Adina Heritage Christchurch

The hotel building is very historic and very interesting. It is very central to the city and bus stops.||We had a 1 bedroom suite which was amazing. It had the living area down stairs and a huge bedroom, bathroom and dressing area upstairs. Both floors had a big tv. The bed was like sleeping in marshmallows and so we had a good night's sleep every one of our 5 nights. Its was clean and well serviced every day. It was quiet and comfortable and we will definitely be back.

Hotel is lovely renovated old style in the "Old Government Building". Well maintained with lots of charm. Apartment rooms spacious w/ full kitchen. Furnishings clean, up to date and intact. Amenities provided. Staff friendly and helpful. Full restaurant and pub on site. |Walkable to many restaurants and trolley tram available across street in "Cathedral Square", an enclosed space of small shops and cafes.

We were a group of 10. A mixture of children and adults. Our stay at the Adina was great. Each room had its own facilities, including being able to cook a meal if we wished. The rooms were serviced each day by a willing and polite team. The beds were comfy and warm. The kids loved being in the pool and spa pool. The adults enjoyed the workout room, sauna and spa. The hotel is situated in the middle of Christchurch city. This made everything accessible for all of us

Sumptuous heritage building with glorious wide staircases, wooden panelling, an extensive health club, in-house restaurant/bar/barber, and hospitality to match the era.. we loved it. Our three bedroomed apartment came with 3 bathrooms over 2 levels, a spacious living area, well-stocked kitchen and daily housekeeping. Perfect central location. We didn't want to leave. Ever.

Great heritage building, best location in Christchurch. Staff were great. Room is great size. Super-king bed comfy. Indoor pool, spa, Sauna and gym open late to 10.30pm. Great bar with live music at front. We love the place. I’ve given it a 5. It’s probably worth a 4.5 but I can’t give it a half. I would take the half off because the bathrooms are a bit dated and there is quite a bit of noise on a Saturday night from the street outside. That won’t stop me coming back and we’ve booked in again as we love it.

Great location right in the centre of the cbd, and super close to excellent restaurants. The rooms are excellent size with super comfy beds and convenient kitchen. The are stairs to the two bedrooms which also share a small bathroom on the top level. All in all lovely comfortable room

This is our second stay here and it doesn't disappoint. not only are the rooms extremely large split level, its very central and easy to walk wherever you need to go in town. We visited a year ago, and it was interesting to see just in that year the work that has been done around town. Christchurch is really going to be an amazing city (already is) and the Heritage is right in the middle of it all! The service is flawless, thank you to all the staff for your help. However we were disappointed to see the restaurant was closed this time, they did the best dessert which we were looking forward to. I highly recommend this place only so many levels. We look forward to coming back!

Stayed during Easter - 18 to 23 April 2025. Highly recommend this apartment style hotel which has so many historic features that have been restored.||Positives - loft style 1 bed apartment with full kitchen and laundry facilities - excellent for those staying more than 2 nights.|Wall mounted heaters and double glazed windows create a cosy environment.|OGB Bar on site - great atmosphere and excellent service with live music at night.|Housekeeping did an excellent job with daily servicing.|In room safe and bathrobes|Walking distance to everything including New Regent St around the corner|City Tram out the front||Areas of improvement -|Arriving at night to find no Front Office team member - had to wait at least 10 mins |Vent in kitchen (on wall) needs vacuuming as extremely dirty.|Vanity in bathroom too small for 2 guests. |Steps at front difficult with luggage
