A lot of recent reviews are fairly accurate. I spent two nights here. The location is exceptional, right down from Wien HBF which is convenient to take the U1 line into the city centre (Stephansplatz). The room itself was clean and efficient. That is where a lot of the positives end:
- Staff was consistently overwhelmed and were quite curt and in cases rude when something was being addressed (check in/check out, location of facilities, etc) or witnessing other patrons being treated poorly when also engaging with staff. Only one working computer the day I checked in which caused some delays.
- Only one functional elevator, which created delays going to and from the room. I used the stairwell for more convenient access (but know most people aren’t going to traverse 5 flights of stairs)
-Rooms are cleaned once per week, on Mondays, so do not expect daily cleaning or turn down services.
- Basic cooking utensils are available in the kitchenette in your room, but a more extensive package can be requested from the front desk at an additional cost of €25.
- Although I did not have breakfast included with my stay, the location of this is at another Adina property around the corner, which to me seems inconvenient and defeats the purpose of purchasing to begin with.
Overall, excellent location to the main railway station metro access. But experience at hotel was subpar. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.
