Don’t be fooled by the pictures showing the lagoon outside the hotel. The entrance is here 8 dollars.|No cleaning offered during our stay.|No breakfast included.||The absolutely worst part of our stay was though the constant smoking on the balconies qround us, and the smoke that were coming into our room. The smell was weed - for sure. Horrible!|Alerted the reception but nothing happened. No response.|The hotel is absolutely not - not smoking!||We don’t have any desire to stay at this hotel again. |Cannot recommend.

Apartments make stays away from home much easier. Better amenities & easier to be a little more self sufficient. You also don't have to clean the place before you leave with the threat of a cleaning bill (AirBnB style) The room was very generous in size & layout. Appreciated the 24hr reception/check-in & air-con being on when arrived at 1am (delayed flight). Waterfront is great area if staying with kids - the wave pool (small fee payable) & the croc free swimming area popular in warmer weather. ||The hotel restaurant was disappointing, it felt like they rely on people dining there & can charge to room. Drinks from their bar by the pool was a great idea. We were there in the wet season, so the place felt empty - but the prices don't reflect this.

Stayed here 19/11 - 22/11.|Seems impressive with its location.||Wanted a room with a view and high up. On arrival we were given the 2nd floor above the hotel entrance without a balcony. Went downstairs and informed that this room was not okay. Another attempt, this time on the highest floor. The floor had a balcony but the view was towards a wall. We had a congratulations upgrade via the booking page subject to room availability. Asked about a room facing the sea if there was one and got the answer yes but that they cost 50 Aud/night. informed them about the congrats upgrade and then got a reply that it only applies higher floors. We were then ready to leave. The staff then summoned the manger. The manager named Henry is a pleasant person with a feeling for the customer. He showed us a room with a sea view. We thanked for the help and felt satisfied. However, the joy was short-lived as smoke from Vipés and other sweet smells ruined the balcony stay for three days. ||Prons:|The View.|Dishwasher.|Large washing machine.|Dryer.|Proximity to the lagoon.|Proximity to the center.||Cons:|Expensive breakfast 30 Aud|Rooms are worn.|Carpets in rooms.|The ventilation in the bedroom cannot be switched off.|The smell of smoke on the balcony.|Small pool.

We check in on Valentine's Day and stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are amazing, the kitchen has an over, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. Everything you need to whip up a tasty meal (the coffee cups could be bigger). The beds are so comfy, the pillows are divine and the duona unfortunately wouldn't fit in my bad to take home 😆😉. There are little balconies and the view over the waterfront is lovely. The pressure in the shower is A+ and yhr bathtub is big enough to stretch out in. The supplied soap, shampoo, conditioner skin cream smells really noce and the supply consumables for the dishwasher. There is a washing machine and drier in the rooms too (and consumables for the washing machine also supplied). There are plenty of restaurants to pick from and room service. A nicely sized pool and spa and the gym equipment works well. The only downside was the fire alarm going off at 0300hrs on the Saturday morning with updates over the next hour. Then on the Sunday morning we were awaken by the microphone speaker for the water aerobic class being held at the wave pool at about 0800hrs. The service was polite and professional and we'd definitely stay again .... just further away from the wave pool. Also, there is no foxtel, you need to screen share your phone and apps to the TVs in the rooms and watch via screen share - there is free WiFi that does work really well.

Paid for 4.5-5 star with Discover Australia. Was 4 star at the most. Hall carpet held together with tape. Food trays left in hall for days. Room service only on 3rd day. Bins not emptied. Towels only changed when asked for and dirty ones left. Safe broken. On the last day our food was covered with ants. Their reply "sorry about that" No offer to replace it even though there was a restaurant on site (which was not always open)

Hotel feels dated. No staff on reception when we arrived and there was nothing to draw their attention to check us in. Rooms large but TV needs updated with decent channels, no teatowels, etc and it was an apartment. Bathroom towels felt old and small. Room service provided by Curve was dire. Limited options and then many of those unavailable. Jaffle wasn't cooked, pizza looked and tasted like MCCain frozen one. Breakfast was included but as it was provided by Curve, we skipped it. Despite its beautiful location, the hotel needs a bit of an overhaul back to how it used to be a couple of years ago.

We were very happy that we made the decision to stay at the Adina Hotel and apartments.. the position of the hotel on the waterfront was perfect..the hotel was welcoming and the suite we had suited our needs although the bathrooms are very dated and a stand alone shower rather than bath/shower would be a big improvement to the room ..the view was great ..looking over the beautiful waterfront .. there is a good pool and gym ,and the Curve restaurant/ bar had a very good buffet breakfast which was more than adequate, which we had each morning served specifically by 2 extremely busy and ‘awesome’ staff members Brandon and ||Marika ..great service and the best coffees !! All staff we ||came across were good ..we would recommend the Adina to anyone considering staying in the city precinct it’s in a good position and handy to lots of restaurants, the shuttle and free public bus ,and taxi, and Uber transport ,and the covered overhead ||walkway and so much more ..well done Adina ..
