Our family had a great time at this glamping spot in the Adirondacks! When we got there, we loved how scenic everything was. There is a beautiful river running behind the campsite. We spent a whole afternoon going tubing, and everyone had a blast. This is a very kid-friendly place. The staff did a great job making sure the kids had fun, and the karaoke hour was a big hit. I also really liked how clean all the facilities were—it made our stay much more comfortable. The service here is great. The staff is not only friendly but also very honest. A man named Andrew found my wallet after we checked out and gave us a call right away to return it, which shows how good the people are. This kind of service is what makes this place special. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a beautiful, fun, and safe place for a family trip with great service, you should check this place out!

We stayed 5 nights at Adirondack Safari and we had an amazing time!!! Bingo, Silent dance parties, Native American dances by the fire, movies in the pavilion. Karaoke was even fun for everyone because it's a relaxing, friendly atmosphere for families who want to have a blast and let go!! The other camping families were also very nice. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Our tent had a couple of leaks in the corners but I didn't complain b/c it was small. Plus we're camping!! The campsite is close to everything you want or need, shopping in town, tubing, restaurants and grocery stores. Did I mention the friendly, helpful, happy staff! They were there and ready to help if needed. Max, Andrew, Debbie and Sidney were so kind. The best part of the trip for me was the Native American Dances around a fire. It was truly spiritual, magical and educational. I hope my girls want to go camping at Adirondack Safari again b/c I do!!!

Went for a girls weekend with 7 other ladies, overall we made the best of it and enjoyed oyrselves, however this place is definitely geared towards families. Would not recommend if you want to let loose and have fun with your girls! We all felt as if we were closely being monitored and had to watch what we said or did. Most staff were friendly, while some lacked customer service skills. Room/tent was a great size that comfortably slept 8 of us. We loved tubing, kayaking and activities offered. We made the absolute best of our weekend and didn't let the negatives of our experience taint the weekend. For families with non toddler children-great. Adults wanting a kid free getaway- do not recommend.

We had a Bachelorette party here. It was pretty expensive for the quality, but it turned into a fun joke for us. The website definitely makes it seems nicer than it actually is. Bathrooms and showers were pretty icky and water pressure was non existant, but we were "glamping" so we shrugged it off as hilarious, to add to the fact of all the other hilarious things. The tubing experience had us rolling. 45 minute ride but the water hardly moved and was very green with geese poop everywhere. Unavoidable, I get it. It's just that the website made it look like a real glamping experience. The tents were large and had fans however they were a bit musty smelling. Karaoke was a blast. Lots of things for kids. Silent disco was fun. It was a great weekend with the girls, they just need to advertise it correctly and tell you how it really is. Lol.

Went with 11 family members. Super easy to book tents right next to each other. The chairs, fire pits and grills were great. Tubing was short distance but really relaxing. It was quiet and a great location. My kids loved the bingo, karaoke and silent disco. On Tuesday night there was an adult type movie and one for kids in the pavilion. Our tent was close to the pavilion so the adult movie was a little loud, but to be expected! Overall a really nice, clean and relaxed experience!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights from Tuesday - Thursday and loved the experience! Being that we were there on weeknights instead of a weekend, we were pleasantly surprised that the campground had so many activities to partake in during our stay. There’s so much to do if you choose to stay on the campground instead of venturing out to nearby towns. The owner, Andrew, was such a nice and inviting guy. He greeted us as soon as we got there and was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking to camp in the Adirondacks!

We had a family reunion with 143 people. We rented every tent and fed everyone breakfast and dinner. Andrew was amazing to work with. All the activities and entertainment provided brought us together for fun and laughter and catching up. The tent beds are very comfortable - I heard many people say they slept "so good". We set up the 3 pavilions as food, entertainment, and a calm area. One doubled for church. The kids had lots of room to run and play games. There was always someone on the river, the tubing was refreshing and you didn't have to drive anywhere.

We had a marvelous time here! It's so chill and welcoming. Takes all the stress out of camping. I had a broken foot and the golf cart rentals made it so I could still enjoy myself. The staff is really friendly and helpful! Even the maintenance people seemed really happy and friendly. The paint and sip was a blast! We definitely plan on being back next year!

Yelp
Sighhhh...we wanted to love this place! Glamping sounded like so much fun! But, this did not meet our expectations of glamping and what we thought it would be, especially for the price. We are campers. We camp in the woods, on the islands of Lake George, way up north in the Adirondacks, etc. but thought this might be a different, fun, and easy way to glamp! The website and the maps provided are very deceiving. We picked a spot "along the River" because on the map, it shows the sites on the river. However, you cannot see or hear the River from the "riverside" tents. The map also isn't to scale. According to the map, the sites are spread out, but in reality, they are right on top of each other. Anyhow, it's pretty much just a big field with no trees or shade with a ton of tents plopped on it. On a hot day, there is no escape from the heat. The tents get so hot! The staff is nice and they keep the place very clean. There is a fire pit, picnic table with cover, trash can, and zero gravity chairs at each tent. The bed was comfortable! The reason I purchased this different type of camping package was because there was a Groupon. I can assure you, that even for the discounted price of $315 for two nights, it is not worth the experience. I feel like they have the potential to offer more, for less. Kayaks should not cost money to rent for people staying on the premises! They should plant some trees or some sort of barrier for the tents that are directly next to the road, etc. We will not be returning to Adirondack Safari.

Yelp
It was a fun place to stay. Staff was great! Our tent was clean, bed was comfy. We had our own picnic table, zero gravity chairs, pop up canopy, fire pit and charcoal grill. There were lots of activities on site to.participate in. The only negative part was the bathroom/shower facilities. Bathrooms kept running out of toilet paper and the shower booths were really small. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Conveniently located to lots of activities in the region (Lake George, rail biking, rodeo). We would definitely go there again.

Yelp
I've spent two birthdays here and it's so much fun!!! the perfect spot to go 'camping' if you're with anyone who doesn't like camping! everything from the tent and bed, to the fire pit and picnic area is set up for you! just bring your own food! they have a small shop where they sell fire wood, ice and other amenities you may have forgot. there are showers, toilets and sinks available too. Love the Native American performance they do around the fire, and the bingo, karaoke and silent disco are nice touches! My favorite is the tubing available on the river. The only improvement I'd recommend is to have designated 18+ and family weekends. It was clear both times that the campsite was divided between rowdier 29/30 something's who were celebrating and wanted to drink, play music and laugh into later hours, and tents of families who were awake early and going to bed early (maybe even divide the property in half?). Either way, they're doing a great job and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We picked this glamping site as our summer closing trip during the pandemic. We had a big group and they were able to put us all together. Kids enjoyed so much and want to come back. Additional thanks to Alex and the friendly crew that made our stay relax and flexible.

Yelp
I always give a fair chance on a place before rating it. First off, I paid over $550 for two nights. I understand the price tag for glamping but this was far from a glamping experience. I have glamped previously with Under Canvas which was higher in price but a amazing experience. Adirondack Safari was severely lacking in the definition of glamping. The photos on the website were inaccurate as we had no deck and the rooms looked nothing like the pictures . After we checked in we noticed that the carpet in our room was dirty ( not from us) and looked like a frat house carpet. It was frayed and dirty. The furniture inside the tent were plastic lawn chairs. The worst part of our tent was the numerous ants in it that got into every bag we had. I understand we are camping but there was so many that despite killing kept reappearing. Besides the tent, the shower trailer ( yes a trailer) was disgusting and dirty. The showers were small and occasionally had hot water ( think prison showers). The bathrooms were constantly dirty and barely had toilet paper. None of the amenities were consistent with a glamping experience, especially with the price tag. On top of the price, everything else is extra money (firewood, kayaking). They need to reevaluate what glamping actually is. If your expecting a glamping experience, do not book here. This is a bare minimum camping experience with the luxury of having a real bed and the tent being pre pitched for you. Also to add, there is no shade anywhere! Your tent will get notoriously hot despite having a small Walmart fan in it. Want to note as well that we told someone when we checked out how we felt and responded how else are they supposed to make money regarding everything be extra. Otherwise he didn't seem to care about how we felt.

Yelp
Comfortable beds and tent. Gravity chairs and fire ring supplied. If tubing is closed, like during our visit, there is not much to do during the day on site. A children's playground would really help. The restrooms and showers need to be checked on regularly to insure cleanliness and supplies such as paper towels are filled.

Yelp
AMAZING!! This was such an awesome experience! Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Anyone who is unsure about glamping should just go for it because theres nothing like it! Never did it before this but glad we did. The beds were SO comfortable. Having our own chairs and fire pit outside of the tent was where we hung out the most, early in the morning, late at night. The little store near the entrance has everything you need from snacks to lighters, citronella candles. We were right behind the river where we took some floaties out. Nobody bothered us for anything! Very trusting and reliable environment! Not to mention the super chill and kind staff! Everybody and everything was amazing! Here's some pics of our tent!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! I've never been camping before but this is camping with real, comfortable beds, like in a dream. The river doesn't have as much fish as we thought but my son still caught some and had a blast. The Indian dances were amazing as well! Hope to visit you guys again next year! Keep up the good work!

Yelp
I hate writing bad reviews and try to stay away from them however, I'm so confused by all the good reviews that I just have to. I expected so much more for $239 a night. It's literally a total rip off. I've stayed at hotels that are only $50 that are nicer than this, And before you say "oh she just doesn't know what camping is", I go tent camping all the time. This is so much different and I was expecting a beautiful indoor tent and from the photos it looks like that's what I was going to get in but if you can look at the photo that I took of my tent and the photo of the one that is actually listed it's the same comforter but somehow the one that's listed looks so much nicer. All the tents are out in the field there's hardly anything in a shady spot maybe to tent sites. We asked for one on the river and they said they were all booked but I just went to try to book one online and not only is it $10 cheaper but it's right on the river (still available for tonight). The staff seems very nice (we've spoken the most with Alex and he is a gem) and you can tell that they're working hard but again the price just doesn't fit what you're getting. There's water accumulating in the table covers, The actual tents have mold all over them, And again if you look at the pictures, the pictures actually make it look nicer in the tent than it actually is. But again my biggest thing is that there's no shade making it extremely hot and for someone who burns easily there's not much to do other than trying to hide from the sun. There are a ton of ant hills near our tent and the tent doesn't really zip up completely so they're all in our tent. Plus everything here costs money and for $239 a night you think you would get to do everything complementary. I have been to other glamping sites that are up on wooden surfaces instead of on the ground and they're back in the woods and they are cheaper so please if you want to try clamping don't waste your money here go somewhere else. I wish I had known this before my boyfriend spent all this money here. Literally $500 for two nights. They do make it look a lot nicer on their website and most of the pictures are of night. I just hope that this saves one person from fucking with this place if they're expecting a much nicer place definitely go somewhere else

Yelp
My daughter and I enjoyed this place very much. It was off season so the first night we were the only ones there, needless to say there were no activities lol. The owner personally gave us firewood and a complimentary golf cart to compensate. Our second night was delightful, painting, bingo, movies. The staff continually drives by with bug spray, extra blankets, stuff to build you a fire. Extremely attentive and friendly. I'm looking forward to another trip next year.

Yelp
Amazing experience here with a 13 person bachelorette party. Staff is very accommodating and informative of things to do within the camp site and in the town overall. Beds were very comfortable and kept us warm throughout the night, and somehow no bugs got inside the tent. Bathrooms were as expected for a camp ground, and well maintained throughout the day. The showers are decent as well, and there is a powder room with a mirror- though it's probably best to bring a small mirror of your own. Staff delivers firewood or ice directly to tent and is available to start your fire upon request. The night time activities are well attended and therefor much more entertaining. Will definitely be back again, thank you so much for a great stay!

Yelp
Where to start! Upon arrival my husband and 2 year old son were given a tour by a very energetic, outgoing young lady named Natalie she was so friendly and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Soon After we met the loveliest couple Maritza and Paul, Maritza is a housekeeper and her genuine smile and sweet nature left me talking to her right away, she was such a delight and treated us like family. We booked 2 nights for my birthday and were lucky enough to see the Native American song and dance, it was amazing! My family thoroughly enjoyed the silent disco, it was a riot to watch and partake! Tubing the river was a treat as well as the weather was hot and it was perfect for relaxation. But I won't stop here! The grounds crew Max and Zach were nothing short of helpful we realized we had forgotten a charger for a speaker we had and Max was kind enough to lend us his! There were so many activities to choose from during our stay you could tell that everything was thought out perfectly for any type of family! I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is and we truly had a relaxing time even with our toddler son! We can't wait to do it again. The memories made were price less
