What a charming and grand heritage building this is and a real pleasure to have had the opportunity to stay here. The rooms were spacious and provided a super king bed that was very comfy. Shower pressure was incredible. Having a washing machine and dryer in the room was fantastic too. There was live band each night in the front bar area. Beautiful cocktails to enjoy while sitting and relaxing. This place is close to trams and eateries, so everything at your doorstep. A must stay while in Christchurch!

Loved this hotel. Such a great location close to the convention centre and and easy walk to Riverside markets, mall and restaurants. I loved staying in such a historic building and my room was stunning with huge floor to ceiling double story windows, with a view of the tram. The only thing that isn't clear on the website is that the bedroom is a spacious loft, but does have stairs that might be an issue if you have mobility issues. But it's a perfect layout if you need to work as the sleeping and living areas are quite separate and overall it's much bigger than an ordinary hotel room. The spa was lovely and all the staff were very helpful and approachable.

Absolutely amazing stay. Apartment clean spacious, and luxurious. One particular reception staff Aaman went over and above enabling us together concert tickets that we could not access. He really made our stay brilliant. Sports facilities were really good, lap pool and sauna good range of fitness equipment

We had apartment 26 which is on the Worcester St side of the building. ||I will start with the noise. We stayed Friday and Saturday night which are probably the 2 nights people go out in the city. The room has no sound proofing. (Being a heritage building probably can't add it) Party buses and cars with loud music doing laps and general patron noise until about 1am. |recommend you request a room on the other side if the building or for other nights its likely not an issue. ||The room itself was really nice. Downstairs is a lounge and dining room with a full kitchen and then upstairs to the loft area with bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom even had a Washer and Dryer. It really is a self-contained gem in the city. |The staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms super clean and tidy. ||I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel if I could guarantee a room on the OBG Lane side or if not staying Friday/Saturday night

This experience was much better than anticipated. I travelled with my daughter for the UOC open day and the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. In particular, the front of house reception staff, an indian gentleman was exceptional in customer service and made our stay truly exceptional. His attention to detail even included picking up morning coffees to our room when the coffee shop wasn’t open within the hotel itself. The roll away beds are comfortable as additional sleepers for apartments, and good restaurant options not to mention a fun location. I enjoyed the gym, and spa pool which was a clean and tidy set up. Christchurch doesn’t offer a lot in term of good city accommodation so if you are looking for a bit of space for families (despite being a bit dated) i would give this a go.

This Apt. was booked by my spanisch travel agency. A great thanks for that. 100% satisfying. Can just repeat the former good posts. Now in Nelson I would be happy if the local agency had booked something similar. But no problem, I will survive also in a normal hotel. Mainly because of the receptionists friendliness.

This is a heritage building and beautifully finished. Great location. Close to attractions dining and shops. Tram located right across the street. Stayed in a 1 Bedroom suite. We were shocked when we entered the suite. It was 2 levels, with the Bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. Large sitting area on the main level with a TV, kitchen table with 4 chairs and kitchenette. Also a TV in the bedroom. The room was clean. Plugs located next to the bed to charge our devices. Room had a safe which was nice to have. The washer and dryer worked well but were quite noisy. Furniture was dated. We found the bed, chairs and sofa too soft for us.

Adina Heritage Christchurch was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The hotel clearly does not care about guests at all. The pool looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in years (see attached photo), and the rooms are filthy. My mattress had huge stains and looked disgusting under the sheets (see attached), making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The hallways felt dark, dated, and uncared-for (see attached photo). I specifically requested an upgraded room or at least that the issues be fixed, but the manager, Astrid, refused to take responsibility or do anything to make it right. No apology, no solution—just blatant disregard for guests’ comfort. This hotel is a total scam—charging premium rates while delivering substandard facilities, filthy rooms. Do not waste your money here. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Lastly all hotel smells bad like drunk people Room windows leak cold air and room heater is useless
