I enjoyed our stay here and, despite concerns from other reviews, we didn’t experience any major issues. That said, a few tips that may help travelers familiar with U.S. hotels:
-Room Rates & Guests: Make sure to list the exact number of guests per room. The pull-out sofa is comfortable, but requesting extra bedding costs about $35 per night. For example, if you have four guests, only two will receive blankets unless you pay for additional bedding. Cribs (pack ‘n plays) are available for a nightly fee. Kids eat breakfast free, but adults must pay—booking breakfast in advance is cheaper.
-Appliances: The in-room washer/dryer, microwave, and stovetop were very convenient once we figured them out. Ask for the washer/dryer “cheat sheet” at check-in to save time—it’s worth it.
-Parking: You’ll need your room number and the exact name on the reservation to access parking. We had multiple rooms, and during one call for help, the front desk hung up on my husband due to a name or room mismatch. While I understand the security policy, clearer communication would have been more helpful. If you can, skip the rental car—we didn’t need one. The train and walking (even with a stroller) worked great for getting around the city.
Overall, a pleasant stay once we learned how everything worked.
