I’ve been coming here during the Lake Placid Committed Game Lacrosse Tournament since 2017 and it never disappoints! Fresh fast and delicious- sandwiches put together while you wait how you order them. Anyone looking for a small town deli while in Lake Placid can’t miss this place! (Limited outdoor seating so this is a grab and go) they also have every variation of hydration and snack/treats to go with your sandwich and the customer service is second to none!

Absolutely love getting sandwiches at the Corner Store! The food is fresh and delicious and the service is terrific. We look forward to enjoying your sandwiches!

Sandwiches were huge and fresh! Very good deli and small store. People were super friendly and helpful. Great for a quick lunch stop that has tables and picnic benches to eat outside.

Terrible service. We stopped by to buy a couple of drinks, and my boyfriend was the one making the purchase. He had his ID and was clearly over 21. I was buying a lemonade for myself as a separate purchase — but they refused to sell him beer simply because I didn’t show my ID. It’s ridiculous to punish a customer because of someone else in the same vehicle. Totally unnecessary and frustrating experience.

You need it they probably got it. Got a Ruben sandwich and it was great. Came with a pickle and chips

I’ve been to the Adirondack corner store many times for years and had delicious sandwiches, prepared dinners, and salads, and all sorts of things. It’s always been my experiences that the sandwiches are generously filled to say the least and very reasonably priced. I also have enjoyed the staff, as they are pleasant and do a good job making the food. I cannot recommend this place more highly for a local place to get a sandwich or prepared meal or a dessert or all sorts of quick items on shelves.

The biggest mistake I made during my Lake Placid vacation was not stopping in here first! Really impressed by the variety of products and how exceptionally tidy and clean the store is. The Italian sub was everything you want it to be: filling, fresh, and flavorful. The shepherd's pie was decent enough for the price, and hey, who wants to cook after driving home for 6 hours?

Initially food seemed decent, but after discovering a hair, had to edit the review to one star. I will say staff was good to process a refund, but that issue coupled with a lesson needed lesson in customer service could help out some. Customer service lacked between phone etiquette and personally as a customer feeling rushed during the ordering and check out process isn’t a good feeling. I understand busy times, but if everyone took a moment to pause, perhaps wrong orders wouldn’t be given out and communication with customers may be better. Being this as my second visit and same type of customer service, I feel I may go elsewhere next time.

We've been coming to Lake Placid for several years and have never been here. Eating out is getting expensive. The corner store has just what we wanted at reasonable prices. I had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich which was packed with cranberries and so delicious! It comes on a 12 grain bread which was very soft. We will be back! Note-they have a system where you check what you want on their order slip. One sandwich per slip.

Their sandwich's are over priced Jimmy dean frozen sandwiches. I would consider this business a convenience store not a deli

I loved finding this little gem on my way back to the Albany airport! I'm gluten free and they offered a great solution...a sandwich in a container. SOLD! Knowing I had a long day ahead, I also got the walnut cherry chicken salad in a container. Both were SO GOOD! I very much appreciated the creativity and service!!!

it was fine, convenient location though expensive. Sandwiches were so so -- lots of filler and not so much meat in the chicken sandwich, but tasted fine. They sell a very nice yogurt parfait.

Convenient spot just outside of town with a great variety covering breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Also has broader open hours than many other area convenience stores.

Went for "breakfast sandwiches" and they're pre fabbbed stuff like from the grocery store unfortunately. Good service and good coffee. For $3.69, per one Jimmy Dean style sandwich, we could have gone elsewhere. Subs and other food looked good but I would skip it for breakfast options, unless that is your thing.

Just stopped in for some sandwiches and we were NOT disappointed. She got the cranberry chicken salad on 12 grain bread - AMAZING!! I got a tuna sub, it was fresh and just right. The deli meats are boar's head so you know it'll be all good. Fast pleasant service, we ended up eating at a table on their front porch in the shade, and they have some picnic tables (and parking) in the back. This is exactly the kind of local place I love to support! Eat here. Just do it.

I love this place. It makes me happy to just step foot in here. Maybe it's simply because it's in Lake Placid? Perhaps. But the people there are always friendly, the store is immaculate, the selection is great, the food (baked goods/sandwiches/soups/salads) look scrumptious (and fresh!!)...and the soft serve ice cream is just right. I make it a point to go in there to buy something...anything....any time I go to Lake Placid.

Comfy little corner store. They have everything and good coffee to boot. Subs on fresh rolls were very good -- I'm from Philly, so they weren't Philly standard, but definitely very good. No risk with the sandwiches here. One caution -- after having a really good chicken sandwich the night before, my wife was craving a fresh egg-sausage sandwich in the morning. She ordered it and was really disappointed to find that it was a pre-made microwave deal. She was so bummed, she couldn't eat it, especially watching me tear into my delicious chicken cutlet sub. Good little store and they probably have whatever you need.

Nice quaint store within walking distance from the Courtyard by Marriott. Pretty much had everything you need..... and really nice workers! Will definitely keep going back when staying/visiting Lake Placid!

My boyfriend and I always come here for subs as we especially love the bread they use. They have always been consistently good and the ingredients are high quality but on the pricier side. We also come for their soft serve throughout the summer. They have frequent buyer cards for subs and ice creams which is nice too.

The best place to get a sammichhhh Great selection of foods. I love very much! My girlfriends like the place as well.

Highly recommend the sandwiches. Over Labor Day weekend most restaurants were a bust for wait times and high density - someone at our camp recommended Adirondack Corner Store to grab some dinner and I'm really glad we did. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich, and my sister got a turkey club. Very good bread, meat portions are clearly measured and very generous, and very friendly service when we there on Saturday night. Also cool: you can grab most of the camping supplies you forgot and firewood when you stop in for food.

One of the best deli's. Food is fresh and served in good proportions. Friendly and courteous staff.

Awesome deli that is open till 11, have never seen a deli open even close to that late. Great make your own sandwich system, they have cards and pens on the counter you can check off everything that you want like type of bread, cheese,toppings, meat ect, and then hand it to the guy behind the counter. Plenty of menu sandwiches as well. Friendly staff as well, he apologized for the wait, while it took no more than 5 minutes for 2 sandwiches. They also have soft serve icecream that was a nice suprise and VERY good. Prices were very fair, and alot cheaper than other market places in the area. Definitely recommend coming here.

Very friendly staff, stopped in for some breakfast and grabbed a lunch to go before a big hike around here

We stopped in here to order sandwiches to-go. You go up to the counter and fill out a paper form with your order. The sandwiches were ready in about 5 minutes. I think they even use Boars Head ingredients. I didn't eat it until much later while kayaking, but it was delicious.

Faster, just as good, and half the price of typical sit down restaurants with an hour to two wait. Very friendly staff and great fries!

Good food. Extremely rude staff. The worst part of my vacation was stopping here on my way out. The rest of Lake Placid is so pleasant and friendly, but, take my advice. Don't expect that here. You're not a valued customer here, juat a way to keep the business afloat. Good food though.

The best soft serve in town. Fresh deli salad and amazing tomato Mac soup. There is rarely I day I don't drop in for something. So clean you eat off the floor!!
