Adina Serviced Apartments Canberra James Court

I don't think I'd ever stay here again. It wasn't comfortable, it wasn't clean, and for the price you pay you feel cheated and ripped off. The staff were easy enough to communicate with. If you are in need of a last minute place to stay and nowhere else is available, this is a spot that has a roof over your head, a warm shower, and a bed. The physical placement of the building is not bad. I booked a hotel room across the New Year period for 3 people. When we arrived, the staff were easy enough to get along with and made check-in very easy. When we got up to our apartment, I found what we had received was a 1-bedroom apartment, when a 2-bedroom was booked. When addressed with the staff, they informed me that it was a "glitch" on their end, and there were no other rooms available until the next night. I was told I'd receive a refund for the difference in room (which I have received no refund for, or any mention of). They were able to get a fold-out bed due to the lack of a proper bed, which was quite average. Come the next day, they called me later in the day informing me they had the proper room ready to go for us, and that we were okay to move across when we had come back. As for the rooms, they were both in a state of disrepair: bathrooms (toilet seats falling to pieces, bathrooms cleaned to a low standard). The kitchen bench was still greasy from the previous customers. There were stains on the carpet and a pretty rough smell throughout the entire apartment. Overall, the cleaning was quite subpar. The rooms are quite noisy. We were in rooms facing northwest toward a street, and it was also easy to hear other customers on the same floor. This is mainly due to the windows. The aircon stank of either mould the last people, either way not good! The underground parking is convenient, but it’s sometimes hard to find a spot. The overall location of the apartments is reasonably central to the CBD.

The customer service was great, though i didn't have a need to call, i noticed there was no telephone in the room and I could not connect to YouTube or netflix from my device to their Television. Otherwise, i was satisfied.

Leaving the Quality Hotel Dickson , after being told the Room we had Booked for Many Years had been given to some one else , I found a small park so we would be in the Shade while I used my Phone to find alternate accommodation . I soon found the Adina Serviced apartments , James Court . Northbourne Avenue . The Room was a 1 Bed Apartment . No 609 on the 6th Floor , close to the lift .Separate Bedroom . Balcony . Kitchen, Lounge Room. Bathroom with a huge Spa Bath . Large TV in Lounge and Bedroom . Full size Fridge Freezer . Underground Parking ($20 per night ) Room was $162 for the night. Much cheaper than The Quality Hotel Dickson.|The Adina is only a 5 minute Walk to the Canberra Centre , Dozens of Restaurants in fact everything you could need .|So glad we found this and we will be booking for our next Trip to Albury

Lovely stay! The apartment had everything I needed for a week, plus spa bath, sauna, gym, and secure parking—perfect since I drove into Canberra for a sporting event. Central location with restaurants and Canberra Centre within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for a convenient city stay. Con's: - EV charging would have been great. - Couldn’t cast my phone to the TV but this could be just me. Tip: Use the toaster under the kitchen hood to avoid setting off the smoke alarm 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Great location, even better value for money. No frills, clean rooms with ample living space and a nice size balcony. Some rooms are tight, and bathrooms could do with a refresh. The pool looks nice, although it was under maintenance, which we were not advised about. A huge factor into the 3 star review.

I got this apartment through air bnb, the room itself was lovely, 2 bed 2 bath fully equipped kitchen washing machine & dryer and a spa in the main bath. Everyone who worked there though were just lovely. From the ladies who serviced the rooms to the managers, all very helpful. Secure parking underground. I would recommend Adina Serviced Apartments

Spacious rooms...but needs a little face lift. Scuffed and chipped walls, dusty vents, broken draws etc.... However, the pool area is nice and its location is close to restay, casino, tram line, etc. Not bad but not great. Also, the room smelt like cigarettes when we walked in.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Couch not much better. Found it quite difficult to sleep each night due to lack of comfort. Kitchen was decently sized; with most things you would need to cook. However, cleanliness of kitchen was to be desired. Spills over the bin, microwave had never been wiped under. Benches were sticky upon arrival. Bathrooms desperately need an upgrade. Mould, and dirt throughout. Sink was cracked. Shower curtain gross. Location is good; however rooms need more attention to general cleanliness.

Nice rooms, can easily see why people live here. Close to everything, nice in room spa, & the kitchens are functional. Having a key with a giant keyring is annoying when taking a clutch. Can be a little loud with street noise on the weekend, but its fine if your not a super light sleeper.

I stayed in the Adina for 3 nights whilst in Canberra on a business trip. Whilst the location is pterry good, easy access to major road, but far enough away that you dont think you are living on a freeway, the rooms & service were pretty pathetic. The microwave had the old fashioned clockwork timer, I haven't seen one for years, so god knows how old it was. The dining room air conditioner seemed to want to leave the wall, judging by the noise it was making. The plasterwork on the entryway wall had recently been repaired, however the handyman must have been out of sandpaper, because he had just painted over the patch, you could still see the trowel marks. The lounge room TV would only offer the pay per view movies and after calling reception twice, i gave up and set on the bed & watched that one. This place must have been pretty up there in its day, however it requires some $ spent on it now.
